*** 1/2 Definitely an interesting read , but the book itself could have been only 75 pages。 Half of the chapters are always repeating the key concepts and they could have added more details on the clinical studies and the results。

I truly believe in Wim’s method - the mix of breathing exercises, meditation and cold exposure is life-changing。 The book, however, is full of repetition and badly written, Wim’s just not a writer and by how much he jumps around from topic to topic, you can unfortunately tell。 My recommendation is to read up on the method through Wim’s website or app, or check out one of the live courses instead。

5/5 for the method, which is clearly laid out and makes up 10-20% of the book。I would’ve appreciated this more as a condensed training manual。 If you’ve already bought in to Wim Hof’s methods - like I have - most of the book is selling what you’ve already bought。

I did learn a lot and fully believe in the power of breath work and cold immersion (tho im still afraid o of that part)。 I just think you could get all the info you need from watching one of Wim’s many interviews as a podcast guest。 The book could have shorter。 He often make a point and then rambles on for a long time saying the same thing in different ways。 His writing style is a bit untethered though it foes match his talking style… feel like his editor could have tightened things up a lot。
