Summary

Memphis Ward arrives in Quincy, Montana, on the fifth worst day of her life。 She needs a shower。 She needs a snack。 She needs some sanity。 Because moving across the country with her newborn baby is by far the craziest thing she’s ever done。

But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life。 If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, she’ll do it if it means a better future for her son。 Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life。 Even if it requires working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn and living in an apartment above a garage。

It’s there, on the fifth worst day of her life, that she meets the handsomest man she’s ever laid eyes on。 Knox Eden is a beautiful, sinful dream, a chef and her temporary landlord。 With his sharp, stubbled jaw and tattooed arms, he’s raw and rugged and everything she’s never had—and never will。 Because after the first worst day of her life, Memphis learned a good life requires giving up on her dreams too。 And a man like Knox Eden will only ever be a dream。

read this a while ago and i don’t remember if i wanted to rate it 3。5 or 4 i liked how determined memphis was and knox was really sweet too, i loved his love for drake but also felt like it could’ve come off as sort of weird or creepy if knox was a bad character instead of the love interest。 i liked how memphis and knox didn’t really have much of a conflict and they both knew that they loved each other。 that was very sweet and i loved how they were basically a family since the start, it was just read this a while ago and i don’t remember if i wanted to rate it 3。5 or 4 i liked how determined memphis was and knox was really sweet too, i loved his love for drake but also felt like it could’ve come off as sort of weird or creepy if knox was a bad character instead of the love interest。 i liked how memphis and knox didn’t really have much of a conflict and they both knew that they loved each other。 that was very sweet and i loved how they were basically a family since the start, it was just as if they were this lost family coming back together and it was really cute 。。。more

Memphis leaves her wealthy parents and her family's hotel empire with a newborn in tow。 She settles in Juniper Hill where she lives in the loft of grumpy, Knox Eden。 The Eden family are royalty in the small town of Quincy, and whilst the family welcome Memphis and her little boy, Drake with open arms, Knox is less than happy。 I loved Memphis, she was a strong and independent woman who wanted to stand on her own two feet without the help of her parents。 Working as a house maid in the Eden family Memphis leaves her wealthy parents and her family's hotel empire with a newborn in tow。 She settles in Juniper Hill where she lives in the loft of grumpy, Knox Eden。 The Eden family are royalty in the small town of Quincy, and whilst the family welcome Memphis and her little boy, Drake with open arms, Knox is less than happy。 I loved Memphis, she was a strong and independent woman who wanted to stand on her own two feet without the help of her parents。 Working as a house maid in the Eden family hotel to support her family and her incessant need to not be seen as a 'charity' case was amazing to see her navigate her new role in the world。 The character development for Knox was one of the best feature of the novel, seeing his initial reluctance to accept Memphis' presence and eventually falling for the young mother and her newborn son as his own。If I'm honest there wasn't anything major in the book that put me off。 I think the development between the characters was amazing to see, and I can't wait to read the other instalments in the series。I would highly recommend this book, those looking for a romantic read and are keen to see a strong independent woman and the way she is resilient despite the troubles she faces。 The writing styles was super easy to follow and I can't recommend this book enough! 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 this is confusing, to say the least。 I am well aware that this book contains suspense theme, but how the fuck did it go from small town romance, where a single mom lives with a cook who fell in love first to mafias and kidnapping?!?!

I loved it。 Knox is a dream, and the Eden family feels like home。 Memphis character development is spectacular。 And the three of them together is just breathtaking。 Gonna continue with the first book right now。

Didn’t read it, heard about it that: she is a single parent, he takes care of her and her baby 🥺❤️

This was soooo fricken cute, I'm such a sucker for single-parent trope。 I do think the ending was a little rushed, but the bonus epilogue was so satisfying I don't even care This was soooo fricken cute, I'm such a sucker for single-parent trope。 I do think the ending was a little rushed, but the bonus epilogue was so satisfying I don't even care 。。。more

。。。more

I adored this book! I’m really loving this series, it’s so underrated and more people need to pick it up。 Knox was everything。 He stole my heart from the beginning when he started going over and putting baby Drake to sleep🥺 He fell hard for Memphis and Drake and I was swooning。 I absolutely loved the dynamic between Knox and Memphis, they were so domestic and cute。 When Knox called Drake “mine” I was gone😭 and the epilogues were just perfect! The story held me captivated during a long, difficult flight。 I loved it, the cast, and the series。

This was another book that was the equivalent of a Hallmark movie, but in all the best ways。So many sweet, wholesome moments。 Knox was actually the most perfect man。 I loved how he was just all in and would do absolutely anything for Memphis。 The drama/suspense was so extra, but I was absolutely here for it lmao。 Cannot wait to read more by this author。
