Yüzündeki ifadelerden öyle geldi herhalde。Ben ise gene bir çocuk kitabında kendi sorunumun kaynağını buldum。 Kaybolmamışım sadece 。。。 (spoiler içermesin yazmayım)

It's fine, but describing this book as humorous is funnier than anything in it。 It's fine, but describing this book as humorous is funnier than anything in it。 。。。more

Really nice story about the importance of friendship

Ellen Williams-Sharkey

This lovely book follows the story of a boy and penguin。 The penguin is lost and follows the boy around, but he looks sad。 So, the boy thinks he might miss his “home” and so takes him to the North Pole。 However, the penguin then looks more sad than ever。 The book ends with the boy and the penguin reuniting again。 This could help to support the idea that although friends can be separated and might feel sad when they’re apart, they can always get back to each other。

Read this to year 2 and 3 mixed class today。 Allowed one child to choose a book from the shelf and this is what they selected。 Many children called out that they had read this before but quickly came together on the carpet so we could read as a cosy little group。 It was nice that they were familiar with it, as they pointed out sweet little details from within the illustrations to me。 The tale is of a penguin you turns up on a boys doorstep。 The boy thinks he must need help getting home to the So Read this to year 2 and 3 mixed class today。 Allowed one child to choose a book from the shelf and this is what they selected。 Many children called out that they had read this before but quickly came together on the carpet so we could read as a cosy little group。 It was nice that they were familiar with it, as they pointed out sweet little details from within the illustrations to me。 The tale is of a penguin you turns up on a boys doorstep。 The boy thinks he must need help getting home to the South Pole and they journey together to try and reunite the little penguin with friends and/or family。 There are some relatable moments from within the book, in particular where some birds ignore the boy and the penguin。 We discussed how some people are like this too。 Or when the penguins looks sad, that we sometimes feel sad too。 There are also some really gorgeous, heartwarming moments too, depicting helpfulness and friendship。 It's a sweet book, and I enjoyed it。 。。。more

Such a lovely story about friendship and teaches children that friendship can occur between anyone no matter where they live。

I read this to the girl I nanny for, who is almost five。 It wasn’t as silly or funny as some other Jeffers picture books, but it was a sweet little story, and she seemed to like it。

I’m becoming quite the Oliver Jeffers fan。 A seemingly simple story about a boy who finds a penguin and works tirelessly to get it home to the South Pole。 Read it。 Over and over。 You won’t regret it。Recommended for 0-5 year olds

I quite enjoy Jeffers' stories。 The drawings are vibrant and colorful, with simply drawn characters。 This story is about friendship, simply being together and the pleasure of passing time in someone's company。 I quite enjoy Jeffers' stories。 The drawings are vibrant and colorful, with simply drawn characters。 This story is about friendship, simply being together and the pleasure of passing time in someone's company。 。。。more

Cute book about friendship。

I really enjoyed this book。 A lovely story about friendship that shows that 'home' is not a place, rather it is being with people you love。 The illustrations were a good addition to the story, too。 I really enjoyed this book。 A lovely story about friendship that shows that 'home' is not a place, rather it is being with people you love。 The illustrations were a good addition to the story, too。 。。。more
