Ooh, that book of secrets had me whizzing through the chapters。 ‘I Know What You’ve Done’ is slick, full of intrigue and packed with characters that all have a story to tell and secrets to hide。 The stakes are high and the levels of desperation in these characters renders this an addictive read。 I found Rae easy to identify with。 Family woman, lovely house and children。 The moment Priscilla turns up, the book screams that everything is about to end up in the air and it did not disappoint。 There Ooh, that book of secrets had me whizzing through the chapters。 ‘I Know What You’ve Done’ is slick, full of intrigue and packed with characters that all have a story to tell and secrets to hide。 The stakes are high and the levels of desperation in these characters renders this an addictive read。 I found Rae easy to identify with。 Family woman, lovely house and children。 The moment Priscilla turns up, the book screams that everything is about to end up in the air and it did not disappoint。 There are shocks around every corner。I love that the book was set in Brighton。 The descriptions were so good, I had this great image in my head of the street。 I totally enjoyed the diary extracts too。 Fantastic。 If you love secrets, lies and a web of a plot, then do not hesitate to get this book。 It will give you that and more! 。。。more

Overall not a bad book。 I found it quite confusing at times when it kept flicking between each characters perspective but I was mostly hooked on what was going to happen next。 And I didn't expect the ending either Overall not a bad book。 I found it quite confusing at times when it kept flicking between each characters perspective but I was mostly hooked on what was going to happen next。 And I didn't expect the ending either 。。。more

Enjoyed it but found the ending a little predictable and too open ended!

4 stars but with an underwhelming-ish ending? idk far too many sex scenes for a mystery/suspense book

Interruptions galore, had to wait till 25th to re-start and gobble to the end。 Read the whole thing like a Sky telly thriller, and not giving away any spoilers,it was top notch one of Ms Kooomson's finest。Scuba deep/A Pipe dream by Shakka ft Tiana Major 9 Interruptions galore, had to wait till 25th to re-start and gobble to the end。 Read the whole thing like a Sky telly thriller, and not giving away any spoilers,it was top notch one of Ms Kooomson's finest。Scuba deep/A Pipe dream by Shakka ft Tiana Major 9 。。。more

Easy to read, held my interest but nothing original about it。 Nosey, unlikeable woman keeping track of the neighbours and ending up dead。 Heard it all before。

Really good twist- keeps you guessing right to the end

A woman lives in a very highly desirable area in a culdesac in Brighton。 But things there are not what they seem and she keeps a diary of all the goings on of her neighbours。 One of her neighbours finds out what she is doing and tries to kill her。 But which neighbour is it? What secrets do her neighbours hide? A riveting story。

A cracking read。I thought this was better than previous ones by this author, with all the annoying repetition within the text kept to a minimum this time。 Perhaps the author has a new editor? That said, it might be confusing for someone to listen to, with so much jumping backwards and forwards in time。I personally would never withhold evidence from the police, let alone twice, but without that there would have been no story。

This book was so addictive! I had picked it up from the library and kept putting it to the bottom of the pile, not being that drawn in by the story line but boy was I wrong! As soon as I started I could not stop, it was so addictive and such a page turner I finished it in one sitting。 Loved it

Omg!What a book! I was reading it with such intensity。 It definitely took my attention from hating and loving characters since the begging。 It is amazing how Dorothy has surprised me since the first book I read。 I was quite young, and now as an adult, I love her books even more and learn with the dynamics presented in the books in various household dramas and with black and brown protagonists。

This is my first Dorothy Koomson book。 I really liked the characters but the middle of the book was endless。 I would’ve rated it a 3 but then。。。。。。can’t say anything more without giving away the ending!

Deceipt and Lies in a small communityHow well do you really know your neighbours? Their pasts, and what they would do to protect themselves? This book delves into what goes on behind the twitching curtains and the seemingly innocuous lives that people portray to the world, when deep inside there are secrets to be revealed。 Secrets that could damage。 Another story by Dorothy Koomson, the undisputed Queen of the thriller

