Summary

i absolutely ADORED this book。 this is my first jane austen book, and oh my goodness how i ADORE her writing! and i love her characters! how believable and endearing they are! even the hateful ones made me really shun them in contempt in my head 😂 the characters really shined in this book, and i love the journey so much。 10/5 shining ✨

This story and how it’s written, is not my personal taste。 I couldn’t get into the story because of the difficult way it’s written。 There’s no dept in the characters besides Elizabeth’s。 There are also too many characters that at the end I almost didn’t know who was who anymore。 The good part is that I liked Elizabeth’s strongheaded character。 The way she stood up for herself, gave the story (for me) something likable。

This is kind of my first time reading a classic book, one by Jane Austen- I think I might like them。。。One thing about this book for me : A person’s disposition

Pride and Prejudice⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is one of my fave movies, so it was about time to read the book! The writing was kind of hard to understand in the beginning, but I got used to it later on。 English is not my first language, so I expected as much。 Ugh, I love this book so, so much。 I want my own Mr。 Darcy though。。。

Good read

Initially my opinion was too wordy, with too many characters to remember。 About halfway through, I guess I got used to the way the sentences were worded, and I really enjoyed the rest of the book。

A Classic - But be careful of which kindle book you chooseThis is a great book。 Read it。Warning: There are several editions of Pride and Prejudice published by "Amazon" that are all exactly the same text that are frankly terrible。 They read as if translated from a foreign language by a bad computer translator and then not edited at all。 Frankly they are unintelligible。 Stick to the editions with positive ratings。 A Classic - But be careful of which kindle book you chooseThis is a great book。 Read it。Warning: There are several editions of Pride and Prejudice published by "Amazon" that are all exactly the same text that are frankly terrible。 They read as if translated from a foreign language by a bad computer translator and then not edited at all。 Frankly they are unintelligible。 Stick to the editions with positive ratings。 。。。more

This book was amazing。 Although it was just a collection of people walking to and from other people's homes, it was an awesome book。 The dialogue was a bit tedious to get through but the characterization and the old-school feminism more than makes up for it。 This book was amazing。 Although it was just a collection of people walking to and from other people's homes, it was an awesome book。 The dialogue was a bit tedious to get through but the characterization and the old-school feminism more than makes up for it。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 It was very nice to reread this classic literature book and it is one of my favourite books too。 I love the English literature language in this book and how sophisticated it is。 It is very different from the language we are currently using now in the modern day but before in the olden times it sounded posh and fancy - hence why I still like it。

2。5 stars ⭐️ I truly appreciate Jane Austen’s literature — her writing is IMPRESSIVE, but it’s just not for me。

It gets referenced enough, time to see if it was worth the hype

I had seen the movies many times but never read the book。

3。5/5A very enjoyable read。 It's hard to believe that this novel is over 200 years old。 The social posturing and obsession with status hasn't changed a bit。The constant formality did start to grate, but there were enough moments of hilarity that it was worth my time。 Elizabeth is a great protagonist and Mrs。 Bennett was so f***ing annoying, she's probably the biggest villain in the book。 I, like Mr。 Bennett, would have been tempted to find a deserted island on which to get stranded。 3。5/5A very enjoyable read。 It's hard to believe that this novel is over 200 years old。 The social posturing and obsession with status hasn't changed a bit。The constant formality did start to grate, but there were enough moments of hilarity that it was worth my time。 Elizabeth is a great protagonist and Mrs。 Bennett was so f***ing annoying, she's probably the biggest villain in the book。 I, like Mr。 Bennett, would have been tempted to find a deserted island on which to get stranded。 。。。more
