I am thankful this is short book because it didn’t take up a lot of my time to read。 I was trying to do more research on Baba Yaga and this book came across a woman’s book to herself。 I wanted to find another view of Baba Yaga but instead read journal entry after journal entry learning about the author’s life。————————————————————————————————Original review above。 *I am editing my review to be fair to the author and changing it from a 1 star to 4 star。 The book is not poorly written but to me it I am thankful this is short book because it didn’t take up a lot of my time to read。 I was trying to do more research on Baba Yaga and this book came across a woman’s book to herself。 I wanted to find another view of Baba Yaga but instead read journal entry after journal entry learning about the author’s life。————————————————————————————————Original review above。 *I am editing my review to be fair to the author and changing it from a 1 star to 4 star。 The book is not poorly written but to me it was not what I expected。 Maybe it is the fault of the publishing company’s own synopsis on the back of the book is not quite accurate。 From the book itself it states “An accessible guide to building a devotional practice…” and “written to aid your own psycho-spiritual progression…”。 I should not fault the author that my personal expectations was not met based on how it was described。 When I was looking for possible resources in Baba Yaga this book was recommended。 Maybe one day I can compare it to my own journey with Baba Yaga。If you want a book about a woman’s own journey with Baba Yaga, this will work for you。 。。。more
