Casey Fletcher, a recently widowed actress trying to escape a streak of bad press, has retreated to the peace and quiet of her family's lake house in Vermont。 Armed with a pair of binoculars and several bottles of bourbon, she passes the time watching Tom and Katherine Royce, the glamorous couple living in the house across the lake。 They make for good viewing--a tech innovator, Tom is powerful; and a former model, Katherine is gorgeous。

One day on the lake, Casey saves Katherine from drowning, and the two strike up a budding friendship。 But the more they get to know each other--and the longer Casey watches--it becomes clear that Katherine and Tom's marriage isn't as perfect as it appears。 When Katherine suddenly vanishes, Casey immediately suspects Tom of foul play。 What she doesn't realize is that there's more to the story than meets the eye--and that shocking secrets can lurk beneath the most placid of surfaces。

What。 A。 Ride! I’m a big fan of this author and this lived up to my expectations。 What I liked ~•the beautiful (yet eerie!) lake setting with the combination of old and modern homes•a fantastic cast of characters that all played important roles in the plot•twists & turns! So fun (and creepy!)•if you liked the books The Woman in the Window, Stillhouse Lake and the movie Rear Window, you’ll love this。 The movie is even referenced in the book。 My favorite Riley Sager book to date is Last Time I Lie What。 A。 Ride! 💭 ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛꜱ:My first Riley Sager did not disappoint。 It was a bit slow at the start and the long chapters didn’t help with that。 It picked up nicely around the halfway point with some unexpected twists。 Getting me on the edge of my seat and wanted to dig deeper and deeper。 I loved the setting of the Lake as it makes for perfect mysteries。 I wasn’t a big fan of the heavy alcoholism element but it did blend into the story nicely, adding to the story。 Overal a very quick read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤓 ʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪꜰ ʏ 💭 ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛꜱ:My first Riley Sager did not disappoint。 It was a bit slow at the start and the long chapters didn’t help with that。 It picked up nicely around the halfway point with some unexpected twists。 Getting me on the edge of my seat and wanted to dig deeper and deeper。 I loved the setting of the Lake as it makes for perfect mysteries。 I wasn’t a big fan of the heavy alcoholism element but it did blend into the story nicely, adding to the story。 Overal a very quick read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤓 ʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴋᴇ:Quick read 🤓Hidden secrets Surprising plot twistsꜱʏɴᴏᴘꜱɪꜱ:𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘺 𝘍𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺’𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵。 𝘈𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘰𝘳, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘺𝘤𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘬𝘦。𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱。 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳—𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴—𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘰𝘮’𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴。 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴, 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘳。 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦, 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘷𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵, 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨。 。。。more

My first thoughts as I started this book were, “we’ve got another drunk and we’re gonna blame everything on substance abuse。” And then I kept comparing it to Rear Window and Woman in the Window and was prepared to give up on the book altogether。 Well, I couldn’t have been MORE wrong about my initial thoughts。 This was an insane story and the twist is one I never would’ve guessed。 I love when that happens!! Fans of Sager will be THRILLED over this new one!3。5 stars (rounded up) because it only go My first thoughts as I started this book were, “we’ve got another drunk and we’re gonna blame everything on substance abuse。” And then I kept comparing it to Rear Window and Woman in the Window and was prepared to give up on the book altogether。 Well, I couldn’t have been MORE wrong about my initial thoughts。 This was an insane story and the twist is one I never would’ve guessed。 I love when that happens!! 3,75/5 stars。Thanks to NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for the free digital copy in an exchange for an honest review!I’ve read every book Riley Sager has written and mostly adored them all。I went into The House Across the Lake not knowing much and not really knowing what to expect - his previous books truly prepared me for this。But I still didn’t expect this。 Like?? I love reading about unreliable narrators who spy on their neighbours and see something that they shouldn’t。 I really liked this one until the final twist。 It was fast paced and super interesting。 The ending was done well, it was just a little too far fetched for my liking。 Thank you Netgalley and Hodder and Stroughton for this arc in exchange for an honest review。

Thank you to NetGalley, Riley Sager and the publisher for proving me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review。I was gripped by this book from the beginning。 I loved the whole backstories of two of the characters being celebrities。 However, the plot twist near the end threw me off。 The more it went on, the more I accepted it, but it definitely confused things。 Overall I loved it though, would definitely recommend。

