The。 worst。 book。 I've。 ever。 read。It's a dude talking about his Lamborghinis and irreverently offering unusable advice that boils down to basically: don't rely on your 401k, start a web business or something。 There, saved you $20。Unless you don't want to miss gems like: "Your mortality makes time mathematically retarded for wealth creation。" The。 worst。 book。 I've。 ever。 read。It's a dude talking about his Lamborghinis and irreverently offering unusable advice that boils down to basically: don't rely on your 401k, start a web business or something。 There, saved you $20。Unless you don't want to miss gems like: "Your mortality makes time mathematically retarded for wealth creation。" 。。。more

Good book。 Makes you rethink the way you view life, money, and retirement。 A different viewpoint than what is typically suggested。 Got the gears spinning。However, it is just one viewpoint, and the author makes it sound like all other viewpoints are inferior。Some good takeaways。

This book is the book which comes complete Rich dad poor dad but in a deeper way。 It taught some concepts that I use in my daily life。 It really worth to be read。

Wow。 So。。。I have thoughts, but the first thing to say is that this book is *well* worth the read for any entrepreneur with dreams of more than a 401K (or a pension, for those of us who don't live in the US)。 The content is out of this world。 I felt like I was getting state secrets。 I can't believe M。J。 DeMarco actually took the time to write, package, and deliver this book in such a helpful way。 Wow wow。 I'm a little too much of a book nerd to allow a full five stars on content alone though。 Be Wow。 So。。。I have thoughts, but the first thing to say is that this book is *well* worth the read for any entrepreneur with dreams of more than a 401K (or a pension, for those of us who don't live in the US)。 The content is out of this world。 I felt like I was getting state secrets。 I can't believe M。J。 DeMarco actually took the time to write, package, and deliver this book in such a helpful way。 Wow wow。 I'm a little too much of a book nerd to allow a full five stars on content alone though。 Be prepared for mixed metaphors, mispronunciations (in the audiobook, which is how I read), grammatical errors, and similes that come out of nowhere and distract from the point。 On the other hand, he clearly says at the start of the book that he's writing as if he's sitting across the table from the reader at a coffee shop。 He's a well-read man and appreciates books, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and actually, the mistakes all support his point in and of themselves: fill a need, do what you can on your own, and only pull out your wallet when your own learning isn't the obstacle。 The grammar and his narration only got in my way for the first 5 minutes。 After that, I was so hooked on the content, I wouldn't have cared if he'd switched to Afrikaans。 I'd have google translated for a month to get the rest。 This book is polarizing。 Be prepared to feel attacked, offended, and a little eye-roll-y if you're not motivated by expensive cars。 (Imagine if a woman wrote a book about her wealth and framed the whole thing around designer handbags, assuming that everyone in her audience would be equally as excited to work with that metaphor for 350 pages。) But gosh darnit, the content is pure gold, and I know I'll be back to this book over and over again in the coming years, just to check in。 。。。more

This book talks about a mindset shift from being a consumer and 9-5er to being a producer and entrepreneur。 It has some useful information about the mental blocks we have with money。 However it is quite long and I was able to skim through some of the chapters。

Money doesn't buy happiness when it’s used for consumer pursuits destructive to freedom。 Whatever destroys your freedom will also destroy your wealth。 Sidewalkers can’t be happy because the consequence of instant gratification is the destruction of freedom, health, and choice, and thus happiness。 Money doesn't buy happiness when it’s used for consumer pursuits destructive to freedom。 Whatever destroys your freedom will also destroy your wealth。 Sidewalkers can’t be happy because the consequence of instant gratification is the destruction of freedom, health, and choice, and thus happiness。 。。。more

