This is 1 of my favorite book series of all time & it’s really nice to have all the ebooks in 1 collection。 My only complaint is that the 4 extra “Meeting Thomas Cresswell” chapters from the mass market copy of “Stalking Jack The Ripper” are not included in the collection。

Truly a phenomenal series。 The author did a remarkable job of seamlessly intertwining historical facts and events with her fiction characters。 It’s both dark and warm, deep and refreshingly light。 A great read throughout。

“Beyond life, beyond death…my love for thee is eternal” No puedo creer cuánto tarde en empezar con estos libros, porque ¡AUDREY ROSE! ¡THOMAS CRESSWELL! Personajes fantásticos, ambientación, historia… Valen la pena totalmente <3

Short review on the series:Stalking Jack the Ripper is a four-book mystery series that follows Audrey Rose Wadsworth, a daughter of a Lord in 1888 London, who loves forensic science。 As she teamed up with her intelligent yet annoying classmate, Thomas Cresswell, to solve murder cases, they embark on a thrilling journey that promises chaos, death, and love。 This is my first mystery series and I think it’s great for introducing readers to the genre。 It’s a bit spooky but not too scary, with sweet Short review on the series:Stalking Jack the Ripper is a four-book mystery series that follows Audrey Rose Wadsworth, a daughter of a Lord in 1888 London, who loves forensic science。 As she teamed up with her intelligent yet annoying classmate, Thomas Cresswell, to solve murder cases, they embark on a thrilling journey that promises chaos, death, and love。 This is my first mystery series and I think it’s great for introducing readers to the genre。 It’s a bit spooky but not too scary, with sweet romance and the right amount of thrill that keeps you turning the pages。 I also love how openly this series addresses the issue of death。 Through the horror of those innocent deaths, it reminds us how precious and special every life is and what it means to truly live。 The growth of both MCs throughout the series is also very inspiring。 Stalking Jack the Ripper series will always have a special place in my heart。 I highly recommend it。 Read my spoiler-free reviews on each book here: Stalking Jack the Ripper—4 stars Hunting Prince Dracula—4。5 stars Escaping from Houdini—3。5 stars Becoming the Dark Prince (novella)—5 stars Capturing the Devil—4。5 starsReview on this ebook bundle:I’m totally in love with this ebook bundle! I grabbed this bundle at a great kindle deal and I’m so glad I did。 I love how you can literary read this series back to back。 (I have to find ridiculous reasons to stop reading lol) The formatting is tidy and consistent, so it’s pretty easy to read。 Being able to access all my highlights and bookmarks without switching from book to book is another great bonus, which is so handy for reading a mystery series。 One thing you ought to know (which I didn’t know) before buying this bundle is that this edition doesn’t include any bonus contents。 What are the bonus contents? For book 1, there is a novella, Meeting Thomas Cresswell, that can be found in paperbacks and certain ebooks (but not in this one) which you can buy on kindle。 The same goes for book 2, with letters between Thomas Cresswell (the male MC in the series) and his sister。 As for book 3, as far as I know, it’s only available in some exclusive physical copies。 So, if you tend to be emotionally invested in MCs, you would probably want to read those bonus content very much。 You might want to consider buying all the novella and ebooks separately (be sure they include the bonus!), or you can buy the paperbacks afterward, as I did。 。。。more

