You know， this started out pretty good。 I felt that a lot of women could sympathize with the narrator and perhaps even see a little bit of themselves （or younger selves） in her。 However， somewhere around the middle this book went from zero to sixty and was a complete mess。 I had to force myself to finish as it was uncomfortably explicit and extremely distasteful to read。

what a wonderfully raw and intimate look into the obsessive & compulsive mind of an unnamed protagonist who finds her self-worth， self-love， and purpose in another person。 her desire for requited love has made for a poignant and gutting novel that I loved。 4。5 stars！
