We have read every single published Dragon Masters book - except this one。 I don't exactly know why I was like "meh, don't need that one" when my kids are so clearly into all of the other books, but I think I just didn't think they would care about a non-story book。 I was wrong。 This book is like a color illustrated guide to the World of Dragon Masters。 It's got everyone from Rise of the Earth Dragon to The Land of the Spring Dragon: A Branches Book and hints about the next 5 books (Future of th We have read every single published Dragon Masters book - except this one。 I don't exactly know why I was like "meh, don't need that one" when my kids are so clearly into all of the other books, but I think I just didn't think they would care about a non-story book。 I was wrong。 This book is like a color illustrated guide to the World of Dragon Masters。 It's got everyone from Rise of the Earth Dragon to The Land of the Spring Dragon: A Branches Book and hints about the next 5 books (Future of the Time Dragon: A Branches Book, Call of the Sound Dragon: A Branches Book, Fortress of the Stone Dragon: A Branches Book, Heat of the Lava Dragon: A Branches Book, Wave of the Sea Dragon: A Branches Book, and Howl of the Wind Dragon: A Branches Book (Dragon Masters #20))。 Most of the illustrations are from the previous books, just in splendid color, but there are a bunch of original illustrations too。 Also there are a bunch of fun facts about all of the Dragon Masters' (like their families! We actually don't know a ton about their families from the books) and even about the dragons。 I think my kids could literally (and probably will) spend HOURS pouring over this book, giving it their undivided attention, and just generally emerging themselves in one of their favorite series in a new way。 Such a wonderful companion to the series。 Highly recommend。 。。。more

This is basically a little encyclopedia all about the dragon masters and their dragons。 This goes up to the spring dragon (book 14)。 We've only read up to book 3, so there are many new characters and dragons that we don't know about yet。 There were a few little spoilers or things it spilled the beans on a little。 Hopefully we forget all those by the time we get to those parts。 :) I enjoyed the colorful illustrations in the ebook version。 We don't get that in the hard copy regular books we've bee This is basically a little encyclopedia all about the dragon masters and their dragons。 This goes up to the spring dragon (book 14)。 We've only read up to book 3, so there are many new characters and dragons that we don't know about yet。 There were a few little spoilers or things it spilled the beans on a little。 Hopefully we forget all those by the time we get to those parts。 :) I enjoyed the colorful illustrations in the ebook version。 We don't get that in the hard copy regular books we've been reading in the series。 。。。more

Over the last four years I have read books in this series a total of 26 times。 There are currently 17 volumes published in the series, and three more announced。 This is currently the only Special edition that is not part of the numbered series。 A few years ago, I read the first 8 volumes with my son and youngest daughter。 This year she has read all of the available volumes to me。 We also found out that my brother’s boys have been reading them also, and that they are favorites in their family as Over the last four years I have read books in this series a total of 26 times。 There are currently 17 volumes published in the series, and three more announced。 This is currently the only Special edition that is not part of the numbered series。 A few years ago, I read the first 8 volumes with my son and youngest daughter。 This year she has read all of the available volumes to me。 We also found out that my brother’s boys have been reading them also, and that they are favorites in their family as well。 This summer when the kids were together for a week at each others house, we found out they were 1 book ahead of us。 They were reading the physical books and we were reading the eBooks。 This was the first one my daughter really wants in physical book, and I can understand why。 Full page illustrations on ever page, and full color。 It is a wonderful addition to the Dragon Masters Series, and fantastic history of Dragons, Dragon Masters and Dragon lore。 Now this volume is twice the length of most of the other Dragon Masters volumes。 It packs in a lot of information and some amazing illustrations。 Some of the information in this volume can be gleamed from the other books in the series, but much of it is new information。 Including history, maps, legends, and more。 The main sections in the volume are:Wizard Griffith of the Green FieldsWizard Diego of the Sandy ShoresWizard Hulda of the Icy PlainsMagical Objects and ToolsRuler King Roland the BoldRuler Queen Rose the JustThe Kingdom of BrackenKing Roland’s CastleThe Dragon UndercroftKing Roland’s Quest for DragonsDragon StonesThe Prime StoneA History of Dragon MastersHow to Care for Your DragonDragon Master Drake GeorgeThe Farmers VillageDragon Worm the Earth DragonDragon Master Rori SmithThe Crafters VillageDragon Vulcan the Fire DragonDragon Master Bo YinRuler Emperor SongDragon She the Water DragonDragon Master Ana GamalThe Land of PyramidsDragon Kepri the Sun DragonDragon Master Heru Al-TarekDragon Wati the Moon DragonDragon Master Petra MarisThe Southern LandsDragon Zera the Poison DragonDragon Master Carlos AlmoThe Land of AragonDragon Lalo the Lightening DragonBaby DragonsDragon Master Mina of the Far NorthThe Far North LandsDragon Frost the Ice DragonDragon Master Obi OkiroThe Kingdom of IfriDragon Dayo the Rainbow DragonThe Legend of the NagaDragon Master Jean ArcandThe Land of GalliaDragon Argent the Silver DragonDragon Master Darma LiThe Land of SurvanaDragon Hema the Gold DragonDragon Master’s Uri and ZeldaThe Temple of the NagaDragon the NagaDragon Master Breen HaniganInis BanbaThe Fairy World of Inis BanbaDragon Fallyn the Spring DragonNature DragonsDragon Mage Eko IharaDragon Neru the Thunder DragonBecoming a Dragon MageHere ye! My 7 year old is a huge fan of the Dragon Masters books and so I bought this companion for him。 He absolutely loves it。 It gives details on the background of each dragon master and their dragon。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I love it because it tells the weight and length of the dragons

{My thoughts} – This is a really fun book to have。 I like to think of it as a reference book about the Dragon Masters Series。 You can find so much information within the pages。 There is stuff about all the the characters that we have learned about so far within the series。 There is stuff about many of the places we have visited within the series。 There is stuff about all the dragons we have encountered so far within the series as well。I really like books like this, because it gives you the oppor {My thoughts} – This is a really fun book to have。 I like to think of it as a reference book about the Dragon Masters Series。 You can find so much information within the pages。 There is stuff about all the the characters that we have learned about so far within the series。 There is stuff about many of the places we have visited within the series。 There is stuff about all the dragons we have encountered so far within the series as well。I really like books like this, because it gives you the opportunity to learn more about the world in which the series is written。 Books such as this one help to keep children engaged in the series。 I can’t wait until the next book in the series is released because this is by far one of my favorite Branches series! If your wanting to learn more about the Dragon Masters, their kingdoms, and the world around them。 This is for sure the best book you can get。 It’s a fun book to page through and read and it helps to answer many questions you might have about the series, at least it answered a number of questions I’d had。 I look forward to reading more books in this series in the near future。 。。。more
