I wish I would have read this before I knew what a doucher Joss Whedon turned out to be， because he’s great at writing characters。 It’s not wonder why Marvel Studios hired him to write and direct the Avengers movie。 He’s notorious for snappy dialogue， which can be obnoxious at times， but it’s not too bad here。

X-Men are definitely my favourite Marvel property。 For me， the characters are more fully realised， the writing generally a lot better and the issues raised far more important and consequential。 I have plenty of X-Men comics to read now， thanks to my partners collection， and I will definitely be reading more ASAP。

Great story & fantastic art。 Dialogue between characters really had me chuckling。 Even with most of my favorites absent， this was still so entertaining。 X-men has had a place in my heart since I was a kid， but Joss Whedon took it to another level with this series。 Absolutely loved it！ Definitely going to be picking up more to read。I had no idea when I bought a Kindle a few weeks ago that I would be getting into graphic novels; they are like a perfect match！