This is Sager’s 6th novel and so far I have enjoyed most of them。 He is extremely talented we all know this。 It’s just something about him and his style of writing。 It grips you。 This one however really disappointed me。 I have a few problems with it and I will list them below。 I hate bashing books。 I understand how hard they are to write, the time and effort that goes in and the fact they feel like a piece of the author themselves。 I also have to keep it real。 So here it goes…。The characters wer This is Sager’s 6th novel and so far I have enjoyed most of them。 He is extremely talented we all know this。 It’s just something about him and his style of writing。 It grips you。 This one however really disappointed me。 I have a few problems with it and I will list them below。 I hate bashing books。 I understand how hard they are to write, the time and effort that goes in and the fact they feel like a piece of the author themselves。 I also have to keep it real。 So here it goes…。The characters were extremely flat。 Usually Sager does a great job of making you feel for the narrator。 Not this time- Casey made reckless decisions, acted completely unrealistically and downright dumb。 You know in a scary movie when you are yelling “DON’T GO DOWN THERE” and they do…。。yeah。 In addition, how many times do we have to have the tired trope of alcoholic women。 Alcoholism is NOT a joke。 It is a serious disease and I am so sick and tired of it being used in thrillers to make the characters unreliable。 I saw somewhere he mentions Casey drinking something like 79 times?! Like…we get it dude。 Lastly, the entire novel read like a mash up of Women in the Window and other tired novels we have read before。 When I got to the “twists”, I literally laughed aloud。 Listen-Sager can write。 We all know that。 Will I not pick up his next novel?! No…I will。 I just wanted something more。 I know he can do better。 。。。more

THE HOUSE ACROSS THE LAKE was a winner for me in that sense。 That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars (I was debating between 3。5/4 stars)。 Sager does a great job using an unreliable narrator in his books, however, I wasn’t a huge fan of the female unreliable narrator also having a drinking problem, and using that to fuel people not believing her。 Has this trope been done before? Yes。 This book also has very similar “the woman in the window” vibes。 I did really like the setting of the book- I could vividly picture Lake Greene and the houses all around said lake。 I could picture each event that happened on the lake。 It really made me think of one of Sager’s previous books- The Last Time I Lied, and how, after reading that one, I was hesitant to go swimming in a lake for awhile! After finishing HAL, I have the same feeling- maybeeeeee I won’t go swimming in a lake anytime soon。Can we talk about the twist for a second? 🤯 That’s how I felt, but I also felt like, is this really believable? If someone explained to me what had happened to them (like in this story), I would be just like Casey, and not believe them at first。 But, the unbelievable aspect of the twist, is what makes this book stand out from Sager’s other books I think。 He hasn’t written a book (until this one) with this kind of twist。 I know Sager’s books have gotten VERY mixed reviews on here, so I will just say, if you have enjoyed his previous books, still read this one! It’s unique, but don’t let the “oh this has been done before” sway you。 I think most people will enjoy this one! 。。。more

Casey Fletcher was a successful film and Broadway star until her husband’s tragic death about a year ago, now she drowns her sorrow in endless glasses of bourbon or really any type of alcohol。 Her binge drinking led her getting fired from her recent Broadway production , and to make matters worse her picture of her downfall has been splashed all over the Internet。 Her mother, a Broadway star herself , has given Casey a choice she either enters rehab or spend time at their secluded lake house in Vermont on Lake Green, Casey chooses the lake house。 Drinking even more and finding her husbands binoculars she begins to watch her neighbors a famous couple a former model Katherine and her husband Tom a tech mogul。 One morning Casey sees a body floating on the lake。 She ends up saving Katherine from drowning, soon they become friends。 Casey becomes more and more convinced that something is not right with their marriage the more she watches them。When Katherine just leaves one day Casey knows something is off, especially without Katherine saying goodbye, Toms behavior becomes more and more suspicious and through her binoculars Casey begins her own investigation what’s really happening at the house across the lake? I have been a fan of Sager ever since buying and reading his earlier book, The Last Time Lied, while I was in Cambodia some years ago。 His Final Girls and Lock Every Door were also great。 I was less taken with Home Before Dark, but it was still a good read。The House Across The Lake revolves around Casey Fletcher, the daughter of a famous theatre actress and a successful actor in her own right until her husband’s death about a year ago。 His death set off months of binge drinking, which left her f I have been a fan of Sager ever since buying and reading his earlier book, The Last Time Lied, while I was in Cambodia some years ago。 His Final Girls and Lock Every Door were also great。 I was less taken with Home Before Dark, but it was still a good read。The House Across The Lake revolves around Casey Fletcher, the daughter of a famous theatre actress and a successful actor in her own right until her husband’s death about a year ago。 His death set off months of binge drinking, which left her fired from her last production and now hiding out at the family’s secluded lake house in Vermont。 Unfortunately the drinking has not stopped and Casey is quickly sinking into alcoholism, until she rescues her neighbour from across the lake, Katherine, from drowning。 Katherine is a former famous model who is now married to Tom, the owner of a tech company。 Curious about her neighbours, Casey takes to watching them through a pair of high powered binoculars, which leads to a startling discovery。The House Across The Lake is a modern take on Rear Window, which is frequently referenced in the book, but with some very unexpected twists。 The story goes down some very surprising paths and after a slowish start Sager ups the ante in the second half, as the twists flow in and the tension quickly mounts。 I thought I knew where the book was going, but I was totally off the mark。Sager writes well, and even though not a lot happens in the first half, he keeps the reader interested and the book moving along at a good pace。 Casey is initially an annoying character, and I got tired of her drinking, but as the story progresses she develops and her experience as an actor allows Sager to lighten the mood by seamlessly introducing the interesting movie and television references that are a feature of his books。I really enjoyed The House Across The Lake, although I suspect that others may not find the conclusion to their liking。See my full review and others at https://murdermayhemandlongdogs。com/s。。。 。。。more

