I love Mrs Hinch, I’ve followed for such a long time now both on here and my personal insta, her stories are always first up on the top for me! I read her first book, Hinch Yourself Happy last year and enjoyed it, but I wanted to know more about her herself, and that’s exactly what she gave her hinchers in This Is Me。I loved hearing more about Sophie as opposed to Mrs Hinch, we’re quite close in age so it was so nice to hear about her childhood and teenage years and I found some of it quite rela I love Mrs Hinch, I’ve followed for such a long time now both on here and my personal insta, her stories are always first up on the top for me! She wrote a chapter on what it’s like behind the scenes of being an influencer, a social media presence such as herself。 It was so interesting to read and some of it was so shocking! What I loved most is the fact that I’ve read this a while after it was actually released。 In it she talked about future plans she has and her wishes for the future, and it was so lovely to read it knowing that she did it! She had her second child, she got her holiday in a motor home, she’s built a fabulous brand, and in a way she got her dream of being a radio star with her podcast。 That was just so heartwarming to read。Hinchers, this ones for you! 。。。more

I love Hinch but I do find her books very difficult to read! I enjoyed the book I think…。but I was glad to finish it if that makes sense!

I follow mrs hinch online and like her videos and think she seems a lovely person。 Whilst she’s not an author I think this book shines through as her personality, it’s interesting and relatable and she lets you know a bit about the behind the scenes being an influencer。 I really enjoyed this even tho lots has changed since the book came out。 I thought it was a nice book

I enjoyed reading this book。

Emma

Nice relaxing read and gives some insight into the lady behind the marigolds! You really get a sense of the real Sophie here and this is encouraged by an easy conversational writing style。

I quite enjoyed this, it was really interesting hearing about Sophie’s mental health struggles。 I actually listened to it whilst cleaning my own house! Some parts were quite repetitive though。 It could have been edited better。

Tracey

Easy read giving an Insight into Mrs hinch life and top tips。

I wasn’t sure I would like this as I hadn’t really followed Mrs Hinch but my cousin sent me the audio book as a gift so I gave it a go and I was pleasantly surprised。 Hearing about Sophie’s life and the things she has overcome and deals with was very inspiring。 I read this in a day, I couldn’t turn it off once I started。

I became aware of Mrs Hinch when I was on maternity leave with my eldest and enjoyed her stories。 I picked up Zoflora and Elbow Grease and every day my husband would come home to a new storage solution and sparkly room。 I didn't know much about the Mrs Hinch behind Mrs Hinch and thought that this book would cover the background but actually I felt that it was quite unfocused。 I thought it was going to be an autobiography telling the story of Sophie, and to be fair there were about 3 or 4 chapter I became aware of Mrs Hinch when I was on maternity leave with my eldest and enjoyed her stories。 I picked up Zoflora and Elbow Grease and every day my husband would come home to a new storage solution and sparkly room。 I didn't know much about the Mrs Hinch behind Mrs Hinch and thought that this book would cover the background but actually I felt that it was quite unfocused。 I thought it was going to be an autobiography telling the story of Sophie, and to be fair there were about 3 or 4 chapters that did, but largely it just read like a manifesto or a statement about certain topics。 I really enjoyed the more biographical elements。 Sophie is very open and so relatable。 I found myself nodding along with her stories in support。But the majority of the book is about AFTER Mrs Hinch。 It is about the downsides to fame and public recognition。 It becomes quite repetitive and often sounded like a book of motivational quotes and gushing。 The biographical chapters were so short and then it felt like everything else was squashed in to fill pages。 It also jumped so much chronologically。 The chapters were about topics rather than it being a timeline。 So we would have the early years chapters and make it to Mrs Hinch and then later jump back to pre-Mrs Hinch for the weightloss etc。 It was difficult to follow。I listened to the audiobook and it was read well and that added to the feeling of intimacy and openess but I think the focus of the book and the gushing lost me。 。。。more

What a great book。 I read some reviews before diving into this and some said they hated how it was written and the way it was written was poor。 I loved it, i never been a "hincher" i follow Soph on instagram, but i don't rush out to buy what she says she loves。 I read this book as if she was talking to me, telling me herself her story。 It is written brilliantly。 I loved getting to know her and her family more。 Hopes she updates us niw Lennie is here too。 What a great book。 I read some reviews before diving into this and some said they hated how it was written and the way it was written was poor。 I loved it, i never been a "hincher" i follow Soph on instagram, but i don't rush out to buy what she says she loves。 I read this book as if she was talking to me, telling me herself her story。 It is written brilliantly。 I loved getting to know her and her family more。 Hopes she updates us niw Lennie is here too。 。。。more

A great read about a young woman who is so grounded and found fame on Instagram doing something she loves, yet gets vilified by online trolls。 There are no words

Loved this book , listen to it as an audiobook , I’ve never related to a book so much , and it made me feel less alone !

