Such a captivating, true to life book。 It reminded me a little of ‘Love, Rosie’ but on a bigger and wider scale。 Would recommend to anyone。

meh。 super predictable ending that had no build up or hints so didn’t feel satisfying and filled with unlikeable characters all the way through。 even the main two characters, although they are sweet & likeable, they just spend the whole book making terrible decisions which frustrated me so much! however, i kept turning the page and finished it pretty quickly as it’s an easy read。

This was my first and last Danielle Steel book。 I guess I don't fit her demographic。 I can't imagine why her books are so popular if this was indicative of her writing。 The characters seemed rather 2 dimensional and not able to even think for themselves, but instead were led around by the opinion and will of others。 The 'glamorous' main character jumped into bed with a string of men and ended up like we thought she would from about page 5。 I nearly quit reading this book several times, even thou This was my first and last Danielle Steel book。 I guess I don't fit her demographic。 I can't imagine why her books are so popular if this was indicative of her writing。 The characters seemed rather 2 dimensional and not able to even think for themselves, but instead were led around by the opinion and will of others。 The 'glamorous' main character jumped into bed with a string of men and ended up like we thought she would from about page 5。 I nearly quit reading this book several times, even though I have the type of personality that HAS to finish what I start。 But, I soldiered on。 At least I'm sure this is not an author I will get hooked on。 To each his own。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book has no character analysis。 Also, highly repetitive, she keeps repeating the same thing multiple times。 It was hard to read with Coco making the same mistake over and over again。

It enjoyed it! It had all of the feels。

This book was so boing and poorly written。 I gave up at chapter 10 and should have given up before chapter 5。 If the most 'graphic' intimate scene involves theaon character's husband cheating on her。。 there's someone seriously wrong。 You don't get invested in the book。 It doesn't get better。 This book was so boing and poorly written。 I gave up at chapter 10 and should have given up before chapter 5。 If the most 'graphic' intimate scene involves theaon character's husband cheating on her。。 there's someone seriously wrong。 You don't get invested in the book。 It doesn't get better。 。。。more

It had surprisingly been many years since I read a Danielle Steel book—I used to read them all the time as a young girl, and I guess it took me rummaging through the grocery store shelf to remember how much I loved her stories! Typical Danielle Steel。 Characters make stupid decisions and date awful people。

My first and last Danielle Steel book! Absolutely awful。 It was so rushed。 No details to what anyone looked like, has to make up their appearances in my head。 Garbage!

Oh my, I really enjoyed this book! Coco Martin is a typical Danielle Steel heroine, with looks, money, and a lifestyle to die for。 But what makes her story so interesting is that it's not so much about the tragedies that happen to her but the mistakes she makes and how she learns from them。 Yes, there are some typical Danielle Steel disasters。 I mean, you can always count on the Titanic to sink when a girl's parents are on board -- or if not, there's always a random terrorist attack at some posh Oh my, I really enjoyed this book! But this isn't a romance novel。 In a romance novel, fantastic sex always equals true love。 But Danielle Steel won't settle for that。 She captures how exciting the wrong guy can be, while showing all the reasons why Coco has to learn the hard way and move on。 At the end, not only did I respect Coco more than any heroine I'd met in a long time, but I could actually feel better about some of the mistakes I've made in my own life。 That's such a wonderful gift for an author to give a reader! 。。。more

A young woman tries to find security after the death of her parents but ends up living fairy tales until she finally realizes what is real and true。 The book was an easy read。

Marcia Silva

Interesting characters who took the long road around life to find each other。 Lots of real life scenarios with live and life and death but especially about how much influence parents have on their children。 Lessons to be learned throughout。 Loved the audio versions。

3 stars for being another pleasant, predictable, and relaxing Danielle Steele fairy tale。 Surprising for such a worldly writer, however, I found the Jewish stereotypes to be over the top, with absolutely no context to the meaning behind the characters behaviors or rituals。 I am generally not super sensitive about anti-Semitism, but somehow found this story steeped in "Jewish Mother" stereotype with shallow characters。Still shaking my head。 3 stars for being another pleasant, predictable, and relaxing Danielle Steele fairy tale。 Surprising for such a worldly writer, however, I found the Jewish stereotypes to be over the top, with absolutely no context to the meaning behind the characters behaviors or rituals。 I am generally not super sensitive about anti-Semitism, but somehow found this story steeped in "Jewish Mother" stereotype with shallow characters。Still shaking my head。 。。。more

This was a great story。 The many romances have you thinking when are the right people going to realize who they were。 The ending is good and leaves you happy。

The storyline was pretty good but I disliked the writing style and found the book highly repetitive。 The ending seemed rushed and overall I found the main character naive and annoying。 Nonetheless, I could relate to some aspects of this book。

I’ve never given a book one star before。 But if I could I’d give it zero。 This book was highly offensive。 Steel repeatedly uses a variety of negative stereotypes about Orthodox Jewish lifestyle, which is a beautiful, kind way of living。 If this had been written such about Muslims, blacks, etc, she would be forced to take the books out of print。 I’m appalled at how she felt so brazen to do this。 Is she just trying to jump on the 'Unorthodox' bandwagon to make a buck?
