All the nerdy streamers I watch have been talking nonstop about this manga and show and because I am a joyful follower， I decided to give it a try。 Phew， this is dark。 In a good way！Yuji Itadori is a high school student with a dying grandfather and a deep interest in the occult。 He and his fellow members of the Occult Club at school manager to get their hands on a cursed object， without knowing it's true power， and when it is unseals it changes Yuji's life forever。 Yuji's natural physical streng All the nerdy streamers I watch have been talking nonstop about this manga and show and because I am a joyful follower， I decided to give it a try。 Phew， this is dark。 In a good way！Yuji Itadori is a high school student with a dying grandfather and a deep interest in the occult。 He and his fellow members of the Occult Club at school manager to get their hands on a cursed object， without knowing it's true power， and when it is unseals it changes Yuji's life forever。 Yuji's natural physical strength matched with his mental fortitude and desire to follow his grandfather's wishes of using his life to help others leads Yuji to becoming a Jujutsu Sorcerer。 He must now learn how to protect the world of the living from the world of the dead， all while self-sacrificing himself and his body。 First off， this series has awesome world building。 I was pulled into the world of the Jujutsu right away and found the history of them and curses to be super interesting。 That being said， this is definintely a series I won't be continuing to read through no fault of it's own。 I am terrible with blood and guts and anything super violent and this series is full of all of those things。 It makes the story incredibly dark and atmospheric which is awesome！ Just not for me。 I can absolutely see the appeal of it however and fans of Attack on Titan and other adventure/action based manga or anime will totally adore this。 Blog / Twitter / Instagram 。。。more

I binge watched the anime and now I am want to read the manga （also secretly crushing on Gojo Satoru because I can and stare at his beautiful eyes。 Stop。。。stop。 You are going off topic）I really like the premise of this series， it reminds me of Bleach with the demon slaying but definitely more into the creapy mutation vibe。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I don't have much to write because I've seen this before with the anime so I've got no new opinions。The expressions the characters make are probably 10x funnier in the manga。His grandpa dying did seem even shorter in the manga。 I know that he isn't really meant to be an important character but the fact that his last words were enough to get Itadori going down this path， you think we would have seen more of an impact from him and his death。Nobaraaa God do I fucking love her and her fucking hammer I don't have much to write because I've seen this before with the anime so I've got no new opinions。The expressions the characters make are probably 10x funnier in the manga。His grandpa dying did seem even shorter in the manga。 I know that he isn't really meant to be an important character but the fact that his last words were enough to get Itadori going down this path， you think we would have seen more of an impact from him and his death。Nobaraaa God do I fucking love her and her fucking hammer。 I honestly love every character so far and I'm excited to get to Nanami's introduction soon because he's lowkey one of my favorites。 。。。more

Got into the manga easier than the animeI was having trouble getting into the anime for this， but the manga was a fun read all the way through。 Now I can say i’m finally invested in Jujutsu Kaisen as a story。 I get Bleach vibes from this too。 It’s action packed and full of comedy。

Jujutsu Kaisen has a lot of potential。 The initial art style in this volume is nothing to write home about， but the curse-designs are really great。 I'd say they're a nice blend of body-horror and the grotesque。 In addition， although the character designs are not the most distinct， the dialogue and personalities of the characters are really fun and interesting。 Itadori， in particular， has a really interesting motivation and isn't the stereotypical 'idiot' shōnen protagonist。 My only complaint abo Jujutsu Kaisen has a lot of potential。 The initial art style in this volume is nothing to write home about， but the curse-designs are really great。 I'd say they're a nice blend of body-horror and the grotesque。 In addition， although the character designs are not the most distinct， the dialogue and personalities of the characters are really fun and interesting。 Itadori， in particular， has a really interesting motivation and isn't the stereotypical 'idiot' shōnen protagonist。 My only complaint about this first volume is that the storytelling can be a bit confusing with some events happening off-panel and the timeline of the storytelling being a bit wonky。 But otherwise， I'm very interested in reading more and seeing how the plot and characters develop。 。。。more

I picked this up after instantly falling in love with the show。 （This is the first manga I have read。） As a kid I was forced to read old English classics and it was never something I really enjoyed。 After exploring different types of books and genres this is definitely at the top of the list。 I was just constantly excited when I was reading and I had to slow myself down so I could just take everything in。 Would it be bad to say I’m obsessed？ Because it’s already too late。
