Uiuiuiuiui， ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll。。Ich fand es unglaublich schwer， wieder in die Geschichte zu finden。 Ein - zwei Seiten "Was bisher geschah。。" wären schon extrem schön gewesen。。 Der Schreibstil entwickelt sich von Geschichte zu Geschichte von SJM immer mehr。 Es ist angenehm und toll zu lesen。Es gibt viele explizite spicy Szenen。 Entweder man ist Fan davon oder eben nicht。 Aber für mich wäre es in diesem Buch nicht notwendig gewesen。Zudem gibt es diverse up-&-down's der Geschic Uiuiuiuiui， ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll。。Ich fand es unglaublich schwer， wieder in die Geschichte zu finden。 Ein - zwei Seiten "Was bisher geschah。。" wären schon extrem schön gewesen。。 Der Schreibstil entwickelt sich von Geschichte zu Geschichte von SJM immer mehr。 Es ist angenehm und toll zu lesen。Es gibt viele explizite spicy Szenen。 Entweder man ist Fan davon oder eben nicht。 Aber für mich wäre es in diesem Buch nicht notwendig gewesen。Zudem gibt es diverse up-&-down's der Geschichte， sodass man auch mal in der Geschichte "entspannen" kann。 Zahlreiche Plottwists halten den Spannungsbogen am Ende der jeweiligen Teile der Geschichte。Was den Plot angeht - er hat mich aus den Latschen gehauen。 Da sind Informationen aufgedeckt wurden， auf die ich niemals selbst gekommen wäre。Der Cliffhanger wird von allen sehr gehyped。 Allerdings möchte ich anmerken， dass es sich lohnen würde， wenn man die anderen Bücher von SJM bereits gelesen hat - dies ist bei mir nicht der Fall。 Deswegen empfinde ich diesen， als nicht super duper ultra hyper großartig。。Alles in allem mochte ich das Buch extrem gerne und freue mich auf den nächsten Teil！ 。。。more

No spoilers: I had heard through the realms of social media that this book had a crazy cliffhanger， but that didn’t stop me from reading it anyway and it certainly didn’t stop me from waking my husband up with high-pitched screeching。 I love the modern fantasy and access to tech， the spice was great， and there were surprises all along the way。 I would read this a hundred times over。

Sarah J Maas never disappoints。 Another incredible book that I loved with my whole heart。This was a slightly different reading experience from Sarah's other books。 I paced myself for a change and read this book in snippets （Aside from the last 100 pages， which I stupidly started right before I went to bed and couldn't stop reading once I had started）， and it was such a lovely feeling knowing I had that book waiting at home for me。 （view spoiler）[ I loved seeing the crew together。 Sarah has a rea Sarah J Maas never disappoints。 Another incredible book that I loved with my whole heart。This was a slightly different reading experience from Sarah's other books。 I paced myself for a change and read this book in snippets （Aside from the last 100 pages， which I stupidly started right before I went to bed and couldn't stop reading once I had started）， and it was such a lovely feeling knowing I had that book waiting at home for me。 （view spoiler）[ I loved seeing the crew together。 Sarah has a real talent for writing a dynamic cast of characters you love individually。 They all bounced off each other and just felt so alive。 I loved Ruhn and Bryce's relationship and how we got to see more in-depth what a good guy he is。 One thing， though， I'm surprisingly not as invested in Bryce and Hunt's relationship as I thought I might have been， and I'm weirdly okay with that。 Don't get me wrong， though; I love them separately and together。 Also， it was quite heartening to see Ithan finally be welcomed into a home。 I feel like I have mixed emotions about how much Danika was hiding from Bryce and also this is a popular thing in Sarah's books but I actually didn't like the reveal about Bryce actually knowing where Emile was。 ALSO THE HIND！！！！ WHATT I most definitely did not see that coming at all。 So many parts of this book literally left my mouth hanging open in shock like I had to keep covering parts of the book to make sure my eyes didn't quickly jump to take a glance at it。 Okay， now we have to talk about that ending！！！！！！！！！ WHATTTTT， this is what I wrote on my phone after I finished。 "HOLY HOD， I JUST FINISHED CRAEXNEG CITY， AND I AM NOG OKWAY THAYYY" If that gives you any indication of how shook I was。 Also， Sarah said in the next book we'll be spending half the time in the ACOTAR world！！！ Also， i can't fathom Ruhn and Rhys being the same， like the air they appear to me is so different。 （hide spoiler）]In conclusion， I need the next book now！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 WOW- WHAT AN ENDING。 This book stressed me tf out。 So many twists and turns…。 It was slow at some points and then when you thought it was getting boring- BOOM…。 A truth bomb dropped。 I loved watching Ithans character grow。 I loved watching him and Bryce rekindle their friendship and him finding a new pack。 It really warmed my heart。 I loooooved the relationship between Agent Night and Agent Day。 I could call that double agent though…。 I have a feeling the Asteri are the Valg from TOG。

The big ending for book two of the Crescent City series did not make up for the rest of the book。 And I'll be so disappointed if it leads to a cheesy cameo。It felt like the plot seams were really showing in this book and some of them were coming apart。 In particular， character motivations seemed to be flimsy at best。 Let's all risk our lives for a kid we don't know because he's a kid。 Let's get involved in things that turned out badly for us before because some guy we don't trust says we should。 The big ending for book two of the Crescent City series did not make up for the rest of the book。 And I'll be so disappointed if it leads to a cheesy cameo。It felt like the plot seams were really showing in this book and some of them were coming apart。 In particular， character motivations seemed to be flimsy at best。 Let's all risk our lives for a kid we don't know because he's a kid。 Let's get involved in things that turned out badly for us before because some guy we don't trust says we should。 A whole lot of actions taken by characters in this book weren't underpinned by strong enough motivations。 And Hunt doesn't put up nearly enough resistance as events unfold。 It simply wasn't believable。 Nor were some of his interactions with the new archangel， which seemed really out of character。 The sex scenes had hardly any romance or chemistry involved。 I started thinking， not again， whenever they cropped up。 And seriously， how many more new plot points can Danika drive from the bone quarter？ The Danika revelations just keep coming。 For most of this book， I felt like I was watching a game of chess where there was little strategy。 Pieces were being moved just so we could get to where we were supposed to end up。 I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next book hangs together better。 。。。more