Review of the Stalking Jack the Ripper Series By Kerri ManiscalcoSlight spoiler warnings:The First Book:The first book of the series is easily one of my favorite books of all time and I have read it multiple times now。 The story takes place in Victorian London and follows Audrey Rose, a girl who is studying to become a medical examiner who does autopsies under her uncle。 She meets a boy, Thomas, through a medical class she took from her uncle and the two of them join together to solve the case o Review of the Stalking Jack the Ripper Series By Kerri ManiscalcoSlight spoiler warnings:The First Book:The first book of the series is easily one of my favorite books of all time and I have read it multiple times now。 The story takes place in Victorian London and follows Audrey Rose, a girl who is studying to become a medical examiner who does autopsies under her uncle。 She meets a boy, Thomas, through a medical class she took from her uncle and the two of them join together to solve the case of the serial killer running around London。 I believe that Audrey Rose and Thomas’ relationship is one of the best I’ve ever read。 It is probably the reason I enjoy the series so much。 Their interactions feel very real yet entertaining and Thomas is genuinely funny and interesting。 Audrey Rose isn’t the most interesting character I’ve read, but she was very well written and had a few unique personality traits that I enjoyed。 The murder mystery itself wasn’t terrible, but I definitely stuck through the book because of the character interactions。 I couldn’t say whether the mystery was well written or not as I had the book spoiled to me in the beginning。 The Second Book:tThe second book started out on a bad note for me。 Due to previous events of the last book, the main character was now traumatized and was constantly second guessing herself。 The character's PTSD was fairly well written but I was annoyed with the character’s hesitance to do anything。 The story takes place in a competitive medical school where Thomas and Audrey Rose are sent to study。 When one of their classmates is found dead, Thomas and Audrey Rose set out to find his killer。 This book was composed incredibly well but I was able to guess the murderer about halfway through the book。 The characters, other than Audrey Rose, stayed virtually the same and the interactions between all the characters were as good as ever。 One especially interesting part of the book I found was to be Thomas’ sister, who had a girlfriend in the book。 The representation that was added into the book was refreshing to see and the author didn’t use the excuse of the time period to not add it。 His sister was a side character but we were able to see her and her girlfriend a little more in future books。 The Third Book:tFrankly, this is where I think I started to dislike the series。 The book takes place on a boat to America with Audrey Rose, her uncle, and Thomas。 There was a murder taking place every night on the boat and Audrey Rose’s uncle, a prominent doctor and figure, was hired to solve the case。 This case had the most interesting killer with a complicated, heart-wrenching story to go along with them。 The reason why I really disliked this book compared to the first two was because of the romance。 Granted, I still enjoyed the conversations between Thomas and Audrey Rose, but the two had gotten together at the end of the previous book。 This wouldn’t have been a problem for me; however, the author decided to add in a love triangle。 Watching Rose genuinely think about breaking up with Thomas to be with a man she’s known for a few days was painful, and made me want to throw the book across the room。 However, I think it was my favorite murder mystery and I wasn’t able to guess the murderer。 The Last Book:tCapturing the Devil was one of the worst books I’ve ever read。 The reason for why I loved all these books was immediately taken away when the author decided to start off the book with a wedding。 The main characters of the book, who were getting married, were seventeen and eighteen。 They actually didn’t end up getting married, which started the main conflict of the book。 If the wedding was a small thing, or just kind of pushed to the side, I wouldn’t have minded it。 However, the wedding was the center of the book, along with Thomas and Audrey Rose's entire relationship。 I had always greatly appreciated the book series for not focusing on the romance aspect of the characters too much, and instead deciding to pour more pages into the murders and mystery of the book。 However, if I had read this book without reading the first three books, I would say it was a romance novel with a poorly written murder plot in the backround。 The murders and killer might have been more interesting if the book actually decided to focus on it, but instead I had to sit through chapters of Thomas and Audrey Rose struggling through their relationship just so I could read about Audrey Rose throwing herself into dangerous situations with no caution for her life。 This would have been fine if it wasn’t completely out of character for her。 She was always labeled as a smart level headed girl, but this book decided to throw that out the window with the murder mystery plot。 The book ends with a climatic scene where Audrey has to fight off the murderer in his basement。 The scene was alright, but I was disappointed that the main character didn’t die。 I think that if she did, I would have enjoyed the book a lot more, as it would make me feel an emotion other than disgust at what the series turned into。 The main characters did get married at the end, but I think a sad ending would have been more fitting to the series as the happy ending felt empty and disappointing。Please take everything I say with a grain of salt, I'm usually very harsh on books, despite everything this series is a definite recommend! 。。。more

I absolutely loved it。 One of my favorite series of all time。 The balance between an extremely interesting investigation and a beautiful romance is perfect。 The only thing to criticize is that it ends。
