Great and full of feelings

I love having a story form Feathertail's point of view, especially since it addresses the repercussions of the events in the first series, without bringing in too much new drama。 It provides closure for some plot points and gives voice to misgivings I've had about Leopardstar since I began revisiting the series a couple of years ago。 Also, I love the colorful backgrounds, especially the way skies and trees are drawn! This manga is just amazing。 I would have loved to read sooo much more of it。 I really felt sooo sad for this main cat and I can totally understand her mistrust to her clan。

Mikaela Garcia

Finally, I can follow Feathertail POV after The battle against Bloodclan and how she felt about her clan and Leader betrayal。

My kids really like this series, so I started reading it with them。 It is an interesting world of cats。

This book was honestly pointless。 I don't really get why we saw this。 Having books where we just get someone else's POV of the same events we've seen already isn't very compelling to me。 I did like seeing Feathertail and Sasha's friendship, but I genuinely didn't see the point of this book。 This book was honestly pointless。 I don't really get why we saw this。 Having books where we just get someone else's POV of the same events we've seen already isn't very compelling to me。 I did like seeing Feathertail and Sasha's friendship, but I genuinely didn't see the point of this book。 。。。more

This book was amazing! My favourite character is hawkpaw! I like how he was the son of the bad guy and how he made the story go on! And how he kept feather tail on the watch! The story was sort of emotional! But I still liked it! My favourite manga out of this series is raven paws path! It was a great book! how they fought for there home!🐺🤓

I've been reading and loving this series for ten years now and I'm still happy about every new book that is released up until this day。 Even if this one isn't exactly brand new anymore (because at first, I had the stupid idea that I could wait for the German-language edition so that the collection of the “Warrior Cats” comic books would look more uniform, but that took too long for me, especially after I've heard a lot of good stuff about it)。The book has really beautiful pictures once again and I've been reading and loving this series for ten years now and I'm still happy about every new book that is released up until this day。 Even if this one isn't exactly brand new anymore (because at first, I had the stupid idea that I could wait for the German-language edition so that the collection of the “Warrior Cats” comic books would look more uniform, but that took too long for me, especially after I've heard a lot of good stuff about it)。The book has really beautiful pictures once again and the fact that they are printed in colour only makes it all the better (I did not expect that, when the book arrived and was positively surprised)。 The pictures looked great and the territory of the RiverClan was displayed in a fantastic way, which, for me, is a nice addition with more details to this huge world of the clans。The story itself has an interesting point of conflict that has also been very well addressed。 The books are all intended for younger readers, but I generally like about this series that it doesn't shy away from a more serious or gloomy tone。Feathertail herself is a classic favourite of the second series of books, but she was never really developed very deeply (she was still not a flat book character, but she was just never fully the focus), which is now changing here。 I like that very much, because this expansion was good for her。Then there is the setting。 First of all, it was long overdue for RiverClan to be a little more in focus again, even if it does not take place during the current seventh series。 Secondly, it's a real nostalgic kick for me, because it takes place between series one and two and therefore logically also addresses the topics of these series and I felt like I was transported back to ten years ago。Therefore, this additional comic is not the right one for a newcomer to start with the series, but it fits perfectly between the first and second season without being spoiled。All in all, I can only recommend the book。 For me, as a huge fan of the series, this comic is a really nice addition to all the books and for me it is further proof that the series still shows potential and also uses it for new additions even after so many years (the fact that I read it within around 30 minutes proves this as well)。 I give it five stars。 。。。more

I adored seeing some character development for Feathertail! In the main series I found her to be pretty boring, but here she actually has some depth。

Its crazy to think how long its been since the last manga。 This one is Feathertail before she went on her journey, during a time when they are trying to rebuild after Tigerstar。 Feathertail feels like she doesn't belong in Riverclan anymore, she feels like she can't be a part of the clan and closes herself off from them。 When she meets Sasha, things begin to change and she finds a friend she can speak too who has lived outside the clan。 That's what this is showing us。 The artwork is amazing and Its crazy to think how long its been since the last manga。 This one is Feathertail before she went on her journey, during a time when they are trying to rebuild after Tigerstar。 Feathertail feels like she doesn't belong in Riverclan anymore, she feels like she can't be a part of the clan and closes herself off from them。 When she meets Sasha, things begin to change and she finds a friend she can speak too who has lived outside the clan。 That's what this is showing us。 The artwork is amazing and the storyline feels like you are reading the normal novels。 I'm glad they are bringing this back and giving us side stories from a perspective we would of never thought about。 。。。more

