Summary

In the waning days of World War Two， with the Allies advancing， a desperate Nazi officer unearths an ancient force of evil that he hopes will turn the tide of battle: a vampire。 To test the power of his secret weapon， he unleashes the monster on an unsuspecting group of Allied POWs。 It’s up to Nocona， a Comanche language expert， to communicate with the vampire to find out what it really wants。

Out isn’t groundbreaking or mind-blowing by any means， but it does show Rob Williams & Will Conrad work amazingly together as a comic-making duo。 This one follows Nocona， a Comanche language expert who is being held as a POW in a Nazi prisoner camp in the waning days of WWII。 The Americans are in the Ardennes and closing in， the allies have taken Ravenna， and the Russians have reached Budapest。 The German army’s chances of victory are looking slimmer each day， leading a desperate Nazi officer to Out isn’t groundbreaking or mind-blowing by any means， but it does show Rob Williams & Will Conrad work amazingly together as a comic-making duo。 This one follows Nocona， a Comanche language expert who is being held as a POW in a Nazi prisoner camp in the waning days of WWII。 The Americans are in the Ardennes and closing in， the allies have taken Ravenna， and the Russians have reached Budapest。 The German army’s chances of victory are looking slimmer each day， leading a desperate Nazi officer to unearth his only hope in turning the tide of the war: A Vampire。 It’s now up to Nocona to communicate with this vampire and find out exactly what it wants。The story itself is pretty samey， but I honestly had a pretty great time with this。 AWA puts out trade paperbacks for great prices （$9。99 for a trade of 5-6 issues， 14。99 for one of 8） and this is one of those books that makes me glad I trade wait all AWA titles。 The art by Will Conrad is amazing， especially the gore， while Rob William’s script does the story the justice it deserves。 There’s also a gay love story in here but I honestly found it pretty shallow and wish the writer had done more with it， but that’s honestly the only major complaint I had。 If you are looking for a decent horror book involving vampires and nazis， you can’t go wrong with Out。 。。。more

Really very well done Vampire， WW II Concentration camp horror story。 Lovingly drawn by Wil Conrad。 I cannot think of a single book released by AWA that I have not enjoyed。
