This was fun to readI actually started reading this with lesser expectations cos it's a spinoff and they're usually less intense than the main series。 It's not the best SJM novel but it was good for what it wasNesta is a cold blooded b*tch。 I don't think I've ever hated a character more than her or wished I could enter a book and kill a character more than her。 But despite that she's pretty interesting。 I've come to realize that a character doesn't have to be likeable to be interesting。 Hell I h This was fun to readI actually started reading this with lesser expectations cos it's a spinoff and they're usually less intense than the main series。 It's not the best SJM novel but it was good for what it wasNesta is a cold blooded b*tch。 I don't think I've ever hated a character more than her or wished I could enter a book and kill a character more than her。 But despite that she's pretty interesting。 I've come to realize that a character doesn't have to be likeable to be interesting。 Hell I hated Manon from the throne of glass series and I wouldn’t have minded if she died but I still found her interesting。 From the synopsis of the book， it was obvious that this would be Nesta's redemption story and honestly that was why I kept reading despite her being a cunt。 I wanted to see what would make this giant *sshole change her ways。 I was really curious to see how SJM will pull this off and she did really well。 I went from fantasizing about killing Nesta to actually rooting for her。 It was interesting to see her grow and become a decent person at last。 I know Nesta was that way because of trauma and hurt people hurt people but that doesn't excuse her actions。 You can't go around hitting people and expect to be excused from it just because you're hurt。I loved Cassian through all of this and my heart constantly went out to him for all the bs he took from Nesta。 I've never understood how a person could be that tolerant。 I sure as hell am not。 I would've dropped that b*tch like an old habit。I don't understand why some people have a problem with Elaine。 Like what did she do？ She's been nice to every one including Nesta who deserved nothing。 Unlike Nesta she never whined or complained about being turned fae。 My only problem with her is that she's still hung up on that bastard Greyson。 Other than that she's a simple （rather uninteresting） character that deserves no hate。 Honestly the thinking of some people on the internet surprises me。As for the length of the book， it could've been shorter。 Considering it didn't have much action or plot twists。 But I guess excessively long books are trending nowadays for some reason。The ending was super cute and wholesome and nearly bought tears to my eyes and I like the female Nesta became。 A spot on Character arc。 I'm telling you SJM is a genius。We'll that's my take on A Court Of Silver Flames。 Can't wait for the next book。 And I think I have an idea who it will be about 😉 。。。more

for the first 600 pages half of me was like this is just training， library， make love， repeat？ but the other half of me ate it up？？（i mean beside the extensive pages of u know what）like it took no effort to read 800 pages like i took a month to read 300。 also i did not see the hunger games plot twist coming i was actually surprised 🤩also i read one star reviews and i do kind of have to agree that feyre and rhys were kind of unlikeable

It was really slow for the first part of the book and I was stuck around page 70 for weeks。 Then I took the book on a flight and finished the next 680 pages in a matter of 36 hours。 I liked the emphasis on female friendship in addition to the romance。

My favorite of the series。 I did a full 180 on Nesta where she went from annoying to the most relatable Archeron sister。 The spice between her and Cassian is FIRE and I loved her journey of healing and making friends （which is a struggle as an adult）。 A comfort read level book。
