this was a great activity book to use to work through things that have been on my mind and also things that I'd like to work on。 I probably should not have done the whole thing in one day and worked on it over time, but if I didn't do it in one day I probably would never have finished it which has everything to do with me and not the book。 Although I wish that there was more variety in the prompts because many of them felt very similar and a lot of my answers were the same or a variation of the this was a great activity book to use to work through things that have been on my mind and also things that I'd like to work on。 I probably should not have done the whole thing in one day and worked on it over time, but if I didn't do it in one day I probably would never have finished it which has everything to do with me and not the book。 Although I wish that there was more variety in the prompts because many of them felt very similar and a lot of my answers were the same or a variation of the same thing。 。。。more

I enjoyed some of the prompts but others just felt like I was making things up。 Not a horrible guided journal, but not great either。

It was okay。 Some of the prompts felt odd or difficult to connect with。 I think it was mostly due to how the author phrased some of her questions (Though I will say the cursing added a little something extra and gave the perseverance I needed to push forward。 Absolutely loved that!)。 I did this journal concurrently with my sister, and if I hadn't had that accountability piece, I honestly probably wouldn't have finished。 Not horrible by any means, but I've written in guided journals that were far It was okay。 Some of the prompts felt odd or difficult to connect with。 I think it was mostly due to how the author phrased some of her questions (Though I will say the cursing added a little something extra and gave the perseverance I needed to push forward。 Absolutely loved that!)。 I did this journal concurrently with my sister, and if I hadn't had that accountability piece, I honestly probably wouldn't have finished。 Not horrible by any means, but I've written in guided journals that were far more compelling。 。。。more

Fun journal prompt book

My daughter gave this book to me for Christmas。 I loved it。 It was fun reading and finding ways daily to let go of Caca that I still harbor and have a hard time letting go。

Bought this book when I purchased "Zen as F*ck。" Wasn't sure which book would be more relevant for my needs (haha)。 I love them both。 (Also, excellent for gift giving!)。 I have found myself more angry lately and needed something else to focus my energy on (knitting and puzzles weren't going to do it)。 Let That Sh*t Go has some great activities to help you take that negative energy and turn it around。 The journaling suggestions are spot on and Sweeney's humor helps tremendously! Fun, Not quite what I expected。 But it was neat to go through the different activities

Loved the straight facts and information to let go of all that pulls you down。 Very interesting。 I gave a book to my sister。

I bought this because I have issues letting things go and just taking a f*king chill pill。 It's fun to read and the illustrations are good but I found that I stopped once I made it about half way。 It is currently sitting on my bookshelf gathering the dust of all the books of my huge TBR pile。 This could be because I'm not a huge journal-er。 I've tried, but I've lost interest every。 single。 time。 It's a solid book though, and I encourage anyone who needs to take a breath and RELAX to give it a sh I bought this because I have issues letting things go and just taking a f*king chill pill。 It's fun to read and the illustrations are good but I found that I stopped once I made it about half way。 It is currently sitting on my bookshelf gathering the dust of all the books of my huge TBR pile。 This could be because I'm not a huge journal-er。 I've tried, but I've lost interest every。 single。 time。 It's a solid book though, and I encourage anyone who needs to take a breath and RELAX to give it a shot。 3。5 stars。 。。。more

Solid, if a bit repetitive。 But when I needed it, the sayings and activities were useful。 I'll probably go through and cut some of them out before I ceremonially burn the book for fun。 Solid, if a bit repetitive。 But when I needed it, the sayings and activities were useful。 I'll probably go through and cut some of them out before I ceremonially burn the book for fun。 。。。more

This was fun and positive。 It engaged my thought process and feelings on a deep level but also in a lighthearted way。 I would definitely do another journal like this one。

Kristine

I really enjoyed the journal prompts。 It forces me to think about things & write it down。 Putting it down on paper makes it all seem much more real。 I would definitely do another journal from Monica Sweeney。

This journal was a lot of fun。 It's so pretty, and I wanted to be able to use it again in the future, so I wrote out everything on notebook paper instead。 Which was kind of a mistake as I missed out on some of the more creative activities。 The next time I use it I will for sure write in the book。 I've put some of the suggestions into use and am honestly coping a lot better than I was just a couple of days ago。 I recommend this for anyone who is feeling stuck getting through a tough situation。 This journal was a lot of fun。 It's so pretty, and I wanted to be able to use it again in the future, so I wrote out everything on notebook paper instead。 Which was kind of a mistake as I missed out on some of the more creative activities。 The next time I use it I will for sure write in the book。 I've put some of the suggestions into use and am honestly coping a lot better than I was just a couple of days ago。 I recommend this for anyone who is feeling stuck getting through a tough situation。 。。。more

Took me awhile。 A page a day

I love this workbook! I have c-PTSD and it has helped me gain some insight into what I’m holding onto and how it’s holding me back。 It does so in a very sarcastic way。 Which is great for me because sarcasm and swearing are my two primary languages。 I know, I’m horrible。 But the journal is excellent。

Fun little book to kick off my morning routine of meditation and journaling。 Best white elephant gift I ever picked。 Glad the wax melter pot thing was stolen from me so I could pick this。
