Meghan – Een biografie werpt een blik in het leven van de hertogin van Sussex。 Het is de interessante， openhartige biografie over Rachel Meghan Markle， een gescheiden， halfbloed， Amerikaanse actrice die opgroeide in een enigszins disfunctioneel gezin， maar wel gesteund en geliefd， voordat ze in een succesvolle tv-serie verscheen en uiteindelijk het hart veroverde van een Britse prins。Meghan – Een biografie de nieuwe bijgewerkte Nederlandse uitgave， bevat de meest recente gebeurtenissen met betre Meghan – Een biografie werpt een blik in het leven van de hertogin van Sussex。 Het is de interessante， openhartige biografie over Rachel Meghan Markle， een gescheiden， halfbloed， Amerikaanse actrice die opgroeide in een enigszins disfunctioneel gezin， maar wel gesteund en geliefd， voordat ze in een succesvolle tv-serie verscheen en uiteindelijk het hart veroverde van een Britse prins。Meghan – Een biografie de nieuwe bijgewerkte Nederlandse uitgave， bevat de meest recente gebeurtenissen met betrekking Meghan en Harry en de monarchie van 2021。 Het geeft een inzichtelijke kijk op een sterke， onafhankelijke vrouw， haar strijd om een beetje privacy en vrijheid te behouden nadat ze is getrouwd met haar prins en te maken kreeg met een instelling die wordt bestuurd door traditie， imago en verantwoordelijkheid。Het is een biografie die waarschijnlijk niet met de medewerking van Meghan tot stand is gekomen。 Dat is misschien maar goed ook。 Nu heeft de auteur de mogelijkheid het verhaal rond Meghan van alle kanten te belichten。 Het is zeker geen pro Meghan boek。 Haar goede en slechte kanten komen ruimschoots aanbod。 Uiteraard ontbreekt het beruchte interview met Oprah niet。 Een interview dat veel stof doen heeft opwaaien en voor de velen het ware gezicht van Meghan toonde。Al lezend kom je tot de conclusie dat Meghan in alles prinses Diana probeert te evenaren of te overtreffen。 Een Diana 2。0。。 Goed doen voor de mensheid， een goed streven， maar niet als een Diana 2。0。 Trouwen met een prins， ja dan zou je moeten weten waar je aan begint。 Dan kun je niet na verloop van tijd zeggen “Dit leven past niet bij me， kom my love we vertrekken naar elders”。 Trouwen binnen The Firm betekent het landsbelang gaat voor je privéleven。 Daarnaast wordt in het boek maar eens bevestigd hoe tegenstrijdig de uitspraken van Meghan en Harry zijn。 Echter， wat het meest opvalt aan het hele verhaal is dat hun leven alleen maar om Diana lijkt te gaan。 Natuurlijk is begrijpelijk dat Harry zijn moeder levend wil houden maar dit gaat ver。Harry is bang dat Meghan hetzelfde lot beschoren is als Diana， dan moeten ze vooral niet het gedrag van Diana gaan kopiëren。 Ze wilden rust， geen verplichtingen， geen pers etc… Naïef om te denken dat je dat kunt realiseren als een Royal。 Geen pers。。 maar wel in Amerika telkens de aandacht vragen door middel van interviews。 De geschiedenis herhaalt zich wat dat betreft met Diana。 Dat is nu juist wat Harry niet wilde。。 Het is een pluspunt voor het boek dat het juist deze gebeurtenissen belicht。 Het is beter dat dit koppel Diana wat meer los laat。Samengevat : Een complete biografie van Meghan die met haar leugens en vergeetachtigheid veel teweeg heeft gebracht。 Goede bedoelingen zeker， maar niet als een Diana 2。0。 Meghan had beter vanaf het begin bij zichzelf moeten blijven。 Het boek is op een boeiende en vlotte manier geschreven。 Dat kun je ook wel overlaten aan Andrew Morton。 Het boek oogt verzorgt en bevat ook de nodige foto’s van Meghan。 Deze bijgewerkte versie is zeker een aanrader als je blanco er in stapt。 。 Fan van Meghan， nee niet bepaald， maar als een liefhebber van Royalty hoor je ook de boeken te lezen van koninklijke personen die je minder mag of liggen。 Alleen zo krijg je een goed beeld voor jezelf van de monarchie。 Op de vraag of het goed komt tussen dit paar en de The Firm？ Niet zolang Meghan Harry meesleept in haar gedraai en het nastreven van Diana。 。。。more

