I am reading this series of graphic novels to discuss them with my 8。5 yo grandson， who LOVES them。 Actually， despite the title of the series there are good lessons， #1 being don’t judge by outer appearances。 When we saw our grandsons last week， Dylan immediately said， “Nana， I have something for you。” He ran upstairs and came back with #’s 3&4 in the series。 He’s excited that I want to read with him。 What could be better for a nana who is a bibliophile！📚

I think the only reason this book is rated two is really because of how little writing there is， the story is okay the usual bad guys， who are really good defeating something。 There is some crude humor and a reference to heaven。 The main issue is there is so little too it。 The pictures are fairly engaging and the entire book is written from a what the heck is going to happen next。 Just wish there were some more words。
