Summary

Another fart-tastic installment in the middle-grade adventure series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Aaron Reynolds and illustrator Cam Kendell。

The Great and Powerful Kevin has a new quest for our heroes…seek out another disgusting ingredient for his mysterious project。

High in the Frostflung Mountains lies the lair of a fearsome dragon named Glacierbane。 Pan, Moxie, Fart and TickTock must venture there and fish a dragon-digested object from deep within a pile of dragon doo。

But Pan isn’t having it。 She’s not sure why, but she doesn’t trust Kevin。 But when she learns of a kidnapped prince that needs rescuing from Glacierbane, suddenly this quest seems a whole lot more heroic。

Our young heroes will face their toughest challenges yet as they team up with a valiant knight, brave the air-islands of Frostflung, fight yetis and snow goblins, solve puzzles and riddles, face a dragon, and seek the poo they need。

Our whole family continues to enjoy these books!

My 8 year old is dying for the next one in the series。 I liked the characters a lot and the spoonicorn was our favorite addition。 My kids loved that I gave her an exaggerated valley girl accent while I read this aloud to them。

If you know an upper elementary schooler with an interest in reading a fast action story filled with fantasy and friendship and humor and some stomach-churning details, this is the book for them。 It's a wild read that they should enjoy。 (Nicely illustrated too。)I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review。 If you know an upper elementary schooler with an interest in reading a fast action story filled with fantasy and friendship and humor and some stomach-churning details, this is the book for them。 It's a wild read that they should enjoy。 (Nicely illustrated too。)I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review。 。。。more

My son and I read this book together and it had us cracking up with all of the glorious fart puns!!! Highly recommend for all fart joke loving kiddos!!! And the story itself was a fun adventure too that kept us saying, just one more chapter。

Aaron Reynolds has done it again。 I really enjoyed both Fart Quest and Barf of the Bedazzler, but I think this one was better than either of those。 I loved continuing to get to know Fart, Pan, and Moxie, and their relationship reached a new dynamic in this book with the entrance of Seraphim, the Knight of the Rose, with whom Pan and Moxie became immediately enamored。 I truly love that Reynolds introduces DND to kids in a fun and funny way and it’s fun to imagine that these characters were (perha Aaron Reynolds has done it again。 I really enjoyed both Fart Quest and Barf of the Bedazzler, but I think this one was better than either of those。 I loved continuing to get to know Fart, Pan, and Moxie, and their relationship reached a new dynamic in this book with the entrance of Seraphim, the Knight of the Rose, with whom Pan and Moxie became immediately enamored。 I truly love that Reynolds introduces DND to kids in a fun and funny way and it’s fun to imagine that these characters were (perhaps?) born from his own campaigns (no idea if this is true but I’m going to believe it until I hear otherwise)。 Of course, it was full of fart and poop jokes like the others, but it wouldn’t be Fart Quest without them, so I’ll tolerate them 😅I’m excited to see where the fourth book takes our adventurers and I can’t wait to see what Kevin is really up to。 。。。more

trigger warnings: death of parent mention, bullyingThis was such a fun book。 I'm a bit upset with myself for not looking up whether this was a series or not before reading this because now I'm done with the third book so all the stuff in the first two are just spoilt for me。I loved the camaraderie in this book, the value in friendship that the book emphasizes, and the general sense of found family。 The DnD vibes of this book also made this SOOO much fun to read。 The writing is hilarious and comf trigger warnings: death of parent mention, bullyingThis was such a fun book。 I'm a bit upset with myself for not looking up whether this was a series or not before reading this because now I'm done with the third book so all the stuff in the first two are just spoilt for me。I loved the camaraderie in this book, the value in friendship that the book emphasizes, and the general sense of found family。 The DnD vibes of this book also made this SOOO much fun to read。 The writing is hilarious and comforting and make this a fantastic comfort read for kids and adults alike。 。。。more

I received an electronic ARC from Macmillan Children's Publishing Group through NetGalley。Fart, Moxie and Pan are back for another adventure。 This time they need to find a third item for Kevin to complete whatever he is making。 Readers travel with them as they meet new friends and add to their quest group。 It's refreshing to see how the characters grow and share themselves。 Readers see the friends struggle and experience emotions and challenges they can relate with。 The humor continues to shine I received an electronic ARC from Macmillan Children's Publishing Group through NetGalley。Fart, Moxie and Pan are back for another adventure。 This time they need to find a third item for Kevin to complete whatever he is making。 Readers travel with them as they meet new friends and add to their quest group。 It's refreshing to see how the characters grow and share themselves。 Readers see the friends struggle and experience emotions and challenges they can relate with。 The humor continues to shine through with serious undertones。 The brief hint for book four will keep readers guessing about what is to come。 。。。more
