Ohhhh my goodness that was SO CUTE！！！ This was my first Mariana Zapata book and you can bet that I'll be binge reading the rest of them soon！ I LIVE for a good slow burn romance and that's exactly what this was。 The main couple was so cute and I just loved them so much。 The only thing I was a little bit annoyed about was that the central insecurity Bianca had （that Zac had better things to do than spend time with her） kept coming up all the time， which makes her a totally realistic character， bu Ohhhh my goodness that was SO CUTE！！！ This was my first Mariana Zapata book and you can bet that I'll be binge reading the rest of them soon！ I LIVE for a good slow burn romance and that's exactly what this was。 The main couple was so cute and I just loved them so much。 The only thing I was a little bit annoyed about was that the central insecurity Bianca had （that Zac had better things to do than spend time with her） kept coming up all the time， which makes her a totally realistic character， but it happened so often that it was noticeable to me， which usually takes a lot。 However， that totally didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book at all and I' excited to jump right in to another Mariana Zapta book！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 i was super excited/nervous to read this one because i loved the wall of Winnipeg and me and i definitely loved zac in it， but i wasn't sure how he'd hold up as a romantic hero。 MZ proved me wrong。 he was。。。the moment？ the darlin's？ the honeys？ they had me dead。 i wasn't really sure what to rate this one and i teetered back and forth between 4 and 5 stars， but this was the first time in a long time i stayed up past 3 am to continue reading a book。 i guess i didn't even really realized how hooked i was super excited/nervous to read this one because i loved the wall of Winnipeg and me and i definitely loved zac in it， but i wasn't sure how he'd hold up as a romantic hero。 MZ proved me wrong。 he was。。。the moment？ the darlin's？ the honeys？ they had me dead。 i wasn't really sure what to rate this one and i teetered back and forth between 4 and 5 stars， but this was the first time in a long time i stayed up past 3 am to continue reading a book。 i guess i didn't even really realized how hooked on the book i was until i dreaded stopping。 this is probably not MZ's slowest burn， but it definitely felt like it。 reader beware that this took me a lot longer to get into than the other books because we knew zac， we were eager for zac， but we didn't really know bianca yet。 buttt i was baffled by their relationship in the most endearing way。 bianca was a wonderful FMC。 like all of MZ's female leads， she was strong and independent and felt so so much。 but i loved her ability to be comfortable with almost everyone she met。 whether it was zac or another football player or her jerk boss， she just wasn't intimidated which i thought was just so cool。 i also LOVED her lazy baker stuff。 it's such a unique idea and it's literally so funny to imagine these big ass football players in her tiny kitchen and her tiny aprons。 another thing i adored about her （and all of MZ's character） is how deeply and how intensely she felt and how she was never ashamed about it。 ZACCCC our king yes yes we loved him in the wall of Winnipeg and me， but i saw him in a new light。 he was best friend and potential lover。 but for the lnogest time in the book， even though i knew there was an HEA， i was genuinely uncertain on whether he and bianca would get together bc it was so hard to read if he was a in love w biana as she was in love w him。 i was like maybe this is all in her head。。。。BUT MZ SURPRISED ME bro his love confession？ MZ did that for us。 for US。 perfect confession？ perfect grand gesture？ UGH LIKE HE WENT TO GO GIVE HER HIS NEW NUMBER IN PERSON THAT HE GOT BC HE DIDN'T WANT HER TO FEEL INSECURE。 LIKE STFU AND RUN ME OVER W A TRAIN anyways if you're an MZ fan， there are a few cameos in here！ we have aiden and vanessa of course BUT WE ALSO GOT IVAN AND JASMINE？？？？？ I。。。。SCREAMED i do wish we got a tad bit more aiden content but I'm just greedy so whatever this book was just fun。 so many of MZ books can feel somber because of the focus on character building and relationship building but this one almost didn't need that and it felt more fun at time with the quincenera the fart bombs （don't ask） and just everything their relationship felt so genuine and you could really feel bianca's fear bc I FELT IT TOO like i genuinely didn't know if zac liked her back or not and because of that it made the blossoming relationship hit that much harder and more impactful。 it was such a beautiful， fun， intense love story that was full of insecurities and friendship and protection their friendship wasn't obvious at first because of the slight animosity between the two but when it came to be MANNN were they besties or what anyways， MZ remains my slow burn queen and I'm convinced her grocery lists are insanely detailed and 200 pages long and at the end she has cookies much like she has the kiss on the last 50 pages。 i love u queen <3 。。。more

Este me gustó incluso más que The Wall of Winniepeg and me， porque como los amo a estos dos。 La manera en Zapata escribe y resuelve los conflictos es maravillosa， no te lastima， ni lo convierte en algo con red flags andante， simplemente es simple， sutil y maduro。 Aparte de que los personajes siempre conservan su lado humano y tratan de demostrar como ser mejores personas aun cuando nos muestran ese lado malo que tenemos todos， pero al final del día es inevitable。10/10

When I saw Zac had a story， I immediately downloaded it。 He was so fun in Wall of Winnipeg that he became one of my favorites。 This story is equally as slow of a burn as WoW， but somehow sweeter。 The friendship between Zac and Bianca is so hilarious I found myself chuckling pretty consistently。 It’s hilarious but a bit heartbreaking since Bianca spends a whole lot of time trying to talk herself out of her feelings。 While I liked a lot of elements of this story better than WoW， I ended up liking When I saw Zac had a story， I immediately downloaded it。 He was so fun in Wall of Winnipeg that he became one of my favorites。 This story is equally as slow of a burn as WoW， but somehow sweeter。 The friendship between Zac and Bianca is so hilarious I found myself chuckling pretty consistently。 It’s hilarious but a bit heartbreaking since Bianca spends a whole lot of time trying to talk herself out of her feelings。 While I liked a lot of elements of this story better than WoW， I ended up liking WoW collectively more， though I can’t really pinpoint why。 Maybe because of the tension in WoW since it’s enemies to lovers instead of friends to lovers？ I’m not sure but either way Zac and Bianca’s story is so sweet and I loved every minute of it。 。。。more

Just finished reading my 4th Mariana Zapata book in the last two weeks。I never knew how much I would appreciate a good slow burn。 I didn’t even know I liked aloe burns until I started reading the wall of Winnipeg。 Zac and Bianca’s story was so magical I read it in two sittings。I am so excited to continue reading more from Zapata