A lovely down to earth lady with a big heart and a passion for cleaning。 It was nice to read this one and see a little more into Mrs Hinch and how everything came to be。 I couldn't imagine suddenly being sprung into a world of fame and with all the good of course comes the horrible trolls who are jealous and have nothing better to do than to mock and abuse those that are doing better for themselves。 I also know it wouldn't just be me that read this and appreciated just how she got the exact word A lovely down to earth lady with a big heart and a passion for cleaning。 It was nice to read this one and see a little more into Mrs Hinch and how everything came to be。 I couldn't imagine suddenly being sprung into a world of fame and with all the good of course comes the horrible trolls who are jealous and have nothing better to do than to mock and abuse those that are doing better for themselves。 I also know it wouldn't just be me that read this and appreciated just how she got the exact words about anxiety that so many of us feel。 'I can't shake off the feeling that whatever I have is too good to be true and so I'm always just waiting for something to go wrong。 Whenever I start to feel myself feel happy, that's when my anxiety kicks in。 It has the effect of swallowing me up and it means any happiness I feel is only ever for a short time and I feel like I'm never able to fully live in the moment and just enjoy it。'After years of having anxiety and never labelling it I can say I'm so much better than I was but I don't think it will ever be fully gone。 Sometimes when I'm nervous, scared, worried or upset it will kick in x10 and I have to pick myself up again。 I also do still get anxiety when things are going well and if one bad thing happens then I'm convinced myself that I knew it was too good to be true。 A daily reminder to everyone- think positive and be positive, don't let the haters or yourself get you down! 。。。more

I’ve been an avid Mrs Hinch fan for some years now, and every time she announces she’s releasing a book my heart does a little happy dance。 Soph, in my opinion, is one of the most honest and raw social media influencers out there, which is well reflected in this book。 It’s been an incredible journey she has been on and you can really grasp the gratitude she feels for her platform and the experiences that have followed。

Hollie Buckoke

This is an incredible book and written in such a lovely way。

I’m not normally an autobiography/memoir fan but as I listened to this on audiobook it was easier to digest。 Mrs Hinch narrated it and to hear it in her voice gave some extra meaning to what she was saying。 If I’m honest, it never went into as much detail as I expected (wanted) and a lot of what she spoke about I knew from being a follower on her Instagram。 That being said, I did enjoy it and it was an easy ‘read’ which was just what I needed。

Miss Tea

Listening to the audiobook version was lovely as it is narrated by Mrs Hinch herself and it really suits the conversational style of her writing。 She provides personal insights on how she has managed the growth and success of her Instagram following。 There are some ups and downs, and some serious impacts on her real life experiences。Overall this was really nice, like having a (one-sided!) chat with a friend。

Love love love this book! So open and honest from such a lovely lady!

The book is called ‘This is me’ and is all about Mrs Hinch’s life inside and outside of Instagram。 It literally is what it says on the tin and so I am struggling to understand why people have such negativity towards her/the book after listening/reading to it。 Sure, there is a bit of repetition and negativity in the book itself, however, Mrs Hinch gives an honest review of how her life makes her feel - and newsflash, she’s not an experienced writer and nor should she have to become one for the sa The book is called ‘This is me’ and is all about Mrs Hinch’s life inside and outside of Instagram。 It literally is what it says on the tin and so I am struggling to understand why people have such negativity towards her/the book after listening/reading to it。 Sure, there is a bit of repetition and negativity in the book itself, however, Mrs Hinch gives an honest review of how her life makes her feel - and newsflash, she’s not an experienced writer and nor should she have to become one for the sake of her book。 The way the book is written reflects her true self。 She may also be privileged but she’s still human and feels negative emotions and it’s ok for her to express that in her book - it doesn’t mean she doesn’t appreciate her life。 This is me is an easy to listen to book whilst doing other things and I found it interesting learning more about her life。 It feels as though some of these reviews are not constructive and instead are just digging at the way she is。 There’s already so much negativity in the world without people tearing others down about the way they are ✌️ 。。。more

It’s not an amazing book but I’ve found it interesting。 As someone who just enjoys hearing about the lives of others it definitely shared her life’s journey。 It’s open, honest and funny。 I found the flow as the different started in her life transitioned very smooth and as a Hincher it’s been particularly interesting to get an ideal of the women who had inspired my cleaning and organisation outside of her sink or washing machine hacks。Not sure it’s one I’d look to ever read again but I’ve enjoyed It’s not an amazing book but I’ve found it interesting。 As someone who just enjoys hearing about the lives of others it definitely shared her life’s journey。 It’s open, honest and funny。 I found the flow as the different started in her life transitioned very smooth and as a Hincher it’s been particularly interesting to get an ideal of the women who had inspired my cleaning and organisation outside of her sink or washing machine hacks。Not sure it’s one I’d look to ever read again but I’ve enjoyed reading it。 。。。more

