Very insightful full, books like this needs somebody who is prepared and ready to make the necessary changes in their lives。 It all starts with self-awareness before applying the change。 I like how the principles are articulated and throughout the book he keeps on emphasizing on the application of these principles in your life and practicing them on a daily basis。 Thumbs up 👍

。。。more

Thoughts decide actions, and actions decide results。 I'm not sure why people gave it negative reviews, probably because for some, his ideas may appear rather offensive。 Some parts of the book I felt like they were nkt sufficiently explained。 But I would still consider one of the most influential books of my list。 Definitely a must-read imo。 Thoughts decide actions, and actions decide results。 I'm not sure why people gave it negative reviews, probably because for some, his ideas may appear rather offensive。 Some parts of the book I felt like they were nkt sufficiently explained。 But I would still consider one of the most influential books of my list。 Definitely a must-read imo。 。。。more

。。。more

If this book doesn't motivate you to conquer the world, I don't know what will。 From cover to cover, this book provides a clear recipe to develop a "growth mindset" to think and grow rich。 Let's talk about Chapter 14。 Although I have not read other book reviews, I'm sure it's the most controversial chapter in the book。 Personally, I have not mastered the other 12 steps so my opinion is absolutely meaningless。 I think that it takes guts to write about that (especially in 1937!) and being successf If this book doesn't motivate you to conquer the world, I don't know what will。 From cover to cover, this book provides a clear recipe to develop a "growth mindset" to think and grow rich。 Let's talk about Chapter 14。 Although I have not read other book reviews, I'm sure it's the most controversial chapter in the book。 Personally, I have not mastered the other 12 steps so my opinion is absolutely meaningless。 I think that it takes guts to write about that (especially in 1937!) and being successful is so rare that I guarantee the sixth sense CAN be harvested through consistent desire and autosuggestion。 Thomas Edison believed in the sixth sense, so I'm ALL IN。 You have to be a little crazy to be successful。 。。。more

。。more

Think and Grow Rich Book examines the psychological power of thinking and the brain in the process of advancing your career for both financial and personal satisfaction。 Originally published in 1937, it is one of the all-time self-help classics。 Investors and business people must read this book。 Think and Grow Rich Book examines the psychological power of thinking and the brain in the process of advancing your career for both financial and personal satisfaction。 Originally published in 1937, it is one of the all-time self-help classics。 Investors and business people must read this book。 。。。more

The book takes the logic of 'you are what you think' to the extreme, to the point of the author saying he made his deaf son hear just by following that way of thinking。I get that, indeed, if you act as if it all depends on you, you have a higher chance of succeeding than if you act helpless。 And I also get that some things are mysterious in this world of ours regarding the connection between thought and reality。 It's just that there's no nuance here to be found。 The book takes the logic of 'you are what you think' to the extreme, to the point of the author saying he made his deaf son hear just by following that way of thinking。I get that, indeed, if you act as if it all depends on you, you have a higher chance of succeeding than if you act helpless。 And I also get that some things are mysterious in this world of ours regarding the connection between thought and reality。 It's just that there's no nuance here to be found。 。。。more

This book certainly started off exciting。 The voices he author used was enthusiastic enough to keep me reading to the second and third chapter, but by the fourth it was simply repetitive of the one message, “believe and you can,” as if by magic。 I could say the text is somewhat outdated and may pertain to the machine age, while we live now in the Information Age。 However, my issue with most books like this is that is spends hundreds of pages saying one thing fanatically, which is more philosophi This book certainly started off exciting。 The voices he author used was enthusiastic enough to keep me reading to the second and third chapter, but by the fourth it was simply repetitive of the one message, “believe and you can,” as if by magic。 I could say the text is somewhat outdated and may pertain to the machine age, while we live now in the Information Age。 However, my issue with most books like this is that is spends hundreds of pages saying one thing fanatically, which is more philosophical, if anything, than informative, and dies off without any real advise or direction for the reader。 A naive or gullible reader would be left pumped up to chase a desire or dream with absolutely no resources, tools, or guide to he may find the resources or tools。 Though the mental stimuli of believing is a real concept, this book could have at least provided the neurological information to the readers。 。。。more

I suggested this book for a financial literacy bookclub and needless to say, it was a big fail haha No one, not even me who chose it, could bear to stomach the way the author talks about people and the unrealistic way he speaks of success。 We got to read about 3 chapters and that was it。 I was left feeling sad for his deaf child and disappointed with the way this book was executed。

One of my favorite books。 Very philosophical however the author provides evidence from some of the most successful business men in history and how they were able to use the laws of nature to attract what they wanted。 This book is very much about manifestation and visualization。 Worth a read at least once a year。
