A Game of Fate is the first book in the Hades Saga series by Scarlett St。 Clair。 This book follows Hades throughout the course of the plot of the first book in the Hades and Persephone series。 First off, I want to know what Scarlett St。 Clair puts in her writing that makes it so addicting? I just want to know because this book was absolutely addicting。 Whenever I picked up this book, I was absolutely drawn into this book。 I loved Scarlett's writing so much and it really made this story stand out A Game of Fate is the first book in the Hades Saga series by Scarlett St。 Clair。 This book follows Hades throughout the course of the plot of the first book in the Hades and Persephone series。 First off, I want to know what Scarlett St。 Clair puts in her writing that makes it so addicting? I just want to know because this book was absolutely addicting。 Whenever I picked up this book, I was absolutely drawn into this book。 I loved Scarlett's writing so much and it really made this story stand out in its own way。 She managed to make the book so easy to read and quickly read through。 Secondly, I really loved Hades character。 He's so quiet and its hard to read him when it comes to reading the book from Persephone's perspective。 It was interesting to see how he saw Persephone and was able to interact with her and those around her。 He is definitely a grumpy character who only seems to light up whenever Persephone was around。 Scarlett did a great job of showing how Persephone really changed Hades and taught him how to be loving。 I really loved reading from Hades point of view。 I can't wait to see where the story is going to go and especially to see it from Hades perspective。 。。。more

I listened to this on Scribd。 It's a great standalone novel to the Persephone POV。 I'll definitely read next in the series。 I listened to this on Scribd。 It's a great standalone novel to the Persephone POV。 I'll definitely read next in the series。 。。。more

This was even better than A Touch of Darkness because I prefer Hades' POV。 A Game of Fate is basically the same as ATOD but from Hades perspective with some additional plot thrown in。 It's nice to see that he wasn't just sitting around waiting for Persephone to show up in the Underworld when we weren't with him in the first book。 There are still flaws here, but overall this one was better! Damnnnn this is way better than a touch of darkness for sureeee。 AToD just fall from 5 to 4。25 stars。POV Hades is way so much better as he is the domain。 He wants it, he gets it。 While POV Persephone is more feminine。 I'm pretty sure we would love POV the man because the man tends to be wilder yeahh。 I thought that this is the repetition of AToD but it's NOTTT, it has a different pov obv duh so the plot is a bit diff and i already forget a bit of AToD's plot anyway。I love Hades。 His priority urg Damnnnn this is way better than a touch of darkness for sureeee。 AToD just fall from 5 to 4。25 stars。POV Hades is way so much better as he is the domain。 He wants it, he gets it。 While POV Persephone is more feminine。 I'm pretty sure we would love POV the man because the man tends to be wilder yeahh。 I thought that this is the repetition of AToD but it's NOTTT, it has a different pov obv duh so the plot is a bit diff and i already forget a bit of AToD's plot anyway。I love Hades。 His priority urge is Persephone and that's the way we want it。I love Hecate & Hermes。 They are two pretty bestfriends for sure。 I mean duh Hecate is the girlfriend that I want。 She's so supportive。 Like "Go Bestfriend" Love itttttt。 。。。more

Satisfying all the way through! I was skeptical of reading this knowing it was a retelling of ATOD told from Hades POV, but it was satisfying to read through。 I kept comparing in my head moments that happened in ATOD and part of me just wished they were one book that was like 600+ pages because I’m just obsessed like that。 But I appreciate this way of doing the Sagas, and can’t wait to launch into the rest! It also made me love Hades so much!

I gave a touch of darkness 5 stars but this book managed to top it! Hades POV offers a funny and less annoying side to the story and is a lot more descriptive。 I fell even more in love with Hermes and Hecate as we see a lot more of their time in the underworld。 These books are great for you getting you out of a reading slump, plus the spice never stops!

This was just basically A Touch of Darkness but in Hades POV。 But I like this more than the first one。 It have more angst, and Hades is transparent here。 It shows a lot about his fears, doubts, and love for Persephone。 I love the banters between Hecate, Hermes, and Hades。 (All their names start with H, lol) we also get to see more of the gods。 Hades "fvcking fates" always makes me laugh。–★ 5 stars because i love this book and i'm a simp for Hecate。 This was just basically A Touch of Darkness but in Hades POV。 But I like this more than the first one。 It have more angst, and Hades is transparent here。 It shows a lot about his fears, doubts, and love for Persephone。 I love the banters between Hecate, Hermes, and Hades。 (All their names start with H, lol) we also get to see more of the gods。 Hades "fvcking fates" always makes me laugh。–★ 5 stars because i love this book and i'm a simp for Hecate。 。。。more

I actually enjoyed this book way more than a touch of darkness。 I found a touch of darkness wasn’t really to my taste, but a game of fate was set more in the world of the gods which I thoroughly enjoyed! Did this book add anything major to the plot? Possibly not, however you can see where this is going to tie into the later books with the ground work that has been laid。 Hades did just seem to spend the entire book with a raging boner for Persephone, but it was hilarious nonetheless。 Recommended I actually enjoyed this book way more than a touch of darkness。 I found a touch of darkness wasn’t really to my taste, but a game of fate was set more in the world of the gods which I thoroughly enjoyed! So skilfully written。 Gorgeous。I can't wait to start the next book in the series。 I am hooked! I love Hades so damn much。 I might just do something bad so that he can chain me up in the underworld。And Persephone is awesome too。 I can't wait to see her become a powerful goddess。This saga has made me want Greek Mythology to become its own religion, does it still have worshippers? I would definitely join and offer up sacrifices to the gods ( especially to Persephone。。。and Hades too)。And the writing So skilfully written。 Gorgeous。I can't wait to start the next book in the series。 I am hooked! Please all romance authors do this and write the book again but through the perspective of the love interest。 It’s mutually beneficial; you get another book to publish and I get to enjoy it。 I thought I would like this book more than the original, told from Persephone’s perspective, but this book also has its faults。 For example, it leaves out large chunks of context, making it very hard for someone who hasn’t read the other book。 The way the other book was written, there were so many times when Please all romance authors do this and write the book again but through the perspective of the love interest。 It’s mutually beneficial; you get another book to publish and I get to enjoy it。 I thought I would like this book more than the original, told from Persephone’s perspective, but this book also has its faults。 For example, it leaves out large chunks of context, making it very hard for someone who hasn’t read the other book。 The way the other book was written, there were so many times when the author set up lots of potential for Hades’ angst but weren’t fully explored in this book。 I did like seeing the snarky, sassy side of Hades life apart from Persephone。 Overall, a great book。 。。。more
