Alright guys, here we go: I need to rant。 I love Conrad。 After reading this series the summer of 6th grade (2019) I was absolutely in love with Conrad。 A guy that doesn't pay attention to you? AWESOME。 I will live my life never knowing someone like him again。 There was this one guy but he's not uhh "good news" if you know what I mean。 This series is so nostalgic and summery for me。 I've been watching the series on Amazon prime and it's okay but terrible in comparison to the books。 It's nothing l Alright guys, here we go: I need to rant。 I love Conrad。 After reading this series the summer of 6th grade (2019) I was absolutely in love with Conrad。 A guy that doesn't pay attention to you? This was honestly the perfect summer book series - I just loved the summery, beach vibes it exuded! Although I was a bit conflicted in parts of the books and I don't love the love triangle trope, I still thoroughly enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it if you have not read it yet。 This was honestly the perfect summer book series - I just loved the summery, beach vibes it exuded! 1。5 starsmy dearest condolences to all the the summer i turned pretty fans out there, but i just couldnt get myself to fall in love with this book。 it was poorly written, dissapointing, bland, and overhyped。 the main character was shallow, whiny, childish and just overall a bitch。 she had no personality and was excessively rude。 there was no chemistry between her and either of the boys for the entirety of the book, which is pretty fucking dumb considering theres supposed to be a love triangle be 1。5 starsmy dearest condolences to all the the summer i turned pretty fans out there, but i just couldnt get myself to fall in love with this book。 it was poorly written, dissapointing, bland, and overhyped。 the main character was shallow, whiny, childish and just overall a bitch。 she had no personality and was excessively rude。 there was no chemistry between her and either of the boys for the entirety of the book, which is pretty fucking dumb considering theres supposed to be a love triangle between the three。 jeremiah was just straight up ridiculous, and conrad was just tolerable at best。 honestly, i expected more。 。。。more

First book is my favorite, the second one has a slow start but it’s fine, and the third one has a good start but an ending I didn’t like。

Belly。。。。。。 God ik it sounds judgemental but man she's fucking pathetic! Specially when it comes to the Jerk of the Year CON-FUCKING-ARD! Like dude, how many times do u need to be fucking humiliated to learn ur lesson?! Ig the answer is fucking INFINIT (See what I did there?!), cuz she NEVER ever fucking learns!! It's literally so bloody annoying aghh! Also, can we talk about the shitty way she treats her mom? Like bitch have ya ever heard of the word MANNERS? Her mother has "no rights to tell her what she should do" since she's fucking "grown-up" now。 First of all, my dear child, you're a goddamn TEENAGER! And secondly, if u really think you are grown up, then start acting like one ffs! And now we'll talk about our "unavailable, aloof" mmc, Conard。。。。 Can this guy just go fuck himself or smth? Man literally treats her like shit in the whole trilogy, showing A FEW GENEROUS CARING MOMENTS, and in the end, he's just telling her that he "still loves her" and guess what? Oh I'm sure u don't even needa guess。 Sweet ol' Belly is all too ready to accept him back again。 (OH yeah she did hesitate。 for like a few seconds。。。。。 Wow)。 He srsly needs to go fix himself! I literally hated him ALL THROUGHT THE BOOK! FUCK YOU CONNARD FISHER。 You're one of the worst male main fucking character I've ever read about! *Picture To Burn by Tay just started playing。。。。。 I'm takin it as a sign that she agrees)Jeremiah。。。。。。。 The baby deserved soo much better! Like ofc I'm not saying he's a saint or anything cuz ik he's fucking not。 But I still don't hate him even half as much as I hate the other characters! I really hope he finds someone who loves him the way he deserves to be loved someday! I wish we got more of Cam though! The poor guy was literally the only one in this book whom I actually liked! So yeah。。。。。 I really fucking hated the characters of this story。 I really hope that the author doesn't take it to heart, cuz I'm sure she's a really talented author。 And I'm sure there are several people who love this book, so just ignore me and keep it in mind 'Haters gonna hate' doesn't mean you're wrong!https://www。bing。com/images/search?vi。。。P。S。 I picked it up cuz of This Love (Taylor's Version) and the trailer 。。。more

Rereading these because it is summer and because they’re making a tv series and because nostalgia。

Belly pissed me off so much but it was a satisfying ending

Not good writing, but I’m always interested in romance books。 I didn’t really like Belly until the 3rd book, where I felt like she had become more mature and had to actually make heavier decisions。 Belly says a lot of stuff she doesn’t mean because she knows it’ll hurt the other person, and obviously, I really don’t like that。

Reading for the series…

I have so much and also so little to say about this book。 Simply put, I couldn’t put it down。 Do I wish I read this at 13 instead of as an adult? Yes。 I would’ve absolutely lost my shit at this as a ~tween~。 It doesn’t matter though because I still thought the whole series was great and the storyline of the last book rly threw me for a loop。 I can’t say I didn’t know how it was going to end all along, but I think there’s something to say for a predictable story that still has you hooked the whol I have so much and also so little to say about this book。 Simply put, I couldn’t put it down。 Do I wish I read this at 13 instead of as an adult?
