Such a cute （yet VERY SPICY） bookThis is one of the only books where I actually laughed out loud。 It was raunchy and funny with the grumpy sunshine vibe。 The best friends in this book had me laughing the whole time。 If you like rom come but want to get into Fanta y this is a good choice。 The o my complaint is that the world building was a bit confusing and I wish there was more backstory。

DNF @ 25%…this book was sadly a mess。 I knew from the first few pages not to keep going， but I did hoping it would get better and was only disappointed。 There’s no character development， and essentially no plot。 I don’t mind a naive main character who eventually begins to become stronger， but unfortunately Arianna was just written as a sex addicted idiot。 And don’t get me started on the plot…or more like the lack of。 I don’t think the author actually went back and re read what they write 😅

people I didn't mind them dying at all， especially the ex and even the last guy， but Arienna becomes so frustrating in these scenes like ughhhhh let them dieee！！Nonetheless as much as it pained him he still trusted her， though I did feel like he was bit much， throwing Arienna out each time in her state of arousal wasn't amusing （the office and room） since he was also meant to be possessive and the jealous type， also in the bdsm scene， like yeah you are angry and want to inflict pain or whatever but when it comes to intimacy and all especially with bdsm I doubt it would be okay to go that far， with how Arienna was still new to it all and so guilt ridden that she would have taken a 1，000 lashes from him just to feel like she deserved it for "trying to kill him" （it was such a flawed plan to begin with ugh） the scene could have gone without the pain inflicted on her。This scene was absolutely yumm， the taunting yesss。。"I turned to Arienna before I’d even known what I was doing。 “You don’t talk to her like that， my king。” She stopped in her tracks， her brow furrowing in surprise。My heart began to race。 “You will address me with respect。” I just wantedto hear her say it。 My king。 “Just as I will you。” I paused， looking her in theeye。 “My queen，” I breathed。"This was hilarious， I had to step back and laugh and also feel the embarrassment。"Marrabel’s voice turned stern。 “You better relax， Your Majesty， because Iam not fingering you。”Oh my gods。 Just drop me now。 Pushing my hands against my face， Iwished for death。 Ironic。"Though it was uncomfortable how much they finnessed in public having so many people protecting them constantly， Richard constantly had his hands in Ariennas clothes。 This was so hot， like yes please to knives。"But then he was running the blade up my thigh， slicing the fabric cleanthrough， and his lips were following， and fuck me。"*The freaking ballroom， like yess and then after？ whew six-fuken-tin 16 orgasims？ ma'am how did she not collapse and they still continued after lol， the smut was fun though* This was also everything"he bit my pussy。 Sharp pain mixed with pleasure。Turning his head， he sunk his teeth into my thigh。 I cried out， slightly light way that I enjoyed。Now the begining was definitely confusing， too much too fast to wrap my head around， almost had me #dnf the book， but I pushed through and enjoyed the rest of the book。 I 100% believe the author could have added 100-200 more pages to thoroughly explore Richards background and how and why he killed his sisters， what happened to his parents and childhood too。 Need to understand the whole brownie concept and how they came to be and why， we need to know more about Arienna and her family， what trauma caused her to be so naive and open to allow people to walk all over her （her ex fiancé literally fucked her sister and mom and married the mom）。 There were quite too many plot holes like how Richard apparently killed/ hurt one of his guard for speaking about Ariennas boobs， like when and where did all this happen and I felt the end was rushed， we didn't get to see Arienna at the court， nor the sinister work of the court members， why did the guards outside her door trust her too much and too fast？ We didn't get to see her as queen and fully enjoying her authority that was more powerful than the kings。 Also the concept of faeries and them living in a whole other world wasn't spoken of or brought out enough， I only remembered when they spoke of the wings and all， it was too human like that the fantasy element completely dissapeared。So a lot needed elaboration and the characters definitely needed to develop more。Would still recommend If you can get past the technicalities。 。。。more
