i low-key think adam silvera's books should be banned or something because they have no business going around stabbing hearts ~ i think i need a whole entire history to settle my heart with this book but then again i definitely don't prefer an alternate-universe-ashmita where she hasn't read this book <33 *butterfly kisses* this review probably makes zero sense to anyone and my only consolation is that you're gonna have to read the book to get the references。 *smirks* i low-key think adam silvera's books should be banned or something because they have no business going around stabbing hearts ~ i think i need a whole entire history to settle my heart with this book but then again i definitely don't prefer an alternate-universe-ashmita where she hasn't read this book <33 *butterfly kisses* this review probably makes zero sense to anyone and my only consolation is that you're gonna have to read the book to get the references。 *smirks* 。。。more

Would be 2 stars but a trying to change neirodiverse behaviour bit at the end felt uncomfortably ableist。

A little slow in places but the writing shows the realities of tragedy and the effect it can have on an individual and their perspective。 I liked the descriptions of New York, even if the main character was not very likeable。

⭐️3⭐️It was really sad at first I even shed a few tears but it became pretty repetitive halfway through I had to stop reading it for a while because I was so bored and the plot was weird it lowkey didn’t make much sense because it felt so rushed the book had a lot of potential but it was kind of wasted in my eyes。。

Wasn't a terrible book。 To me it felt too erratic; it went from an unrealistic lack of lamentation to an overly utopian scenario where he is friends with his ex'es boyfriend? I got the impression it was far too unoriginal in comparison to 'they both die at the end' almost as if it was like a post-debut novel。。。 Wasn't a terrible book。 To me it felt too erratic; it went from an unrealistic lack of lamentation to an overly utopian scenario where he is friends with his ex'es boyfriend? It’s been a bit since a book has rendered me to a bawling mess。 I don’t think a book ever made me tear up at the first line and full on crying by the second page。This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings and I loved every moment, even if it ripped my heart out。 It was devastating in the best way possible and I will recommend it to every living, breathing soul on this planet。

such a stunning and beautiful novel about grief and looking back to history。 they both die at the end was an average - 3 star - kind of read to me but this book was so emotional and sad and I simply don’t understand how it isn’t his most popular book。 the chats about grief and struggling with living in the past feel so relatable and I managed to relate to some of griffin’s thoughts。 there’s a sense of guilt but also longing and sadness for what he has lost since Theo died that he can’t move past such a stunning and beautiful novel about grief and looking back to history。 they both die at the end was an average - 3 star - kind of read to me but this book was so emotional and sad and I simply don’t understand how it isn’t his most popular book。 the chats about grief and struggling with living in the past feel so relatable and I managed to relate to some of griffin’s thoughts。 there’s a sense of guilt but also longing and sadness for what he has lost since Theo died that he can’t move past。 it’s so beautifully written and just made me feel so emotional and reflective。 。。。more

The narration of it reminded me slightly of normal people, but 10 times better。 It was a really beautifully written story about loss and friendship。 There were some amazing quotes。 I love this book。

This book。 Had the audacity to make me cry at the first page, and throughout the whole book。 I am not happy with how this book had me staring at the wall for 2 hours, crying and sobbing on the floor。 But i loved it at the same time, so so much。 It not may be a book for everyone, but for me honestly, it made sense and it broke me so many times over and over。 I haven’t re-read this book since 2019 and i am not planning on doing it it the near future, but someday i will。

i loved this book as reading they both die at the end last year i knew it was going to be good and the last 70 pages woah?! so much happened that i didn’t think would

Not a fan。 Felt like there wasn’t a good plot twist/ ending felt like just a sign off not an ending。 Tested my patience a lot but I can see why people could appreciate it more as it shows the thought processes of enduring ocd as well as getting through grief and the impulses and guilt that comes with it。 Just not for me tbh

Have I absolutely lost it or did Griffin and Jackson have the best chemistry out of everyone

Hold on!I’m about to write a review for a book and I haven’t done this in a while。This book was heartbreakingly brutal, it basically a book about grief。 We as humans navigate grief differently, and we have a hard time letting go of things we grew fond of。 This book highlights that, the vulnerability of living someone and knowing it ends at some point is real。 The characters were all relatable, which is something very rare。 The ending was something phenomenal。 I guess you could say we all grow af Hold on!I’m about to write a review for a book and I haven’t done this in a while。This book was heartbreakingly brutal, it basically a book about grief。 We as humans navigate grief differently, and we have a hard time letting go of things we grew fond of。 This book highlights that, the vulnerability of living someone and knowing it ends at some point is real。 The characters were all relatable, which is something very rare。 The ending was something phenomenal。 I guess you could say we all grow after certain situations。 。。。more

I rated History is All You Left Me four stars because I enjoyed reading it and it lived up to my expectations。 One reason I feel this way is that the author does an excellent job of describing Griffin's grief over Theo。 For example, Griffin mentions that he's been feeling physically ill since Theo died。 He even claims that the physical pain he is experiencing after Theo's death is similar to the pain he felt when he and Theo went bike riding。 People should read this book, in my opinion, because I rated History is All You Left Me four stars because I enjoyed reading it and it lived up to my expectations。 One reason I feel this way is that the author does an excellent job of describing Griffin's grief over Theo。 For example, Griffin mentions that he's been feeling physically ill since Theo died。 He even claims that the physical pain he is experiencing after Theo's death is similar to the pain he felt when he and Theo went bike riding。 People should read this book, in my opinion, because it may help suggest ways to cope with the death of a loved one。 I would definitely read another book by Adam Silvera because his books always satisfy my reading preferences。 。。。more

I rated the book History is all You Left Me by Adam Silva a 5-star rating because it exceeded my expectations and I couldn't put it down。 One reason I felt the rating a 5-star was because the book was interesting and it was weird sometimes but others were sad and friendship。 In the book, the main character (griffin) was in love with theo and theo loved griffin but what Griffin doesn’t know is that theo is in love with another guy called Jackson and they have been dating for 6 years but with Theo I rated the book History is all You Left Me by Adam Silva a 5-star rating because it exceeded my expectations and I couldn't put it down。 One reason I felt the rating a 5-star was because the book was interesting and it was weird sometimes but others were sad and friendship。 In the book, the main character (griffin) was in love with theo and theo loved griffin but what Griffin doesn’t know is that theo is in love with another guy called Jackson and they have been dating for 6 years but with Theo and Jackson they were dating for 7 years。 When griffin discover that he was dating another boy he told Theo who was he dating and he got caught and left the call it made me feel that griffin is being cheated on by theo and because of this connection it exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t put it down。 The book is very important because it tells us about Arthur’s sexuality and how he was getting bullied by other people。 I would read another book by the same author because his books are fascinating and maybe people will like the book。 。。。more
