A touch and feel board book for toddlers。 It contains photos of cute animals。 It has small, has nice sturdy pages that will not tear and the child can touch and feel the animals。

Literally what。 Some of the feel things either feel no different than the rest of the page, or are so subtleit’s like what’s the point。 Also why are almost allthe animals listed as their baby version。 I get that it’s for babies but “baby chimpanzee” and “zebra foul” is so unnecessarily wordy for a book for an infant。Daughter wasn’t sure about this book at first, but she’s come to like some of the images。

I don't understand the system of this book。 It starts with baby animals and then shows adult animals。 Also it starts out with the sounds animals make (like meow and woof), and then says, "Licking his nose!" It's not fun to read at all, and the touch spots are so small the baby barely notices them。 I don't understand the system of this book。 It starts with baby animals and then shows adult animals。 Also it starts out with the sounds animals make (like meow and woof), and then says, "Licking his nose!" This is mostly what it says but, is it baby animals or just animals that were at some point babies? It's a bit inconsistent, and the actual touchable thing varies in quality。So, I dunno。 It's fine。 It's a book with some words and some textures。 This is mostly what it says but, is it baby animals or just animals that were at some point babies? So cute。 My child loves it。

Cute, but some of the "touch" bits seem to be odd choices。EDIT: This became the baby's favourite book for a month and it gave me soooo much time to myself。 Rating updated。 Cute, but some of the "touch" bits seem to be odd choices。EDIT: This became the baby's favourite book for a month and it gave me soooo much time to myself。 Rating updated。 。。。more

Someone gifted F this book, and of course she enjoys it because there are a lot of textures to feel and she enjoys making the various animal sounds。 There's nothing particularly special about it, but it's good quick entertainment at bedtime。 Someone gifted F this book, and of course she enjoys it because there are a lot of textures to feel and she enjoys making the various animal sounds。 There's nothing particularly special about it, but it's good quick entertainment at bedtime。 。。。more

Anais touch-and-feel book, but we had to correct the monkey page to ape because it was a chimpanzee。

I gave this book 5 stars because its really very simple every page is dedicated to one animal and then there is a matching picture and part of it is what the animal would actually feel like。 This is a book for babies (as indicated in the title) but its really such a simple but very educational book。 Its important for our children to know what animal is which and to be familiar with them and that is exactly why this book was written it focuses on the animals and helping children perfect the names I gave this book 5 stars because its really very simple every page is dedicated to one animal and then there is a matching picture and part of it is what the animal would actually feel like。 This is a book for babies (as indicated in the title) but its really such a simple but very educational book。 Its important for our children to know what animal is which and to be familiar with them and that is exactly why this book was written it focuses on the animals and helping children perfect the names and what they look they and associating them together。 。。。more

Apparently Dawn Sirett wrote the text for this book。 She has several errors。 She calls a sea star a starfish。 She calls a chimpanzee a monkey。 And she puts exclamation marks behind every word。 Why? Should a fish’s “blub” have an exclamation mark behind it? The answer is “no,” Dawn, the answer is “no。”

I utilize Touch and Feel books in early intervention for children who do not enjoy reading or have difficulty staying engaged。 Touch and Feel books have different textures and are typically good for very young children with short attention spans。 This one in particular is about animals, which is a category that many young children have exposure to and have the ability to name。 While reading this book, the child could be asked to make the noises that each animal makes, or could be asked more comp I utilize Touch and Feel books in early intervention for children who do not enjoy reading or have difficulty staying engaged。 Touch and Feel books have different textures and are typically good for very young children with short attention spans。 This one in particular is about animals, which is a category that many young children have exposure to and have the ability to name。 While reading this book, the child could be asked to make the noises that each animal makes, or could be asked more complex questions about the type of animal (farm, zoo), color of the animal, what the animal does (hops, bites)。This book may be especially good for children who are sensory seeking, but one should be cautious about using these books with children who have sensory issues。 。。。more