This book taught me one thing。。 I’m an impatient reader。I love books like this。 Having read many Dorothy Koomson books I know she’s the queen of the big reveal。 The queen of not having a clue what your reading about and uncovering it tiny piece by tiny piece until you get the full picture at the end。 I knew what I was getting myself in for。But I’m impatient。That’s why I find these books enjoyable but oh so frustrating。 I have to be in the mood for one of these books。 But if you find yourself int This book taught me one thing。。 I’m an impatient reader。I love books like this。 Having read many Dorothy Koomson books I know she’s the queen of the big reveal。 The queen of not having a clue what your reading about and uncovering it tiny piece by tiny piece until you get the full picture at the end。 I knew what I was getting myself in for。But I’m impatient。That’s why I find these books enjoyable but oh so frustrating。 I have to be in the mood for one of these books。 But if you find yourself intrigued by the premise of the book and you are a little bit less impatient than me then I would highly recommend it! 。。。more

Yet another wonderful novel。 I have enjoyed everyone one of her novels, Dorothy Koomson really understands human facets and the emotions that make them up。 Her characters are always well rounded for the reader but without all the flowery unnecessary detail。 Waiting for her next novel now。

Not one of her best。 Found myself getting a bit lost and didnt enjoy the constant change of narrative & perspective from different characters。

Dorothy Koomson back at her best, although I have enjoyed her last couple of books I felt she had wrote better, but this one was brilliant。 Everything happens on one street, we are introduced to some of the residents, all with a secret to hide, and one of them a murderer。 A really good storyline, going from one person to another, hearing their voices and eventually unraveling their secrets。 It was really easy to read, with a fantastic plot, filled with twists and turns until the final twist at t Dorothy Koomson back at her best, although I have enjoyed her last couple of books I felt she had wrote better, but this one was brilliant。 Everything happens on one street, we are introduced to some of the residents, all with a secret to hide, and one of them a murderer。 A really good storyline, going from one person to another, hearing their voices and eventually unraveling their secrets。 It was really easy to read, with a fantastic plot, filled with twists and turns until the final twist at the end。 。。。more

This book is a delight of secrets and lies with a ton of shenanigans going on behind closed doors of the financially privileged in a popular seaside (not so) small town on the south coast of England。 And 🤩, what a reveal at the end - which is left very much open ended。 There was so much going on here, including a very unhinged ex, and yes, a couple of minor plot holes (including the 'romantic' dynamic with lusty Dunstan, which seemed to me to come out of thin air), BUT the final twist。。。 I NEVER This book is a delight of secrets and lies with a ton of shenanigans going on behind closed doors of the financially privileged in a popular seaside (not so) small town on the south coast of England。 And 🤩, what a reveal at the end - which is left very much open ended。 There was so much going on here, including a very unhinged ex, and yes, a couple of minor plot holes (including the 'romantic' dynamic with lusty Dunstan, which seemed to me to come out of thin air), BUT the final twist。。。 I NEVER saw that one coming but in hindsight, with the foreshadowing, it should have at least been a tickle in the back of my mind。 And I loved that it came so very late in the game too。 I had thought that I knew who 'dunnit' and I was sooooo wrong! It's great to find a book where the majority of the characters are 40+, but as I've said many a time, them not moaning and groaning that they are past it。 Far from it - some of these characters were still very much 'young' and vibrant。 One issue I had aside from a couple of very minor plot holes, was a very fleeting mention of one of the characters mentions being called a slut and the other person apologised for it despite that NOT being what they said to her。 (I'm particularly sensitive to that as slut shaming is one of my biggest pet peeves, by far, and I've come across it a couple of times recently in books where it was a disappointment to see because they were otherwise mostly great reads)。To say that this book was a page-turner that kept me invested and intrigued from start to finish is putting it mildly。 It is a reminder to pick up more from Dorothy Koomson as it has been a while since I last read anything by her。 。。。more

If you like contemporary mystery/suspense novels with delicious plot twists, then this Koomson book is for you。 If you are already a fan of Dorothy Koomson, you will definitely not be disappointed。 The story is well paced and the characters are well drawn。 I listened to this while on my daily hike and could never turn it off when I got back to my house。 Read other Goodreads reviews for a plot summary, etc。 But count me as giving it a resounding two thumbs up。 'Nuff said。 If you like contemporary mystery/suspense novels with delicious plot twists, then this Koomson book is for you。 If you are already a fan of Dorothy Koomson, you will definitely not be disappointed。 The story is well paced and the characters are well drawn。 I listened to this while on my daily hike and could never turn it off when I got back to my house。 Read other Goodreads reviews for a plot summary, etc。 But count me as giving it a resounding two thumbs up。 'Nuff said。 。。。more
