This ultimately just fell flat。 For how excited some people were over Moon Knight， I was simply not impressed。 We seemed to go from one random encounter to another just for things to progress at a glacier's pace。 These are all tertiary characters at best， with only brief cameos by anyone whose name would even matter in this universe。90% of the problem with this universe is the same problem people within this book seem to have， everything takes place in New York。 The only city that matters in the This ultimately just fell flat。 For how excited some people were over Moon Knight， I was simply not impressed。 We seemed to go from one random encounter to another just for things to progress at a glacier's pace。 These are all tertiary characters at best， with only brief cameos by anyone whose name would even matter in this universe。90% of the problem with this universe is the same problem people within this book seem to have， everything takes place in New York。 The only city that matters in the world is New York。 There have to be more costumed heroes in the area than regular citizens。Moon Knight is boring。 His level of crazy is seeing people who aren't there 。 。 。 it hardly affects him and only seems to happen when it is convenient for it to happen。 （view spoiler）[Even Echo's death at the end seems pointless and uninteresting。 Loss is generally always a good thing for characters and stories。 The stories need to matter in such a way that loss is important， and there should be enough stakes that it is realistic to lose someone， but her entire existence is unnecessary from the beginning。 She exists only to die for Moon Knight。 （hide spoiler）]Moon Knight's motivations are nonsensical， his bad guy's motivations are nonsensical， everything about this is 。 。 。 boring。Moon Knight dresses up as other people， and then proceeds to get his butt kicked。 He gets beaten up by strippers， beaten up by a man tied to a chair， gets beaten up by his girlfriend; he then goes toe-to-toe with a "world-class" villain who somehow battled the Avengers to a standstill？Whatever。 This story was dumb。 。。。more

Before reading this I knew nothing of Moon Knight other than he was based in L。A。 The dynamic of having other heros in his head was interesting and funny at parts。 The romance seems ham fisted in the story and the main villain is sort of lackluster but I enjoyed it。

I never heard of Moon Knight before， but what a lot of fun this was。 Moon Knight， a schizophrenic who sees has imaginary conversations with Captain America， Spider-Man， and Wolverine， is a great character， and so is his deaf girlfriend Echo。 The dialogue is spot-on， filled with wit and humor。 The art is also great。 Just excellent overall。