A book I never thought I'd readHowever after reading the whole book。I am intrigued about her techniques etc 。 So I will do some mulling over before going full forward get the rest。 But I'm not sure as there is another person who has similar ideas but is USA based so stuff is either really expensive or not available in the UK。 A book I never thought I'd readHowever after reading the whole book。I am intrigued about her techniques etc 。 So I will do some mulling over before going full forward get the rest。 But I'm not sure as there is another person who has similar ideas but is USA based so stuff is either really expensive or not available in the UK。 。。。more

This Is Me is an interesting insight into the life of a social media influencer。 I've followed Mrs Hinch for a few years now and love learning her tips and tricks for cleaning。 Following her account came along at just the right time when I got my own place。Sophie Hinchliffe writes in a very informal colloquial way and I could hear her voice in my head whilst reading。 She may not be the greatest writer (and it's not going to be nominated for any literary awards), but she speaks about very real is This Is Me is an interesting insight into the life of a social media influencer。 I've followed Mrs Hinch for a few years now and love learning her tips and tricks for cleaning。 Following her account came along at just the right time when I got my own place。Sophie Hinchliffe writes in a very informal colloquial way and I could hear her voice in my head whilst reading。 She may not be the greatest writer (and it's not going to be nominated for any literary awards), but she speaks about very real issues that anyone can relate to。 I particularly related to the chapters about her body issues and feeling like an annoyance to her school friends。 It's exactly how I feel or have felt in the past。I did notice that a lot of things were repeated quite a lot。 Perhaps too much。 But at the same time, I think it's important to get across the effects of online trolling and bullying。 Some of the things Sophie has had to deal with are horrific。 What on earth possesses people (grown adults) to bully a baby!As I say, This Is Me is an interesting read that I'd recommend to die-hard Mrs Hinch fans。 However, it isn't mindblowing and a lot of what is in the book has been spoken about on her Instagram account。 But it was a nice easy read to chill with at the end of the day。This review and many more can be found at My Expanding Bookshelf。 。。。more

I mean, it was never going to be a literary masterpiece but it was truly bad。There were parts that just didn't make sense to the things she's shared on her stories and just didn't add up。 So I do wonder how much of it is even truthful。At one point she mentioned that she told Jamie to read up on postpartum depression, but when they appeared on the Stacey Solomon podcast he said a friend told him to read up on it before their son was even born and she said she had no idea he'd done it。 So which is I mean, it was never going to be a literary masterpiece but it was truly bad。There were parts that just didn't make sense to the things she's shared on her stories and just didn't add up。 So I do wonder how much of it is even truthful。At one point she mentioned that she told Jamie to read up on postpartum depression, but when they appeared on the Stacey Solomon podcast he said a friend told him to read up on it before their son was even born and she said she had no idea he'd done it。 So which is it?I've been a follower since the beginning but have lost all faith now。The whole book just seemed like one long moan。 。。。more

I couldn’t even finish this。 I really tried to push through but just couldn’t do it。 I got the audiobook as something cosy to listen to in the bath or while tidying up - something to have on in the background - as I quite like Mrs Hinch’s Instagram stories。 I honestly feel like I’ve been robbed of £12。 Every chapter is a rehash of a lot of the content in the chapter before and she just seems to complain about every single aspect of her life, despite being incredibly privileged。 When she was talk I couldn’t even finish this。 I really tried to push through but just couldn’t do it。 I got the audiobook as something cosy to listen to in the bath or while tidying up - something to have on in the background - as I quite like Mrs Hinch’s Instagram stories。 I honestly feel like I’ve been robbed of £12。 Every chapter is a rehash of a lot of the content in the chapter before and she just seems to complain about every single aspect of her life, despite being incredibly privileged。 When she was talking about ‘trolls’ putting her down (every other sentence it feels like), which is an awful experience that no one should have to go through of course, it felt like she was having a go at me personally through the audiobook despite me never having trolled her - and this was over and over again。 Her writing about her weight loss also felt incredibly tone deaf and offensive。 I got to the point where she is talking about how her opinions on the brands she works with are entirely her own for about the 6th time and it just feels like I’m willingly listening to some sort of advert。 She reads the book very well, it’s just a shame the content is like an unedited teenager’s diary。 1/5 - did not finish。 。。。more
