A good， funny story with terrific art。 Asterix， Obelix and Getafix head eastwards， to help a tribe of barbarian Amazons and their oddly familiar men。 Reading Asterix books as an adult， I realise half the appeal to me as a kid was that when translated the French wordplay and jokes seem rather surreal。

Leider der aus meiner Sicht wohl schlechteste Asterix。 Zwar ist die Grundidee mit Osteuropa als Schauplatz durchaus nicht schlecht。 Dennoch enttäuscht der Band auf ganzer Linie。Viele halbgare Witze die nicht wirklich witzig sind， für meinen Geschmack zu viele Selbstreferenzielle Momente die nicht fertig gedacht sind und eine Handlung die irgendwie durchschaubar ist und gleichzeitig zu nichts wirklichem führt。 Als Höhepunkt der Enttäuschung dann noch eine Piratenszene， nur damit eine Piratenszene Leider der aus meiner Sicht wohl schlechteste Asterix。 Zwar ist die Grundidee mit Osteuropa als Schauplatz durchaus nicht schlecht。 Dennoch enttäuscht der Band auf ganzer Linie。Viele halbgare Witze die nicht wirklich witzig sind， für meinen Geschmack zu viele Selbstreferenzielle Momente die nicht fertig gedacht sind und eine Handlung die irgendwie durchschaubar ist und gleichzeitig zu nichts wirklichem führt。 Als Höhepunkt der Enttäuschung dann noch eine Piratenszene， nur damit eine Piratenszene im Band erscheint。 Als einziger Lichtblick bleibt die Prämisse， dass Frauen- und Männerrolle im Besuchten Stamm umgekehrt sind。 Aber auch daraus wurde aus meiner Sicht etwas zu wenig gemacht。Fazit: Seit Goscinny und Uderzo keinerlei Anteil mehr an den Asterix Bänden mehr haben nimmt die Qualität meines Erachtens mit jedem Band ab。 Ob sich das Lesen des nächsten also überhaupt noch lohnt ist zu bezweifeln。 。。。more

Ich hatte schon länger keinen Asterix Band mehr gelesen （war früher regelrecht süchtig nach diesen！） und es war wieder mal eine schöne Ablenkung und Abwechslung für zwischendurch。 Leider konnte mich die Geschichte aber nicht so sehr begeistern， wie die Bücher sonst。 Es war alles nicht sehr spannend und auch zusammenhangslos。 2， 5 von 5 Sternen

The latest in the Asterix series。 I bought the American English translation version brought out by Papercut by mistake。 While the drawings were good， the script was not much。 Attempts at contemporizing the story （by bringing mentions of the pandemic into it） fail badly。

Nach langer Zeit wiedermal in ein Asterix Abenteuer reingeschaut。 Es hat sich trotz Autorenwechsel nicht viel getan， die armen Römersoldaten können einen immer noch leid tun。 Asterix Belehrungen betreffend den starken Frauen fand ich befremdend， aber ansonsten fand ich den Band noch recht witzig und gelungen。

Siempre disfruto con las aventuras de los irreductibles galos， aunque me da la sensación de que les falta un nose qué desde que nos falta Goscinny y más ahora que tampoco está la mano de Uderzo No es ni de lejos la mejor aventura de los héroes galos pero como siempre te saca la sonrisa。 Soy de las que de vez en cuando en momentos tontos saca un Asterix y se sigue riendo cada vez que Obelix intenta beber poción o salta una pelea entre pescatero y herrero。Siempre es buena idea leer un Asterix ！！

Gostei de ler mais uma aventura de Astérix， mesmo que não escrita e/ou desenhada pelos autores originais。 Na minha opinião， os álbuns elaborados por Jean-Yves Ferri e Didier Conrad são até melhores que aqueles elaborados apenas por Albert Uderzo （se calhar estou a dizer algo que soa a sacrilégio aos ouvidos dos fãs de Astérix， mas enfim， é a minha opinião）。Tendo sido a história elaborada durante o período de pandemia que vivemos em 2020-2021 e que ainda estamos a viver em 2022， há um ou outro pi Gostei de ler mais uma aventura de Astérix， mesmo que não escrita e/ou desenhada pelos autores originais。 Na minha opinião， os álbuns elaborados por Jean-Yves Ferri e Didier Conrad são até melhores que aqueles elaborados apenas por Albert Uderzo （se calhar estou a dizer algo que soa a sacrilégio aos ouvidos dos fãs de Astérix， mas enfim， é a minha opinião）。Tendo sido a história elaborada durante o período de pandemia que vivemos em 2020-2021 e que ainda estamos a viver em 2022， há um ou outro piscar de olho a isso。 Não é de estranhar， pois esses anacronismos sempre se fizeram sentir ao longo da série。 E， neste caso， estão muito bem diluídos na história。Resumindo， gostei bastante de ler este livro da saga de Astérix， ainda que haja uma ou outra piada que penso não terem resultado tão bem （os piratas que desta vez se safam de ver o seu barco afundado， a revelação final do que o grifo realmente é， o Cacofonix amarrado no fim sem razão aparente。。。）。 No entanto， sem dúvida que vale a pena ler este livro！ Se calhar， até mereceria 4 estrelas， mas aparentemente hoje não estou um mãos largas no que à avaliação dos livros diz respeito。。。 。。。more
