More the story goes and more i feel this is going to flop。This volume was alright。I didn't really love that much one of the newest character that we learn to know in this volume。And, please, don't sexualize the middle schooler (I forgot her name)。Not her, anything but not her。 More the story goes and more i feel this is going to flop。This volume was alright。I didn't really love that much one of the newest character that we learn to know in this volume。And, please, don't sexualize the middle schooler (I forgot her name)。Not her, anything but not her。 。。。more

We get to meet a new character, one that Marin adores。 I swear, I have a huge smile on my face with every volume of this I read。 We learn more about these characters, see relationships progress, and we're pushed to pursue our dreams! God I love this manga。 And the romance is progressing slowly but steadily。。。emphasis on slowly。 But, I'm okay with that for now。 We get to meet a new character, one that Marin adores。 I swear, I have a huge smile on my face with every volume of this I read。 We learn more about these characters, see relationships progress, and we're pushed to pursue our dreams! The cosplay elements, which is the main draw of this title, are well researched, and much of that research is documented in the extras that are exclusive to the collected editions。 Just following this manga, one could dive into the hobby and be deep into the cosplay subculture。

Thought I would give this series a couple more volumes as the first book was ok but I have been enjoying them less as I go along。 I don't particular care for any of the characters and this volume felt a bit like a chore to get through at times。 Thought I would give this series a couple more volumes as the first book was ok but I have been enjoying them less as I go along。 I don't particular care for any of the characters and this volume felt a bit like a chore to get through at times。 。。。more

I'm leery about adding new girls to the mix, but Marin is so delightfully self-confident that I don't think it can bring her down。 I'm leery about adding new girls to the mix, but Marin is so delightfully self-confident that I don't think it can bring her down。 。。。more

Is this series mature? Yes。Does it have boob and panty shots? Yes。Is it wholesome? YES!I will fight and die on the hill that is My Dress Up Darling。 While the characters do tend to get into scandalous situations which may be a panty shot or more the series is not perverted。 I say that because Wakana is best boy。 He isn’t perverted。 Neither are the two females。 They end up in these situations but faint at hand holding or the mention of a date。 They are pure。 The story is precious。

This volume definitely was a reminder that this series is ecchi, but Goju is still such a pure bean

I really don't know what to make of this series。 It fluctuates wildly between good and bad。 Like, I hated the first half of the book with Juju's intro (just what?) But the ending was good with them enjoying the beach? Despite the very cringe-worthy ecchi moments that punctuate this series, it remains charming。 It’s the cosplay, the dolls, the camera tips, and the growing, awkward romance between Marin and Wakana that keep things entertaining。

Marin is hilarious - so straightforward and unselfconscious, and I love that she doesn’t get offended easily。 She’s a larger than life type friend。 Her reaction to him seeing her without colored contacts, totally disregarding her skimpy outfit 🤣 no, of course Wakana didn’t notice that you were free-boobing it。。。he’s only a teenage boy with eyes 😂 It’s cute that she already realizes she likes Wakana, and is so enthusiastic。。。the poor guy won’t know what hit him。 She was so giddy that he didn’t ha Marin is hilarious - so straightforward and unselfconscious, and I love that she doesn’t get offended easily。 She’s a larger than life type friend。 Her reaction to him seeing her without colored contacts, totally disregarding her skimpy outfit 🤣 no, of course Wakana didn’t notice that you were free-boobing it。。。he’s only a teenage boy with eyes 😂 It’s cute that she already realizes she likes Wakana, and is so enthusiastic。。。the poor guy won’t know what hit him。 She was so giddy that he didn’t have a girlfriend (uh, has she not noticed his complete lack of friends?!)。 Wakana is so earnest。。。I mean, this is a lot of time and money, and I don’t think he’s getting compensated 😧 why would he pay for studio fees when he’s doing all the work?
