Summary

In Book 3 of the hugely popular Cat Ninja series, small-time crooks, sidekicks, and the wannabe supervillains who made our heroes who they are all get a chance to tell their stories––and their stories are hilarious!

Cat Ninja: Wanted features Metro City's favorites and newcomers in tales that include a nearly cat-astrophic case of stolen identity, the not-so-villainous adventures of Master Hamster, and Adonis's first mission as one of the good guys。 Enjoy six stand-alone stories, plus a five-part Cat Ninja special miniseries!

The stories in Cat Ninja: Wanted teach readers that:
People (and villains!) can change
Everyone deserves a second chance
You don't need superpowers to be a hero!

The story was cute, it would have been cuter except the format was very irritating。 It was annoying that each book was a short chapter。 Why not bind them together and have one book and one complete story to read in 15 minutes, instead of 3 minute one chapter books? Every time we'd start to get comfortable, we'd have to go looking for the next chapter。 The story was cute, it would have been cuter except the format was very irritating。 It was annoying that each book was a short chapter。 Why not bind them together and have one book and one complete story to read in 15 minutes, instead of 3 minute one chapter books? Thank you NetGalley for this digital copy of Cat Ninja。 I added this to my Kindle for myself and my 8 year old。 Let me tell you he devoured this book。 He was giddy and ready to share during his last week of school so his teacher read it off his Kindle to the class。 A room of rising 3rd graders loved it and sent their appreciation for sharing。 Definitely one we will add to the library。

Cat Ninja is a series of stories in graphic novel form that follow Cat Ninja and his sidekick Master Hamster。 I hadn't read any previous Cat Ninja stories, and I think that would've helped。 They referenced things that had happened previously without giving any context, which made it confusing at times。 The illustrations are all beautiful though! My kids (at time of writing aged 9 and 6) LOVE Cat Ninja。 They've read all of the series' on Epic, so this was an action-packed re-read for them。Cat Ninja: Wanted opens with Cat Ninja being framed for a crime he didn't commit。 Full of supervillains and humour, this is a graphic novel for younger readers。 The artwork is in the style of the Marvel/DC comics, with lots of onomatopoeic "Thwaks" for good measure。 There are multiple stories within this book, and the kids will love them all。~Many thank My kids (at time of writing aged 9 and 6) LOVE Cat Ninja。 They've read all of the series' on Epic, so this was an action-packed re-read for them。Cat Ninja: Wanted opens with Cat Ninja being framed for a crime he didn't commit。 Full of supervillains and humour, this is a graphic novel for younger readers。 The artwork is in the style of the Marvel/DC comics, with lots of onomatopoeic "Thwaks" for good measure。 There are multiple stories within this book, and the kids will love them all。~Many thanks to Netgalley for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~ 。。。more

The third full-sized book in and it looks like we might be signing off on this crime-fighting critter。 The main story is pell-mell action, as Cat Ninja gets arrested for a crime wave, which kind of goes against all we know him for。 If it didn't have the obvious feel of wrapping up a trilogy, it has the final beat to suggest it was what we'd been building up to, and if it wasn't for all that there's the inclusion of a whole host of other one-shot type stories, from guest contributors galore。 To m The third full-sized book in and it looks like we might be signing off on this crime-fighting critter。 The main story is pell-mell action, as Cat Ninja gets arrested for a crime wave, which kind of goes against all we know him for。 If it didn't have the obvious feel of wrapping up a trilogy, it has the final beat to suggest it was what we'd been building up to, and if it wasn't for all that there's the inclusion of a whole host of other one-shot type stories, from guest contributors galore。 To my tastes, this wasn't the best way to finish – the verbosity of the main story a bit too much, and the quality of the extras not exactly as fine as their variety。 But it never pretended to be anything other than briskly-read candy-coloured capers, and that's what we get, meaning the target audience will be happy。 I may be heavily mistaken and the franchise might outlive me, but there are the first signs of it being below par, and either way I would call this the best spot for me to depart the series。 。。。more

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review。This kept both of my kids' attention; we read it in one sitting。 Because it is multiple stories, it could easily be broken up into shorter readings。My son gave it two thumbs up (or really "a hundred-thousand-million thumbs up")。 It has fun stories, characters, and hijinks。 If you are reading it out loud to someone younger, it's fun to do different voices for the multiple characters - especially the Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review。This kept both of my kids' attention; we read it in one sitting。 Because it is multiple stories, it could easily be broken up into shorter readings。My son gave it two thumbs up (or really "a hundred-thousand-million thumbs up")。 It has fun stories, characters, and hijinks。 If you are reading it out loud to someone younger, it's fun to do different voices for the multiple characters - especially the villains。 It also mixes in vocabulary words for kids to learn。This was our first Cat Ninja book, but my son immediately asked for us to read more。It kept my kids engrossed without the gross-out humor that you see in some of the other popular graphic novels aimed at elementary/middle grade kids。 The grossest humor here is a bean villain that visits the ER when his attempt to gas a town backfires, but words like "fart" aren't used here。 The humor in that situation is more the puns around a gassy bean than the actual acting of passing gas。My kids loved the book and would definitely recommend it。 。。。more
