This book was really good and definitely worth the read if you like the twilight series。 There were some parts that got a little cringey bug it was really interesting to me to read things from Edwards perspective。

DNF。。。 200 pages in。 It was ok。I'm not in the right mindset to read this。 I'd have to be on a long vacation with nothing occupying my schedule and thrilled with the idea of revisiting these characters。 Don't get me wrong， I love Twilight。 But Midnight Sun is TOO LONG for me to handle， and it's just kind of。。。boring。 I've read longer books， so it's not that。 It's just that there's some 700 page books you read that feel like an easy ride， and others that feel like and eternity to get through。 Midn DNF。。。 200 pages in。 It was ok。I'm not in the right mindset to read this。 I'd have to be on a long vacation with nothing occupying my schedule and thrilled with the idea of revisiting these characters。 Don't get me wrong， I love Twilight。 But Midnight Sun is TOO LONG for me to handle， and it's just kind of。。。boring。 I've read longer books， so it's not that。 It's just that there's some 700 page books you read that feel like an easy ride， and others that feel like and eternity to get through。 Midnight Sun is the latter。 So， I did give this a chance。 200 pages was plenty for me to realize that I didn't want to spend HOURS reading this。 I already know what happens。 I was one of those 12 year old's that was obsessed with the saga and stayed up reading Eclipse until 1 AM。 I loved the movies too， though to be honest， they're kind of cringe。 （Really fun to watch though if you're with friends。）Needless to say， what I need right now is NOT a super fucking long recap of twilight in Edward's perspective。 What I need is a book with tons of drama and a good plot to keep me hooked。 I need a well-done enemies to lovers romance or an action-packed fantasy thriller。 THAT'S WHAT I NEED> NOT THIS 。（I never asked for this book。 no one did。）Bye bye now。 。。。more

I waited for this book for so long I started to doubt she would ever release it！After reading the leaked chapter many years ago I wanted more from Edwards POV， and this provides just that。Clearly it is not a new plot or new story， but it’s not meant to be。 It gives us an insight to Edward and his family during the first book which I love， the extra snippets of detail provide answers to so many questions about their behaviour and actions， and I loved seeing his interactions with Bella from his PO I waited for this book for so long I started to doubt she would ever release it！After reading the leaked chapter many years ago I wanted more from Edwards POV， and this provides just that。Clearly it is not a new plot or new story， but it’s not meant to be。 It gives us an insight to Edward and his family during the first book which I love， the extra snippets of detail provide answers to so many questions about their behaviour and actions， and I loved seeing his interactions with Bella from his POV。It was a welcome blast from the past which threw me straight back into my Twilight phase！ 。。。more

Para empezar creo q "Sol" le da mil vueltas a crepúsculo。 Conocer la historia desde el lado Vampírico， con la perspectiva macabra， pasional y salvaje de un ser sobrenatural depredador， q casi ha olvidado lo q es ser y sentir como un humano， le da a la novela la chispa q necesitaba para no aburrirnos después de tantos años con la perspectiva de una humana adolescente bastante insípida。 Para mí ha sido sin duda una mejoría bestial， parece incluso otro libro。 También me sorprendió gratamente q mi o Para empezar creo q "Sol" le da mil vueltas a crepúsculo。 Conocer la historia desde el lado Vampírico， con la perspectiva macabra， pasional y salvaje de un ser sobrenatural depredador， q casi ha olvidado lo q es ser y sentir como un humano， le da a la novela la chispa q necesitaba para no aburrirnos después de tantos años con la perspectiva de una humana adolescente bastante insípida。 Para mí ha sido sin duda una mejoría bestial， parece incluso otro libro。 También me sorprendió gratamente q mi opinión sobre q vampiro cullen era mi favorito haya cambiado， antes era jasper， pero en esta novela Emmet se abre paso a codazos con su forma de ser q no pudimos ver tan detallada en crepúsculo。 En mi opinión esta novela tendría q haber sido el crepúsculo q todos conocemos。En cuanto a cosas malas， una sin importancia es lo fea q me parece la portada🙈 puff poner la imagen real de una granada abierta en dos chorreando queda muy burdo， si hubiera sido una ilustración habría sido más bonito y delicado。 Y en cuanto a la trama tuve cierto problema de pesadez， creo q debido a q había leído justo antes crepúsculo， se me hizo algo pesada xq era volver a leer la historia después de haberla acabado， y sus 800pgs no ayudaban a q fuera menos repetitiva y lenta。 También resulta algo cansino y repetitivo xq Edward se come mucho la cabeza， la da mil vueltas a las cosas y se repite pensando en q hacer o no。 Eso tampoco ayuda a q la trama sea ligera y avance con rapidez。 Pero haya que verlo como un rasgo más d su personalidad obsesiva y agonías😅Así q aconsejo no haber leído crepúsculo recientemente si quieres leer "sol" y disfrutarlo más。 。。。more