I think this book was more like a 3。5, but there were a handful of things that I enjoyed that I feel okay bumping it up to a 4。 I love a messy main character, and while Casey isn't anything new or inventive in terms of the "I drink to deal with my trauma" character, her alcoholism does shape her into an unreliable narrator, which is my FAVORITE kind of narrator。 The book starts off heavily influenced by "Rear Window," and is even referenced in the book, so it's aware。 This spying on the neighbor I think this book was more like a 3。5, but there were a handful of things that I enjoyed that I feel okay bumping it up to a 4。 I love a messy main character, and while Casey isn't anything new or inventive in terms of the "I drink to deal with my trauma" character, her alcoholism does shape her into an unreliable narrator, which is my FAVORITE kind of narrator。 The book starts off heavily influenced by "Rear Window," and is even referenced in the book, so it's aware。 This spying on the neighbor plot is the overall encompassing theme, setting up the story and introducing all of the key players。 However, because this isn't a fresh take on anything, it did tend to drag occasionally。 But then about halfway through the book, it goes entirely off the rails。 Which I think is what's turning a lot of readers off from this novel。 While there IS a lead-up to the twist, it's done in such a subtle way that when this major turn takes place, it feels out of no where and is a bit jarring。 It changes the tone of the story and almost shifts it into a different genre。 That being said, I almost wish that this "twist" was the main focus of the story and the overall plot。 Because the spying on the neighbors / interpreting their actions as potentially nefarious has been done before。 Up until then, I was reading a story I'd read many times。 But when everything shifted, it felt like a new story--something I hadn't read--and I was super engaged。 This will not be a Sager book for everyone, and while it isn't my favorite of his, I did like it well-enough。 But I can also understand why others have read it and not enjoyed it。 。。。more

I don’t care if I’m in the minority here when I say I really enjoyed this book!A huge thanks to Netgalley, the author, and Dutton Books for an eARC in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

3。5 stars。 I don't know why I always forget about the teeny supernatural twist that always seems to come with Riley Sager's novels, but they sure get me every time!Casey is an actress who is hiding out at her lake house in Vermont, nursing her addiction to alcohol and seemingly grieving for her husband, who drowned on the very same lake。 While she is there, she starts to become extremely interested in her neighbors across the lake。 Watching Tom and Kathrine Royce is like real-life reality tv。 Bu 3。5 stars。 I don't know why I always forget about the teeny supernatural twist that always seems to come with Riley Sager's novels, but they sure get me every time!Casey is an actress who is hiding out at her lake house in Vermont, nursing her addiction to alcohol and seemingly grieving for her husband, who drowned on the very same lake。 While she is there, she starts to become extremely interested in her neighbors across the lake。 Watching Tom and Kathrine Royce is like real-life reality tv。 But Casey starts seeing some things she doesn't like。 And then Katherine disappears。 What is going on in the house across the lake?*Special thanks to NetGalley and Penguin Random House for an e-arc of this novel。* 。。。more