This wasn't my first go ahead at reading about Meghan Markle。 My first literary introduction to Meghan was in Finding Freedom by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand。 This biography I feel was even more enjoyable since it dealt with a thorough look at her early life before meeting Harry。 I didn't rate this book 5 stars due to the feeling of bias towards the end of the book of Meghan being the culprit of the dissolution of her royal status。 That rubbed me the wrong way a tad。 This wasn't my first go ahead at reading about Meghan Markle。 My first literary introduction to Meghan was in Finding Freedom by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand。 This biography I feel was even more enjoyable since it dealt with a thorough look at her early life before meeting Harry。 I didn't rate this book 5 stars due to the feeling of bias towards the end of the book of Meghan being the culprit of the dissolution of her royal status。 That rubbed me the wrong way a tad。 。。。more

I do not think this portrayed Meghan Markle in the best light and was too gossipy and one-sided like a tabloid。 I feel like if I was ever friends with a celebrity， she would be one of them because she is down to earth and sensitive。 That is the only redeeming qualities of this book。 Amazing a friend set her up on a blind date， and it ended up being Prince Harry。 She does deserve to be happy。I thought this was poorly written and one-sided。 Definitely not the best biography or depiction of Markle。

I found this to be a very interesting take on Meghan Markle and her experiences with the Royal Family。 The beginning of the book is much more detailed and dense than the last half。 The 2nd half seemed to be more of a summary of reports and previous articles but I did find the comparisons to Princess Diana fascinating and very sad at the same time。 I found the author's writing to be confusing in his bias。 At times it felt very defensive of Meghan and then would flip to seem as if he was implying I found this to be a very interesting take on Meghan Markle and her experiences with the Royal Family。 The beginning of the book is much more detailed and dense than the last half。 The 2nd half seemed to be more of a summary of reports and previous articles but I did find the comparisons to Princess Diana fascinating and very sad at the same time。 I found the author's writing to be confusing in his bias。 At times it felt very defensive of Meghan and then would flip to seem as if he was implying she was manipulative and not truthful。 Overall， if you keep up with the royal family， this will definitely be an interesting and entertaining read！Thanks to Grand Central Publishing for a gifted copy。My reviews can also be seen at www。instagram。com/justonemoorebook。 。。。more

I was so happy to finish this book。 I feel bad as this was a present from my partner for Christmas because he knew I was desperate to read Andrew Morton's Diana book & he knows how much I like Meghan Markle。 But this book was just complete tabloid-style gossip， sensationalising the most trivial of events。 I don't feel I know any more about Meghan than I did when I first started reading。 The only thing I did like about the book was when it was describing how Meghan and Prince Harry met and their I was so happy to finish this book。 I feel bad as this was a present from my partner for Christmas because he knew I was desperate to read Andrew Morton's Diana book & he knows how much I like Meghan Markle。 But this book was just complete tabloid-style gossip， sensationalising the most trivial of events。 I don't feel I know any more about Meghan than I did when I first started reading。 The only thing I did like about the book was when it was describing how Meghan and Prince Harry met and their secret relationship simply enjoying each other's company。 Outside of just a bit of a warm fuzzy feeling of enjoying reading about a couple in love， this book was basic， un-entertaining and just felt like The Sun had written an extended article - although generally the feeling was one of admiration for Meghan。 Definitely not a book I'd recommend sadly。 。。。more
