3。5/5 starsI loved Taylor and Myles's dynamic and really enjoyed them together。 I'm always a sucker for a good grumpy/sunshine pairing and this delivered。 I found the waffling as to whether they could or couldn't make a relationship work to be a bit much and at a point felt like yelling "just get on with it" at Myles。 This isn't quite a novella but doesn't totally read as a full-fledged novel either--it kind of falls somewhere in the middle， and I definitely did find myself wishing certain parts 3。5/5 starsI loved Taylor and Myles's dynamic and really enjoyed them together。 I'm always a sucker for a good grumpy/sunshine pairing and this delivered。 I found the waffling as to whether they could or couldn't make a relationship work to be a bit much and at a point felt like yelling "just get on with it" at Myles。 This isn't quite a novella but doesn't totally read as a full-fledged novel either--it kind of falls somewhere in the middle， and I definitely did find myself wishing certain parts had been a bit more fleshed out （such as his past and his coming to terms with wanting to be in a relationship and such）。I probably would've rated this book closer to 3 stars were it not for the ending which absolutely sold me。 I adored it。 And this book had me laughing out loud more than once， but especially at the end。 I received a review copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️。5 *I was generously provided an ARC by Tessa Bailey in exchange for an honest review* Tessa Bailey has lived up to the high standards I have come to expect from her books。 She delivers on everything you can expect from an extra spicy romcom， and in this case， she has added suspense and intrigue into the mix too。 I loved that My Killer Vacation is completely different from her previous books。 The ‘summer-fling’ context here prevents a slow burn from being realistic， yet she is still able ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️。5 *I was generously provided an ARC by Tessa Bailey in exchange for an honest review* Tessa Bailey has lived up to the high standards I have come to expect from her books。 She delivers on everything you can expect from an extra spicy romcom， and in this case， she has added suspense and intrigue into the mix too。 I loved that My Killer Vacation is completely different from her previous books。 The ‘summer-fling’ context here prevents a slow burn from being realistic， yet she is still able to build the tension between Myles and Taylor so effectively。 The opposites-attract trope is so well balanced between an antagonistic， overprotective， possessive bounty hunter and the idealistic 2nd grade teacher who is curious and seeking sexual fulfilment from someone who won’t hold back with her。 But despite their instant attraction to each other which they both internally deny， their hilarious bickering leads to insane tension and some incredibly hot scenes。Despite the murder-mystery and spice being the drive of this novel， My Killer Vacation does still deliver on elements of romance and a Happily Ever After。 Tessa Bailey’s humorous writing style delivers copious amounts of laugh-out-loud dialogue and events to make this a thoroughly entertaining read。 *Content Warnings: My Killer Vacation contains explicit， mature content and addresses a variety of sexual preferences including mild exhibitionism， as well as criminal events （murder， assault） and mention of PTSD。 。。。more

Tessa Bailey can write just about anything and I’m going to read it without even knowing the premise， but this one is my catnip; funny， suspenseful， and super steamy！ As an added bonus it’s set in Cape Cod and there is nothing quite like a summer spent on the New England coast。 Since I’m not physically there I love being able to escape there by reading！Taylor and Myles are perfect individually and even more perfect together！ I feel like maybe I wasn’t supposed to like Myles in the beginning and Tessa Bailey can write just about anything and I’m going to read it without even knowing the premise， but this one is my catnip; funny， suspenseful， and super steamy！ As an added bonus it’s set in Cape Cod and there is nothing quite like a summer spent on the New England coast。 Since I’m not physically there I love being able to escape there by reading！Taylor and Myles are perfect individually and even more perfect together！ I feel like maybe I wasn’t supposed to like Myles in the beginning and he’s the kind of character that is supposed to grow on someone， but for me I loved all his grumpiness from the very beginning and could tell that there was so much more too him！ Taylor is so funny， cute， and full of sass and sunshine。 Her relationship with her brother is the sweetest and I could definitely relate to their relationship。 Tessa Bailey always comes through with the 🔥 parts， but I’m sure the instant chemistry between these two made it easy！This book is relatively light as far as angst goes， and the suspense （regarding a murder） is the perfect amount in my opinion as it’s nothing too graphic but just enough to keep me on the edge of my seat and not able to put the book down。 I’ll just be here wishing there was an entire series of Miles and Taylor solving mysteries because I don’t want to let them go！ 。。。more
