I'll admit， I didn't have high expectations going into this book， considering the direction KOTLC has been going， but I was pleasantly surprised！ First off， the registry files， medical record， detention record， and so many other cool sections were really well done。 Also， THE PICTURES。 I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY DRAWINGS SO BEAUTIFUL。As far as the novella portion goes， it's ultimate savior was the portions from Keefe's point of view， and the fact that the series is finally focusing on someone other th I'll admit， I didn't have high expectations going into this book， considering the direction KOTLC has been going， but I was pleasantly surprised！ First off， the registry files， medical record， detention record， and so many other cool sections were really well done。 Also， THE PICTURES。 I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY DRAWINGS SO BEAUTIFUL。As far as the novella portion goes， it's ultimate savior was the portions from Keefe's point of view， and the fact that the series is finally focusing on someone other than Sophie （I understand that she is the main character， but still）。 There were several actions done by the characters that should've been done a long time ago， but it feels like the series is picking up its pace again。 I also enjoyed how angry Sophie was in this one because it added another layer and more depth to her character。 And don't even get me started on Keefe's arc in this book， or I'm going to start crying。 Please don't make me relive the ending。 Keefe's character will now forever be superior。There were still some aspects that annoyed me， like the fact that none of the adults have any common sense besides Mr。 Forkle， Edaline， and occasionally Grady。 Ro's character also feels like it's not going anywhere， but I'm willing to overlook those minor things in favor of the successful portions of this book。Anyway， I actually really enjoyed Unlocked。 Give it a read。 。。。more

and approximately 6，000 pages later， i’m finished with my binge of this series。 here are my thoughts:for as face paced as these books are， the series sure feels like it’s dragging on。 9 books and still the same unanswered questions from book 1？ it’s a no from me。 however i LOVE the characters and the world building is fantastic。 i’m looking forward to the author finally tying up the loose ends in the final books。 series overall rating 4 stars。 these books are a lot of fun just super long lol。

I think it’s a very captivating book， like every other book in the series。 The characters are all unique and has complex personalities which makes the story interesting， and the plot is very addictive。 This book heals the pain from the cliffhanger in the previous book in the series， legacy， and also has a lot of amazing pictures that portray significant scenes in the series。 It directly carries on from Legacy （previous book） and has chapters in Keefe’s point of view， which I think makes the stor I think it’s a very captivating book， like every other book in the series。 The characters are all unique and has complex personalities which makes the story interesting， and the plot is very addictive。 This book heals the pain from the cliffhanger in the previous book in the series， legacy， and also has a lot of amazing pictures that portray significant scenes in the series。 It directly carries on from Legacy （previous book） and has chapters in Keefe’s point of view， which I think makes the story more interesting because it’s told in more than one person’s perspective。 The actual plot doesn’t continue until halfway through the book， the first half consists of information about the characters which helps the reader understand them， their feelings and their personality， which makes it easier to relate to them。 There are also information about the concepts in the Lost Cities， which gives the reader further and deeper understanding of the setting of the story。 Unfortunately you have to read the series in chronological order or you won’t be able to understand the plot or the character， and even more unfortunately this isn’t the end of the series so you will have to wait for a whole year for the next book to come out， but overall， it’s an amazing book which I recommend to people between 12-16 because the main characters are all in that age range。 。。。more

I loved the bits of information that was given throughout this book。 It gave a full scope of the elvin world and all that happened within it。 I enjoyed reading about the characters and certain events that have happened throughout the book。 Keefe’s memories were very enjoyable to read the commentary about and see his side of things。 The novella was definitely the highlight of the book。 The moon lark is really starting to be the leader she was meant to be。
