New from the bestselling illustrator of I Love You Through and Through!

Caroline Jayne Church and her loveable, huggable toddlers are back! A bestselling author and illustrator, Church's books have been enormously successful across all channels, but none of them have done better than her padded board books: I Love You Through and Through and How Do I Love You? I read this book as part of my Reading Wednesdays series。

Trista Berlemann

My favorite series to read the kids at bedtime。 Adorable illustrations and simple rhymes that never get old for us。

Sarah

Simple and clear, just the resource I was looking for! Many parents/caregivers are finding lockdown periods more difficult in terms of maintaining routines and this story makes it fun for the little ones to take the lead。

Very cute illustrations。 It is a nice bedtime routine book。 Bath, brush teeth, story, sleep。

We have quite a few books by Caroline Jayne Church (a couple of which we really love), but this one would have to go on the bottom of the stack。

Susan

My 3-year old boy loves this book, but he calls it "bath fun"。 This book has been an absolute choice among the three nighttime stories he can choose every day。 My 3-year old boy loves this book, but he calls it "bath fun"。 This book has been an absolute choice among the three nighttime stories he can choose every day。 。。。more

Book ThreeThis book was cute and simple。 We have had this book for a few month and have just read it for the 1000-Books-before-Kindergarten challenge。THe book is thick each page has the thickness of pressed cardboard the pictures are soft but colorful。 THe illustrations are animated and inviting。 It's a great book show me copy me type reading。 Zoie could act along with the characters。It's a very simple sweet book。It's better for a child that is under two years old。#1000booksb4k Book ThreeThis book was cute and simple。 We have had this book for a few month and have just read it for the 1000-Books-before-Kindergarten challenge。THe book is thick each page has the thickness of pressed cardboard the pictures are soft but colorful。 THe illustrations are animated and inviting。 It's a great book show me copy me type reading。 Zoie could act along with the characters。It's a very simple sweet book。It's better for a child that is under two years old。#1000booksb4k 。。。more

This one's really nice。 The pages aren't board, but they are sturdy enough to survive our 10 month old's heavy handedness。 It's brief, but there's enough content to fill a few minutes, and it rhymes quite nicely。 The pictures are simple but effective and illustrate two cute childrens' bedtime routines, evoking the cosy, happy feelings that I remember from my childhood, and hope our little girl experiences in hers。Does the little girl like it? She's starting to。 She touches the characters and the cuddly toys in the story, but she still gets a bit distracted before the end。 It's going to be a grower, I think。A few months on, and I now know this story by heart。 It has become part of our bedtime routine, and even if I can't get little Sylvie to sit on my lap throughout the reading, I just reel it off out loud while she explores the annex of hallway, nursery and bathroom as we wait for the bath to fill, helping to facilitate a cosy familiarity。 。。。more

I would classify this as a picture book。 Though it has words, the story is easily interpreted by young children。 The story goes through the process of two children getting ready for bed。 It also rhymes! I gave this story 5 stars because I think it is the perfect bedtime read。 My three year old really enjoys this for her bedtime。 I think part of it may be that she is able to "read" it to me。 This story can also be helpful with children who have a rough time with their bedtime routine。 Parents/car I would classify this as a picture book。 Though it has words, the story is easily interpreted by young children。 The story goes through the process of two children getting ready for bed。 It also rhymes! My almost 3 year old girl always wants to read this book before bed! She memorized most of it in just a few nights - she loves to read along! I get her excited about each page and it makes it easier to get her to sleep。 This is the last book we read before bed- others include "i am a big sister" and "I love you through and through" and llama "llama misses mama" My almost 3 year old girl always wants to read this book before bed! A very touching, sentimental telling of the bedtime routine of two sweet children。 It seems to be a great gift for preschool aged siblings。

One of the first books we ever read to our kids, because the illustrations made the events of the story so clear, we could pidgen-Lithuanian our way through the simple story, it helped show that bedtime routines were not just something weird we'd invented to torture them, AND it ends in the immortal words, "I love you, good night。" They still ask for it from time to time。 One of the first books we ever read to our kids, because the illustrations made the events of the story so clear, we could pidgen-Lithuanian our way through the simple story, it helped show that bedtime routines were not just something weird we'd invented to torture them, AND it ends in the immortal words, "I love you, good night。" They still ask for it from time to time。 。。。more

I did not want to return this board book to the library because my one-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter loved it so much。 I plan to buy a copy for her。The cute double page spread colored illustrations feature a little boy with his teddy bear and a little girl with her bunny as they prepare for bed。 They bathe, brush their teeth, put on their pajamas, and read a story before putting out the light。 The last page says, “I love you, good night” which my granddaughter began to say with me。This is a I did not want to return this board book to the library because my one-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter loved it so much。 I plan to buy a copy for her。The cute double page spread colored illustrations feature a little boy with his teddy bear and a little girl with her bunny as they prepare for bed。 They bathe, brush their teeth, put on their pajamas, and read a story before putting out the light。 The last page says, “I love you, good night” which my granddaughter began to say with me。This is a rhyming book that works。 It begins “It’s time for bed, so let’s get ready。 Bring your bunny。 Bring your Teddy。” The rhythm and rhyme are constant throughout。 The vocabulary is simple but also introduces the words scrub and squeaky。There is a feeling of gentle warmth in both the illustrations and text。 The children are happy and loved。 This is a perfect bedtime story for your toddler。 。。。more