I did not think I was going to read another Warriors book after The Last Hope came out on April 3rd, 2012, but here I am exactly nine years later, reviewing a Warriors graphic novel。 I am happy to say that A Shadow in Riverclan was incredible and reminded me of everything I love about the vicious series that made me afraid of cats as a child。 Fans of the Warriors series will not be disappointed by the big themes this novel tackles and the heart this book possesses。What I enjoyed:-This novel has I did not think I was going to read another Warriors book after The Last Hope came out on April 3rd, 2012, but here I am exactly nine years later, reviewing a Warriors graphic novel。 I am happy to say that A Shadow in Riverclan was incredible and reminded me of everything I love about the vicious series that made me afraid of cats as a child。 Fans of the Warriors series will not be disappointed by the big themes this novel tackles and the heart this book possesses。What I enjoyed:-This novel has so much to say about forgiveness and what it means to forgive someone who has harmed you in the past。 I appreciated how this book never shamed the main character for struggling to forgive their former abuser, but more highlighted the importance of letting go of anger in order to move on and acknowledge when someone is truly making an effort to change。 This portrayal of forgiveness is a difficult balance to achieve, especially in stories targeted at a younger audience, but the author managed to convey this nuanced perspective impressively。-The art is wonderful。 Emotions are exhibited so clearly and the backgrounds were absolutely gorgeous。 I loved reading a Warriors graphic novel in full color。 From what I remember, most of the previous manga were black-and-white, which is completely fine, but it is cool seeing a Warriors story in color。 -The plot is well-paced and never felt too slow or fast。 I remember reading the Avatar: The Last Airbender graphic novels and feeling disappointed by how rushed some of the story-lines felt。 This graphic novel did a good job quickly setting up an intriguing plot and then branching out from there in an entertaining and riveting way。 What I thought could be better:-This is a general issue with the whole Warriors series, but it was definitely difficult here。 I had a hard time figuring out which character was which and some characters who do have multiple scenes aren't even named, which made the story a bit confusing to follow at times。 Overall, A Shadow in Riverclan is a wonderful read that will excite all Warriors fans, whether old or new。 I highly recommend giving this graphic novel a try。 After reading this book, I am looking forward to reading any future Warriors graphic novel。 。。。more

Big kudos to these books for addressing trauma and how it effects different characters。

Strange, but compelling Who knew a book about cat warriors and cat clans would be so entertaining。 I’m not a big cat person nor am I into fantasy like this, but I read it cover to cover because it was so engaging。 Obviously I’m not alone in this feeling because of the number of books in this series!

I liked this manga, I never knew how Feathertail felt about Leopardstar, I found it very interesting。

I love everyone related to Crookedstar (except like, his mom) and Feathertail is no exception! I’m soooooooo glad we got a graphic novel that expanded on her character, and with beautiful art too! I would give this 10 stars if I could。

This book was very eventful, and I think it is a very good story ESPECIALLY for cat people。 This graphic novel is based off of the Warrior Cats series。 This is probably one of my favorite books! It is mystery, and it is fantasy。 This is a good book for 5th-6th graders because some of its concepts could be hard to understand for younger children, and it could be a little young for 7th or 8th graders。 I hope you enjoy it if you choose to read it!!

I love this book got it for Christmas and am shocked by the skill of the drawings I also like how when reading the warrior cats you have a range of options so for less confident readers this book is perfect

So cute!! I really liked the friendship between Feathertail and Sasha。 The ending was so sweet, and it really did fit in well with what happens in the first New Prophecy book。

I really enjoyed this book! Feathertail has always been one of my favorite characters, and I do wish that she had been given more attention before she died。 I’m glad that we finally get to see a bit more about her life before Midnight and how she coped with returning to RiverClan without Graystripe after the Great Battle。

This was so good! i have read all Warriors comics except for the Skyclan series, and i have to say that this is probably the best out of them。 It shows a side of Feathertail, a minor character in my opinion, and what she did before she is later a protagonist in the second series。 The books touch up a lot on the cats' feelings, and what these events have done to them。 Its a great touch on depression in the books, and makes you feel closer/relating more to an important character。 It had great stor This was so good! i have read all Warriors comics except for the Skyclan series, and i have to say that this is probably the best out of them。 It shows a side of Feathertail, a minor character in my opinion, and what she did before she is later a protagonist in the second series。 The books touch up a lot on the cats' feelings, and what these events have done to them。 Its a great touch on depression in the books, and makes you feel closer/relating more to an important character。 It had great storytelling, good panels and i think the art has improved。 。。。more

I was glad to see another side of Feathertail which was depicted accurately according to her personality and to the events during that timeframe。 The manga really expanded on Feathertail’s feelings about where she belongs and her perception of her own past and her leader。 It was really realistic and not boring at all。 After I finished this, I realized that following the dream from Oakheart, she will go on the journey to the Sun-Drown Place and eventually die on the way back due to the cats’ deto I was glad to see another side of Feathertail which was depicted accurately according to her personality and to the events during that timeframe。 The manga really expanded on Feathertail’s feelings about where she belongs and her perception of her own past and her leader。 It was really realistic and not boring at all。 After I finished this, I realized that following the dream from Oakheart, she will go on the journey to the Sun-Drown Place and eventually die on the way back due to the cats’ detour toward the Tribe Cats in the Mountains and her role in their prophecy。 It’s so sad that her life ended so quickly, however, I believe it worked out for her because if she had lived, her loyalties would have been torn again because of her love for Crowfeather; making it impossible for her to stay loyal to one clan。 Thus making her life more difficult and depressed。 Anyway, this was a nice manga。 Excited for the next one! 。。。more
