A great read if you’re looking for build up from the end of the first book。 The second book focuses more on the relationship aspect between Jamie and Wes， ans also focused more on the internal and external factors that were affecting their relationship。 I think one of the things that I enjoyed the most about Bowen and Kennedy is their knack at writing in that “new adult” tone of hockey men in their early twenties， but also able to shift from the romantic undertones and serious conversations。 The A great read if you’re looking for build up from the end of the first book。 The second book focuses more on the relationship aspect between Jamie and Wes， ans also focused more on the internal and external factors that were affecting their relationship。 I think one of the things that I enjoyed the most about Bowen and Kennedy is their knack at writing in that “new adult” tone of hockey men in their early twenties， but also able to shift from the romantic undertones and serious conversations。 The supporting cast of characters was an improvement from the first book where it was more focused on Wes and Jamie。 My issues were the usage of baby/babe as a term of endearment （seriously folks stop it）， how the end portion of the book just dragged， and also that there were not consistent time jumps throughout the book。 Overall， a great sequel and follow up from the first book。 。。。more

Just amazing！I have read Him/Us at least 3 times。 I love the characters。 The writing is seamless and takes you o。 This journey of 2 friends finding their way back to each other and then the love they share for one another。 Jamie and Wes are the goal couple。 Straight or gray does not matter。 One of my most favorite storyline。