At first, it seemed like an ok book, but then the author started to pour manure on other authors like him。 It is interesting that they all had the same or similar thoughts about making money :-)。 Then MLM business was hit too, but according to the author, it is OK to be an MLM business owner :-D。 For me, it seemed that the author is incompetent in MLM business even he boasted that was involved in 4 different companies。。。 Moreover, the author despised other gurus about making money that is making At first, it seemed like an ok book, but then the author started to pour manure on other authors like him。 It is interesting that they all had the same or similar thoughts about making money :-)。 Then MLM business was hit too, but according to the author, it is OK to be an MLM business owner :-D。 For me, it seemed that the author is incompetent in MLM business even he boasted that was involved in 4 different companies。。。 Moreover, the author despised other gurus about making money that is making money from writing books (which is partly true), but come on, you are writing a book about making money and making money from selling it! I was struggling a lot to finish this book till the end because writing is not that good as the author jumps from one topic to another like there was no system。 It was hard to follow the course as there were a LOT of topics that did not go deep。 A mash of advices。 Kind of a motivation which is obvious that if you are in debt - do not take other loans for TV or other stuff than business, you will not get rich from just a job, and if you are not seeing eye to eye with your spouse。。。well。。。Another thing that the author despises law of attraction but from what he was writing, he really wanted to get rich, to buy a Lamborghini, to write a book and a nice house but only his hard work helped。 Well, the law of attraction does not tell you just to wish for something but to wish and do。 That was exactly what happened to the author! Thanks for letting me know that this law really works :-)There were things that I completely agree with the author that I have already found in other books too。 Like you have to learn a lot, that the time is your most valuable asset and you should not sell it for money, etc。 A lot of stuff mentioned in the book I have learned from MLM business and training。 What I have taken from this book are some quotes from other authors, the matrix about decision making。 。。。more

Incredible! This book overtakes Rich Dad Poor Dad as my favourite book on finance and business building。 DeMarco shows in pure layman and clear math how profitable ground up businesses are made。 1) Find a niche problem in the market - not serving YOUR NEED to be a BUISNESSMAN but providing a solution to the MARKETS NEEDS AS A BUISNESS MODEL。 2) Create a Brand - infuse your buisness with a mission, meme and relationship to your customer to inform loyalty and postivity resonance。 "Buisnesses survi Incredible! It's all how you meet a unique niche。 As someone who is between the SIDEWALK-SLOWLANE right now in life, this book has set me on a course to think about how I could create a online buisness to have a passive income but also put my creativity towards providing tangible solutions to people's needs。 Would recommend to all。 Starting UNSCRIPTED on audible rn。 。。。more

Although it's a decent book I doubt the advice will help me become a millionaire。 For starters, he recommends a scalable business that impacts 1 million people。 That I already have。 Yet, nothing! I'd say M。J。 just happened to open up a website company during the 2000's where WWW was coming up。 No wonder he made millions。 Now that so much information is available I reckon it's a lot tougher to earn that sum of money with those skills。 They are simply outdated。 They have become mass skills。 And wh Although it's a decent book I doubt the advice will help me become a millionaire。 For starters, he recommends a scalable business that impacts 1 million people。 That I already have。 Yet, nothing! I have read tons of books on money/investing/personal finance/wealth making。 This book does not add so much but you can still read it anyway。 Not all the chapters are good。 The writer bad mouthed few writers of his genre but repeated their teachings。 In summary, the gist is like this - "To make millions, you have to serve millions"。 Is it possible? This is a very good book。 The writer starts off by addressing everything concerning the term wealth。 He breaks it down and shows what it really consists off, taking a bird's eye of view。 Next, he describes a 'formula' for wealth, which are just guidelines that tackle the problems previously described on a logical and critical way。 The point is that he motivates you to take action, which is not only applicable to business in my opinion, and clears out fog that exists to get there。 This is a very good book。 The writer starts off by addressing everything concerning the term wealth。 He breaks it down and shows what it really consists off, taking a bird's eye of view。 Next, he describes a 'formula' for wealth, which are just guidelines that tackle the problems previously described on a logical and critical way。 The point is that he motivates you to take action, which is not only applicable to business in my opinion, and clears out fog that exists to get there。 。。。more

I have listened to the author’s second book (“Unscripted”) and found it quite arrogant (but fun)。 So I was surprised that THIS (the first popular book) is not even half as arrogant (but it is still fun) - so the author is holding himself back in this one :) I like the nicer version more。 I did not take much notes since it’s a beginners book to business, but I found myself agreeing on most of the ideas。 So if you are just starting out, then this book is quite a fun way to through all the details I have listened to the author’s second book (“Unscripted”) and found it quite arrogant (but fun)。 So I was surprised that THIS (the first popular book) is not even half as arrogant (but it is still fun) - so the author is holding himself back in this one :) I like the nicer version more。 I did not take much notes since it’s a beginners book to business, but I found myself agreeing on most of the ideas。 So if you are just starting out, then this book is quite a fun way to through all the details of getting to the millions。 Be a producer, not a consumer。 Take the wheel, don’t ride shotgun。 Take control and scale。 。。。more

Personally I feel like this book is a bit outdated。 Not in the way that these tactics are not successful in making people rich。 But out dated in the way that, now, most people would have a pretty good understanding of a lot of these concepts already。Say that, I would stop recommended this book to people。