I was really excited to read this summer blockbuster horror by Riley Sager, but it felt a little wilted like all of my plants in this insane heatwave we are currently experiencing。 The first half of this book could quite literally be any of the "Gone Girl" esque books that have come out in the last decade。 It was so cookie cutter that I was worried I wasn't going to make it through the rest of the book。 While the plot did change to something different at the first twist the reader comes across, I was really excited to read this summer blockbuster horror by Riley Sager, but it felt a little wilted like all of my plants in this insane heatwave we are currently experiencing。 The first half of this book could quite literally be any of the "Gone Girl" esque books that have come out in the last decade。 It was so cookie cutter that I was worried I wasn't going to make it through the rest of the book。 While the plot did change to something different at the first twist the reader comes across, it wasn't enough for it to rise above three stars for me。 Neither were the other twists that beat us over the head in the last 50 pages of the book。 I am seriously so exhausted with having extremely unlikable female protagonists。 Can we think of a new way to present women please? We can solve problems and do bad things and be main characters without being so unlikable。 Sheesh。 I'm not going to discuss the twist (no spoilers here) but it felt sloppy and poorly done。 There was potential here。 Unfortunately, I feel like the mark was sorely missed。 Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Group Dutton for a copy of the eARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager starts off with a bang and barrels along until about 70%。 It, then, reached a twist that I felt was too contrived。 Sager made it work but I would have preferred another conclusion to this mystery。 What I did really enjoy was the characters。 They were multi-layered and fascinating。 The atmosphere was isolated and claustrophobic so if you are looking for a chill, this might be the book for you。

THE HOUSE ACROSS THE LAKE is Riley Sager's sixth thriller and yet again uses an unreliable female protagonist, but this time, she's got a drinking problem! -_- This book is my least favorite installment by the author and will be hit or miss with fans alike。 I can't really dive into the plot without giving away the twist/s (which I figured out pretty early on in some aspect) and the publisher is acting like this is the next great twist to come to mystery / thriller fiction novels。 That being said THE HOUSE ACROSS THE LAKE is Riley Sager's sixth thriller and yet again uses an unreliable female protagonist, but this time, she's got a drinking problem! -_- This book is my least favorite installment by the author and will be hit or miss with fans alike。 I can't really dive into the plot without giving away the twist/s (which I figured out pretty early on in some aspect) and the publisher is acting like this is the next great twist to come to mystery / thriller fiction novels。 That being said, the story focuses on Casey Fletcher, a widowed actress who has received criticism in the media by her behavior following her husband's death。 Casey is trying to live a reclusive life in rural Vermont at her family's house where she drinks away her grief, but after saving her supermodel neighbor Katherine from drowning, her life is forever changed。 Katherine and Casey forge a friendship where subtle clues about Katherine's marriage begin to worry Casey, especially after disappearing after a fight with her husband。 I have to give praise to the author for continually entertaining with his writing, because the book is actually really well written。 I just feel like this book, just like Survive the Night (which I really enjoyed) have been stories already told。 I can't deny that this book is fun and will entertain readers, and I will say that I appreciated the author's journey into a different kind of twist。 I will still read books by the author, but I would appreciate if the author chose to change the types of protagonists that he uses in these books。 。。。more

What a fantastic book! THE HOUSE ACROSS THE LAKE has been high on my anticipated reads list because I love all the stories from Riley Sager。 Each summer we get a new banger and 2022 is no different! There will be a few people out there who might see some of the following tropes in the genre and automatically roll their eyes: women with anxiety/grief, alcoholism & substance abuse, gaslighting, Hitchcockian, voyeurism, etc。 1) There is a reason those tropes make successful stories。 2) This is Rile What a fantastic book! Everything you think you know or can predict is going to get tossed in the air and whirled around over and over before landing。 You are in for the ride of your life with this one。 I loved the atmosphere and location。 I had a wonderful time with the POV of our main character。 I absolutely went bonkers for the twists and turns。 I actually read the final 30% with my head on my forehead, mouth agape, and unable to finish fast enough。 I LOVED IT!And for crying out loud, people。。。 stop spying on your neighbors so much, okay!? 。。。more

WOW! What a book。 This is the first I’ve read by this author and certainly won’t be the last。The story runs along at a good pace with lots of twists and turns, many I was not expecting。 It held my attention from start to finish and struggled to put it down。 This is a must edge of your seat read。Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review。 It was an absolute pleasure。

Just as I thought I had Riley Sager figured out, I was definitely wrong。 The guy can actually twist things around。 Tight and good。 This psychological thriller has everything that could possibly give me the chills。 The crazy minds in plotting, the hot neighbor that you thought you know better than to stay too close by, the famous couple that lives across whose lives were on full display, dead husbands, missing people, lies, deceit, secrets, drunkenness, alcohol reprieve, money, fame and revenge。 Give it a little mix with some sort of new touch as an icing to the cake from Riley Sager’s book of thriller recipe and you got yourself a mind blowing read! It is so hard not to give away the plot and spoil the entire thing。 However, here’s a clue。 If you did not like the last book he released(I know a lot of people who thought the same as I do) House Across the Lake is a fresh one! I devoured it fast and I love how everything turned out。。。So, which Riley Sager book is your favorite?。。。#thehouseacrossthelake #rileysager #rileysagerbooks #bookreview #booklovers #prhaudioinfluencer #bookstagram #bookstagramphilippines #bookishfeatures 。。。more
