I read this book to my 4 year old today and she loved it and asked me to read it again immediately after I finished it。 This is a fabulous, inclusive, matter of fact book that teaches kids the proper names of lots of body parts, from head to toes, as well as some of the body's basic functions。 I even learned some new terminology! (The wing of one's nose, for instance) The illustrations include kids with disabilities and different skin tones。 Breasts and genitalia are mentioned in a gender neutra I read this book to my 4 year old today and she loved it and asked me to read it again immediately after I finished it。 This is a fabulous, inclusive, matter of fact book that teaches kids the proper names of lots of body parts, from head to toes, as well as some of the body's basic functions。 I even learned some new terminology! (The wing of one's nose, for instance) The illustrations include kids with disabilities and different skin tones。 Breasts and genitalia are mentioned in a gender neutral way (ex: "some people have vulvas。") The experiences of folks who have disabilities are included- for instance, the book mentions that some people have difficulty walking or cannot walk, and may use canes, walkers, braces or wheelchairs。 My daughter happily said "My great grandmother uses a wheelchair!" Being blind or deaf is mentioned and my daughter asked how people who are blind AND deaf get around; before I could answer, she declared "They can use touch!" I love that this book is spurring conversation between me and my daughter, as well as teaching her the correct names of her body parts, which is so important for her own safety。 Highly recommended! 。。。more
