A mouse is a mouse and a stick insect is a stick insect。 However， a cat is not a squirrel 。 。 。 and cats eat mice。 Rescue comes from an unexpected source with an equally unexpected solution。 Mina is a wise little mouse。 Simple， concise text with beautiful， detailed， colorful， and often humorous illustrations。 There is much to explore in each illustration。 For preschool through 2nd grade。

I did not see any of the twists in this plot。 And I loved them！ A pleasant， surprising tale with subtle dialogue and wonderfully suggestive pictures （the eyes especially signal so much of the story here）！
