The story talks about Greg Heffley and his family's summer holiday road trip。 The focus is on their misfortunes during their trip, and how they solve them。 The family is so unlucky that they burst into a fish hatchery, come across a bear and a skunk, and even fill the camper van with water。 Things can't get any worse, they manage to save their holiday at Campers' Eden。 When all people move out the campsite, Greg and his family finally enjoy the summer paradise。 The most humorous part begins when The story talks about Greg Heffley and his family's summer holiday road trip。 The focus is on their misfortunes during their trip, and how they solve them。 The family is so unlucky that they burst into a fish hatchery, come across a bear and a skunk, and even fill the camper van with water。 Things can't get any worse, they manage to save their holiday at Campers' Eden。 When all people move out the campsite, Greg and his family finally enjoy the summer paradise。 The most humorous part begins when a flash of lightening strikes the bridge leading to Campers' Eden。 This makes everyone crazy to grab everything in the campsite because the trucks can't replenish the supplies。 Meanwhile Greg and his family get skunked, making things even worse。 Luckily, Manny drives the camper van that snaps into place where the broken bridge is and shoots off the flare gun to get help。 After all this catastrophes, the family is the biggest winner。 I think they must have a wasted trip, but they make up the leeway in the end。Of all the characters, I like the group of friends Greg meets at the summer camp most because they bring me lots of laughter。 They are fun-loving pranksters when they squirt shampoo on the guy's scalp again and again。 Since they know all the ins and outs of the place, they can easily stay out of the way after mischief-making。 I would like to make friends like them in such an unfamiliar place。 I am sure I can have a lot of fun playing with them。Overall this book is laughter guaranteed and it is better than the previous books。 I think this book will remain as my long-time favourite book。 I also hope that there will be another new book coming soon! 。。。more

This book was intriguing and was very eye-catching once I saw it was out i got it start away! I read each of the DOAWK books for these reasons: they’re quick reads, I want to know what my students are interested in (5th grade), and, to be honest, to help me meet my yearly book goal。 And I feel the same about pretty much every one of these books: I like the very beginning as we find out what’s going on with Greg。 But then, as the book goes on, Greg’s never ending immaturity wears very thin and I just want to be done reading it。 It must be tricky to know what to do with Greg。 He was a midd I read each of the DOAWK books for these reasons: they’re quick reads, I want to know what my students are interested in (5th grade), and, to be honest, to help me meet my yearly book goal。 And I feel the same about pretty much every one of these books: I like the very beginning as we find out what’s going on with Greg。 But then, as the book goes on, Greg’s never ending immaturity wears very thin and I just want to be done reading it。 It must be tricky to know what to do with Greg。 He was a middle school student at the start of the series。 He must have aged by now。 But he doesn’t seem to be growing up at all。 It’s like he’s perpetually the same age。 Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be, like Charlie Brown。 But it would be nice to see Greg grow up a bit。 。。。more

The story was different than the other DOAWK books, including more Biblical content that didn't read unbiassed (especially in a non-Christian childrens' book)。 Overall, the storyline felt more elaborated but not in a good way。 It felt like the author kept adding more events to the story。 but there wasn't any cohesiveness to it all and it ended up feeling jumbled。 Hopefully the next book is better! Just like the other Jeff Kinney books , it’s good。 It’s simple, it’s witty, it’s fun。 It is a kids book, I recommend this book for anyone from the age of 7 - 10。 Nonetheless adults can enjoy this book, it’s a lighthearted book from a child’s perspective。

Overall I am such a big fan of the series as I am able to see how they are still able to continue the series after a great amount of years I love the concept and formatting of these stories as we are able to visualize and see the different artistic point of view。

Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Deep End by Jeff Kinney is a great book。 Greg and his family are ready for an RV vacation for the summer。 Sadly, their vacation becomes not so much of a vacation, and they are left with only themselves。 When the weather turns bad, and food starts running out, they see if they can enjoy their vacation, or if its too late。

This is a fun book when you are tired of reading anything meaningful。 The language is simple。 The story is full of silliness that might entertain you if you appreciate references to poop, toilets, underwear, and bad smells。 Greg's behavior is not as horrible in this book as it is in others written by Kinney。 Instead, many unfortunate occurrences plague an apparently cursed family。 However, it does have a nice ending phrase, "。。。because you should never let the truth get in the way of a good stor This is a fun book when you are tired of reading anything meaningful。 The language is simple。 The story is full of silliness that might entertain you if you appreciate references to poop, toilets, underwear, and bad smells。 Greg's behavior is not as horrible in this book as it is in others written by Kinney。 Instead, many unfortunate occurrences plague an apparently cursed family。 However, it does have a nice ending phrase, "。。。because you should never let the truth get in the way of a good story," and the final illustration called to me。 。。。more
