Summary

A team of scientists has sent a monkey into space! And good thing, too, because he's a mean, selfish, noisy, bullying little fur-bag。 But。。。 all does not go well with the flight, and Monkey's spaceship barely clears the first hilltop before crash-landing in a peaceful forest。 Monkey decides this is a new world and claims it for his own。 And his first decree is that all other animals should be banished! What follows is a series of hilarious, off-the-wall interactions between Monkey and the other forest animals。

Ok this is probably one of the best comics in the comic world。 Hilarious stories。The book contains multiple comics in one book。 Again, Truly Hilarious

Oh I haven’t chuckled this much in ages。 Bunny Vs Monkey is a graphic novel about the acrimonious relationship between a bunny and a monkey。 Monkey believes he has been sent to another planet to colonise the land。 Little does he know is that the scientists who sent him away didn’t quite reach outer space and his is in fact still on earth in the woods。 The relationship between Bunny and Monkey is brilliant。 It is like Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote yet they both have more elements of Wiley Coyote th Oh I haven’t chuckled this much in ages。 Bunny Vs Monkey is a graphic novel about the acrimonious relationship between a bunny and a monkey。 Monkey believes he has been sent to another planet to colonise the land。 Little does he know is that the scientists who sent him away didn’t quite reach outer space and his is in fact still on earth in the woods。 The relationship between Bunny and Monkey is brilliant。 It is like Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote yet they both have more elements of Wiley Coyote than anyone。 Along with a colourful cast of characters such as Pig, Weenie the Squirrel and Skunk and my personal favourite – Le Fox – this graphic novel is chock full of silliness and I, for one, salute the silliness。A brilliant distraction from life, Bunny vs Monkey is a must read for anyone who loves a good laugh。Bunny Vs Monkey Book One by Jamie Smart is available now, 。。。more

I was completely on board with this hilarious & cute graphic novel right up until Monkey said to Bunny, "You scream like a girl。" (Page 32 bottom right) & then Bunny skrieks on page 33 & Monkey responds, "Ha! Like a girl。" On the same page near the bottom Monkey is described as giving a, "girly screeeam!"At other points the word "sissy" is used & at another point character's genders are revealed as female。 I refuse to reread the whole thing to get page numbers & specifics on those last points。Al I was completely on board with this hilarious & cute graphic novel right up until Monkey said to Bunny, "You scream like a girl。" (Page 32 bottom right) & then Bunny skrieks on page 33 & Monkey responds, "Ha! I enjoy the artwork a lot! I think it’s so cute and expressive, and the art style is what drew me to the book。 The innocent-stupidity of Weenie and Pig is nice。 Even though this is titled Bunny vs Monkey, sometimes Bunny isn’t always actively fighting against Monkey。 He’s mostly the straight-man calling out Monkey’s arrogance/ignorance and trying to convince the other woodland creatures that Monkey’s no good。 I think younger kids would have a blast with this, but the jokes and story weren’t anyt I enjoy the artwork a lot! My eight year old son loves these books。 All three books are frenetic and funny, with great art and truly memorable characters。 We were able to find the first two in the series on Amazon, but oddly the third was only available from the Book Depository in London。 Good thing they have free shipping!

Bunny vs。 Monkey is more of a 3 1/2 star book for me, so I'm rounding it up。 The simple 2-page comic strip of a bunny who just wants his quiet forest back from the monkey who thinks he landed on a different planet wears it's influences on its sleeve。 The monkey reads like Invader Zim。 Bunnies two sidekicks sound like Gir。 And each strip is basically a Road Runner vs。 Wile E。 Coyote short。 I really enjoyed Smart's art but even for being such a short book, my adult mind started wandering towards t Bunny vs。 Monkey is more of a 3 1/2 star book for me, so I'm rounding it up。 The simple 2-page comic strip of a bunny who just wants his quiet forest back from the monkey who thinks he landed on a different planet wears it's influences on its sleeve。 The monkey reads like Invader Zim。 Bunnies two sidekicks sound like Gir。 And each strip is basically a Road Runner vs。 Wile E。 Coyote short。 I really enjoyed Smart's art but even for being such a short book, my adult mind started wandering towards the end since I was basically reading the same thing over and over again。But I am an adult。 Kids will laugh out loud at the jokes, just like we did as kids watching Road Runner or Tom and Jerry do the same thing over and over again every Saturday morning。 。。。more

This book is hilarious! It details the antics of a group of woodland critters led by Bunny in their attempts to foil the destructive plans of a genetically engineered monkey who thinks he is on an alien planet。

A new series for your graphic novel fans, especially elementary and middle grade fans。 Frenetic, colorful art featuring a band of woodland creatures whose peaceful existence is disturbed by a wayward monkey who thinks he has blasted into outer space。 Monkey crowns himself king and causes mayhem until bunny thwarts him。 Should appeal to fans of Bird and Squirrel。

This collection of cartoon strips highlights the battle between Monkey and Bunny as they wage war for the heart and soul of the forest。 Monkey was part of a failed space launch, and his craft barely goes past the first hill before crashing。 He's certain that he's landed in a new world and intends to bring it to its knees。 With help from his ally, Skunky, and Skunky's inventions, he wreaks havoc on the quiet forest。 What else can Bunny and his somewhat clueless friends, Weenie and Pig, do but fig This collection of cartoon strips highlights the battle between Monkey and Bunny as they wage war for the heart and soul of the forest。 Monkey was part of a failed space launch, and his craft barely goes past the first hill before crashing。 He's certain that he's landed in a new world and intends to bring it to its knees。 With help from his ally, Skunky, and Skunky's inventions, he wreaks havoc on the quiet forest。 What else can Bunny and his somewhat clueless friends, Weenie and Pig, do but fight back in their own quiet but determined ways? The comic strips are slyly humorous with a bit of an edge to them so they won't necessarily appeal to every reader。 My favorite parts were all those amazing creations from Skunky's fertile mind。 Too bad that Monkey doesn't appreciate his friendship! 。。。more

This looks like it should be a simple graphic novel as it looks similar to a TOON book。 The reality is each page is crammed with many cels and lots of text about Bunny, Monkey and their friends。

I really enjoyed this book。 It has a lot of humorous action。 Every chapter is a different story。 This is one of the best graphic novels I have read。

Unfortunately, I did not find this graphic novel to be enjoyable。 While I realize the title itself reads "Bunny vs。 Monkey" and indicates that there will be some kind of disagreement and fight between them, it appeared that all this graphic novel focused upon (other than causing trouble) was name calling and attempting to hurt each other。 ?Book-List Unfortunately, I did not find this graphic novel to be enjoyable。 While I realize the title itself reads "Bunny vs。 Monkey" and indicates that there will be some kind of disagreement and fight between them, it appeared that all this graphic novel focused upon (other than causing trouble) was name calling and attempting to hurt each other。 ?Book-List 。。。more

Quite a few reviews I read about Bunny vs。 Monkey referred to it as "quick and easy to read。" Maybe it's the adult coming out in me (Ugh! That's painful to say!) but while this graphic novel is short, it was much more difficult for me to read than a Babymouse or Bird & Squirrel。 There's so much going on in each frame and so many frames squished onto a frame that I found myself frustrated while trying to get through each little story。 I can understand the humor of it but the layout left me wantin Quite a few reviews I read about Bunny vs。 Monkey referred to it as "quick and easy to read。" Maybe it's the adult coming out in me (Ugh!
