Simple。 Yet cute。A very fast, but nice wrap up。 It really was an adorable story about teachers falling in love with some spice added in。

A wholesome story about two women in loveMan I loved this series。 Volume 1 built up to 4 and it’s just wholesome cuteness。 I truly adored the two main women who not only were kind and loving towards others but also just genuinely in love。 Also what was refreshing was getting everyone’s support。 It’s a kind of love to admire and strive for。 It was lovely and relaxing to read。

Saki and Asuka are, indeed, still dating as we come to this final volume。 But what does the future have in store for our loving couple? It’s time for school trips and all the stops to be pulled out one last time…This series。 Having a highly functioning lesbian couple who have no worries and love one another very much is a unique and important story worth telling。 It is also too twee for its own damn good (mostly)。Seriously, this reads like spun sugar rolled in frosting dipped in chocolate。 Your Saki and Asuka are, indeed, still dating as we come to this final volume。 But what does the future have in store for our loving couple? It’s time for school trips and all the stops to be pulled out one last time…This series。 Having a highly functioning lesbian couple who have no worries and love one another very much is a unique and important story worth telling。 It is also too twee for its own damn good (mostly)。Seriously, this reads like spun sugar rolled in frosting dipped in chocolate。 Your tolerance in this regard is definitely the tipping point for how much you love the series as a whole。 Everything is cute and happy and buoyant and nary a problem exists。The marriage proposal is very cute, great reveal at the end, and all the family stuff is pretty good (minus one incredibly ridiculous moment of contention that threatens the peace for roughly two minutes)。 I’d love to know where precisely they held that wedding though。As has always been the case, this story has no meat to it。 It’s just a couple being a couple and going about their days。 There’s nothing they can’t overcome, but the problem is that there’s nothing TO overcome。 I mean, schmaltz doesn’t even begin to cover it。So things just happens and everybody is happy and cute and there’s a chuckle here and there and then the night of the wedding this does the series’ usual tonal whiplash where the two of them get incredibly explicit。 Yeah, we get both sides of the relationship coin, but this part always feels a little at odds with its more wholesome streak that makes up most of its page count。 The way the two aspects of their lives exist in the manga feels like a piece of bread smeared with peanut butter next to a piece with jelly on it。 Separately, two good things, but imagine if the two were combined and made into a satisfying whole。Still, I think the entire series might well have been worthwhile just for the author’s notes at the end, which had a little surprise waiting that, all probability aside, is much sweeter than the story itself ever was。 Just goes to show that something a little more realistic can work a lot better。This would be a lot easier to recommend if we weren’t awash in high quality yuri series right now。 Even this older couple dynamic is being done so much better in Doughnuts Under A Crescent Moon and the superlative Even Though We’re Adults。3。5 stars - I’ll round up since I’m no ogre, and in the end this is a sweet series that does have an important statement to make about its characters being happy。 Plus, normalizing their romance is no bad thing in my books。 Whether it leaves any lasting impact beyond my insulin levels, however, is a much trickier thing to determine。 。。。more

That final volume is a happy ending (unsurprisingly) but it's very sappy and a bit tacky (wedding wise)。 Overall a sweet and fluffy fic that felt more original at the start。 That final volume is a happy ending (unsurprisingly) but it's very sappy and a bit tacky (wedding wise)。 Overall a sweet and fluffy fic that felt more original at the start。 。。。more

'Our Teachers Are Dating' wraps up with with a volume full of love! We get a class trip, a proposal, two different family meetings and a gorgeous wedding; it's a good place for the story to finish up, but I'm a bit sad to be done with it now。 I need to find more romance manga with adults in it。 'Our Teachers Are Dating' wraps up with with a volume full of love!
