Goofy ReadThis was not just a Student Handbook, but a lot of notes and interviews from our favorite School for Good and Evil characters。 It was so silly I couldnt take it seriously, but it was good read for a laugh。 Any SGE fans would love this。 Its too bad the kindle edition didn't let me highlight things for there were many funny quotes。 Got three stars because it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything amazing either, solid 3 because it was a fun read。 Goofy ReadThis was not just a Student Handbook, but a lot of notes and interviews from our favorite School for Good and Evil characters。 It was so silly I couldnt take it seriously, but it was good read for a laugh。 Any SGE fans would love this。 Its too bad the kindle edition didn't let me highlight things for there were many funny quotes。 Got three stars because it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything amazing either, solid 3 because it was a fun read。 。。。more

An interesting read, and if it weren't for me seeing some of the pictures on pinterest before, my experience would have been better。 My favorite part would be the one where Sophie and friends sat on the Clearing and talked about stuff and then Dot said something about the No Ball and how Sophie and Hort did a quick dance and then Sophie whispered something into Hort but then Sophie denied it。 But at the end of the conversation Sophie said she remembered it and finally genuinely smiled at Hort an An interesting read, and if it weren't for me seeing some of the pictures on pinterest before, my experience would have been better。 My favorite part would be the one where Sophie and friends sat on the Clearing and talked about stuff and then Dot said something about the No Ball and how Sophie and Hort did a quick dance and then Sophie whispered something into Hort but then Sophie denied it。 But at the end of the conversation Sophie said she remembered it and finally genuinely smiled at Hort and that made Hort smile all the way until the sun had set。 I also like the part where the White Witch was quite fetching in her days。 And how could I forget the FAQ part, that was really interesting and of course the questions were taken from the fandom itself。 I was really surprised that the first and third question was actually answered。 。。。more

I am very disappointed by this。 “Though we prefer boys to play boys and girls play girls for the sake of simplicity”。 I have followed this series for years and this was extremely upsetting to read。

A fun book to own。 this book gives a deeper look into the schools。 With brilliant drawings by Michael Blank。 The handbook is what the students at the school would be given but this particular one has scribbles and notes from Hester inside。 This book also has Easter eggs of what is to come in the next book。

The Ever Never Handbook。Soman Chainani has an impeccable style of writing。 With a variety of ways of getting stories and points across。 The Ever Never Handbook serves as a delightful complement to the series, being entertaining, interesting and informative (pertaining to the series) all at the same time。

The books gives so many details and information that I absolutely enjoy。 I was kind of dissapointed of Beatrix's illustration。 The illustration fails to capture the beuty that the book described her to be。 Overall I find this handbook useful for story telling as it has beautiful colors and details that can seize many attentions。 The books gives so many details and information that I absolutely enjoy。 I was kind of dissapointed of Beatrix's illustration。 The illustration fails to capture the beuty that the book described her to be。 Overall I find this handbook useful for story telling as it has beautiful colors and details that can seize many attentions。 。。。more

Imaginative and creative insight of the School for Good and Evil world! There were quirky and fun details that I adored to read, from services of the Groom Room, school supply list for good and evil students, and uniform illustrations。 This handbook is also useful for guiding you through the actual series of School for good and evil!

I thought it was a hilarious addition to the School for Good and Evil series that added a lot to the series。 This book should be read after the first section of the series (in between the 3rd and 4th book) since it has some spoilers for the first half of the series, but it can also be read after the 5th or 6th book without it changing anything。 I loved the pictures and comments that Hester made since it was incredibly fun to read! I would totally suggest this to fans of the series。

Helps the "new students"Even though I just said "helps the 'new students'" I don't literally mean new students。 I just meant like it's a really good book to read if you decide to enroll in the school for good and evil@school4goodenable。com。 Though I must give you a warning, especially if you're like me and have only read the first three books。 If you haven't read the whole book series be ready for couple of spoilers。 Helps the "new students"Even though I just said "helps the 'new students'" I don't literally mean new students。 I just meant like it's a really good book to read if you decide to enroll in the school for good and evil@school4goodenable。com。 Though I must give you a warning, especially if you're like me and have only read the first three books。 If you haven't read the whole book series be ready for couple of spoilers。 。。。more

3。5 stars I would say I enjoyed it, and I think I would recommend this companion book to anyone that just wants something extra to read from this world, and wants to know more。 It is filled with details on how the school runs, it's students, teachers, deans, alumni, and how quests work。 ⚠️DISCLAIMER- if you have not read the first 3 books, and decide to read this, you will be spoiled for a lot of stuff Personally some parts I found funny and enjoyable to read ( Hester's additions, student infor 3。5 stars I would say I enjoyed it, and I think I would recommend this companion book to anyone that just wants something extra to read from this world, and wants to know more。 It is filled with details on how the school runs, it's students, teachers, deans, alumni, and how quests work。 ⚠️DISCLAIMER- if you have not read the first 3 books, and decide to read this, you will be spoiled for a lot of stuff Personally some parts I found funny and enjoyable to read ( Hester's additions, student information) and others I found boring or annoying ( Sophie's additions and letters, Rules of the school, class information)。 The parts I found boring I just skimmed over, but even if I didn't, this is an incredibly fast read that you could probably finish in a sitting。 The art was really interesting and really added a lot to the book, though I must admit, based on my taste, not all the pieces were my favorite。 But to quote litterly every teacher I have had " I am not an artist" so I don't think I should be critical of that。-A big thing I also want to point out is this book has plot holes, including the fact that in this book, Sophie knows about the quest to find the new school master before Hester Dot and Anadil go on it, but she doesn't in the original series, until later on when it's accidently reveled to her。- Sophie is especially annoying and arrogant in this。 So if you are the person that perhaps isn't her biggest fan, than I would advise you to just skip or skim her parts。 end of review 。。。more

"The Ever Never Handbook" is a functional counterbalance to the sparkling mythology of the School For Good And Evil series。 It is both straightforward and shrewd, providing darkly humorous insight into the characters and the many changes they have brought to the series: outward (Sophie) and inward (Agatha)。 Though I have heard that it is inconsistent with the latter trilogy of the series, The Camelot Years, I appreciate the logic behind a decision to pivot。 As with any good franchise, School For "The Ever Never Handbook" is a functional counterbalance to the sparkling mythology of the School For Good And Evil series。 It is both straightforward and shrewd, providing darkly humorous insight into the characters and the many changes they have brought to the series: outward (Sophie) and inward (Agatha)。 Though I have heard that it is inconsistent with the latter trilogy of the series, The Camelot Years, I appreciate the logic behind a decision to pivot。 As with any good franchise, School For Good And Evil can feel crowded at times, and this handbook was perhaps the best outlet for all of those extra world-building details。 The illustrations and letters between the characters are admirably creative。 I wish there was almost a spinoff series written in this style as opposed to an actual novel。 Thankfully, the series itself does an excellent job of incorporating sketches, maps, portraits, letters, and other forms of media。This handbook's saving grace is that it is unfailingly likable, even if it is unnecessary。 If you're looking to recap, this is a vital book。 But if you're looking for magic, I'd look no further than the School (series) itself。 。。。more

This was really fun to read! But I did end up spoiling some things for myself for the rest of the series :p
