I would give it a 3。5 but it was too Hallmark, classic rom com for me。 It didn’t really feel like there was a lot of depth to the book and was pretty cliche, but all in all, it was easy read and enjoyable。

Recommend! It was a quick and funny read。 It was a romance without a lot of descriptive "spicy" scenes。 It bounced between Olivia and Colin's POV but was done so it flowed well。 It was predictable, not gonna lie but romance is hard to not be predictable because we all know it always ends in a happy ever after。 Recommend! Totally loved it! Hilarious and entertaining story。 The plot is very predictable but it is very enjoyable even though the main character might be annoying sometimes。

2。5 stars Not gonna lie you had me in the first half。The banter was great。 The tension was palpable。 The leads were interesting enough。HOWEVER。The conflict。 THE CONFLICT。 So basically Colin and Olivia have been developing an anonymous texting relationship, Colin finds out it's her (his best friend's little sister who he's found annoying his entire life) and then tries to ghost her, but then they fall for each other in real life。 If you picked up a book with a hot pink cover called "Mr。Wrong Num 2。5 stars Not gonna lie you had me in the first half。The banter was great。 The tension was palpable。 The leads were interesting enough。HOWEVER。The conflict。 THE CONFLICT。 So basically Colin and Olivia have been developing an anonymous texting relationship, Colin finds out it's her (his best friend's little sister who he's found annoying his entire life) and then tries to ghost her, but then they fall for each other in real life。 If you picked up a book with a hot pink cover called "Mr。Wrong Number", then you know exactly how this story ends。 But it's how they get to the end that just derailed the entire thing for me。Everything Colin does is manipulative, maybe not intentionally so, but still manipulative。 He didn't tell her that he knew it was her but continues to occasionally text her when it's convenient for him。 He bribes someone to go in his place when she wants to meet her anonymous text friend in person。 He berates her the entire book。 Okay so we know she's going to find out and everything will hit the fan but eventually, she'll forgive him, but there isn't even a conversation about it。 Colin doesn't get a chance to explain himself and eventually goes into victim mode。 Olivia doesn't have any internal monologue about why she wants to forgive him, she just kind of flips a switch。 The epilogue was a waste of paper。 Usually, I eat these clearly toxic relationship tropes up because I'm a hopeless romantic just trying to live vicariously through the lead (and if you're reading this don't lie SO ARE YOU), but I think I've found。。。my limit? Woah。 Now THAT'S character development。 。。。more

*4。5。 my only criticism is that it wasn’t longer :(purchased this on kindle immediately after reading better than the movies and once again she did not disappoint!!! never in my life have I finished a book in one sitting before, but I couldn’t put this down。 the writing was so addictive and the characters have become some of my new favourites。 the premise was so strong and the actual plot itself exceeded my expectations。 lynn painter has a way of perfectly capturing what I love so much about rom *4。5。 my only criticism is that it wasn’t longer :(purchased this on kindle immediately after reading better than the movies and once again she did not disappoint!!! never in my life have I finished a book in one sitting before, but I couldn’t put this down。 the writing was so addictive and the characters have become some of my new favourites。 the premise was so strong and the actual plot itself exceeded my expectations。 lynn painter has a way of perfectly capturing what I love so much about rom-coms and I just know I’ll read anything and love what she releases in the future。 。。。more

I actually loved this book so incredibly much。 I love the ‘anonymous texting someone who turns out to be someone you’re kind of flirting with in real life’ trope and this book did not disappoint!! It was expertly written out and and the whole storyline truly felt believable。 I adored Olivia and Colin, their quick banter was perfect and the way they were each other’s opposites was just wonderful。 I would highly recommend this book!

This book felt like watching one of those classic 2000s rom-coms where you know what type of movie you're gonna see when you walk in and you get all giddy。 That was this book for me。 Look, it was super quick, pretty predictable, but when the climax happens you still act shocked because you're just having a great time。 I thought the characters were fun, I liked the plot, and though I was annoyed with Colin at times, I was still ultimately rooting for him。 Also, both of their parents were so annoy This book felt like watching one of those classic 2000s rom-coms where you know what type of movie you're gonna see when you walk in and you get all giddy。 That was this book for me。 Look, it was super quick, pretty predictable, but when the climax happens you still act shocked because you're just having a great time。 I thought the characters were fun, I liked the plot, and though I was annoyed with Colin at times, I was still ultimately rooting for him。 Also, both of their parents were so annoying to me like oh my gosh I was just wanted them to shut up。 I know Colin tried to stand up for Olivia at one of the family breakfast things and she didn't want that bc they were mad at each other, but I still wish there was more of a "stand-up-to-the-parents" type beat。 Also did we ever learn what her tattoo was? Anyway, really enjoyed the book, I wish the epilogue was like 2 years later instead of 2 weeks later, but I still thought it was cute。 Also I wish there was something with Eli/the ex coming back and some sort of resolution or Colin punching him or something。 I think I'm asking for too much LOL but no seriously it was a quick and fun read that I found to be enjoyable。 。。。more

Mr。 Wrong Number seems to have polarized reviews。 Luckily, I loved it。 The banter was incredibly witty。 The fiascos that Olivia got into were hilarious。 I had to stop reading this book after my husband fell asleep because I kept cracking up。 The very end wasn't my favorite, but it made sense。 I smiled almost the entire time reading this one。 Mr。 Wrong Number seems to have polarized reviews。 Luckily, I loved it。 The banter was incredibly witty。 The fiascos that Olivia got into were hilarious。 I had to stop reading this book after my husband fell asleep because I kept cracking up。 The very end wasn't my favorite, but it made sense。 I smiled almost the entire time reading this one。 。。。more
