Calamity is brutal world building! Things are on an epic level from the start! The Reckoners etc take on the epic! Full of twists and turns you won't see coming! Brandon Sanderson always delivers at the end。 I enjoyed this more than the middle book。

--- ☆☆ ---Can't exactly say where this book lost me, but at the end I was so tired I became indifferent。 Hence, it took me forever to finish this book。 I felt this last installment very slow and with a lot of uninteresting descriptions about weapons and gadgets。 The ending was also too abrupt for me。Sad to say, this is the first Sanderson book I did not enjoy。 But perhaps that's more my fault than his, having read them too quickly, and considering I'm not part of the target demographic。 --- ☆☆ ---Can't exactly say where this book lost me, but at the end I was so tired I became indifferent。 Hence, it took me forever to finish this book。 I felt this last installment very slow and with a lot of uninteresting descriptions about weapons and gadgets。 The ending was also too abrupt for me。Sad to say, this is the first Sanderson book I did not enjoy。 But perhaps that's more my fault than his, having read them too quickly, and considering I'm not part of the target demographic。 。。。more

3。5/5This series was crazy。 I loved the dystopian setting, ( wow I never thought I would say that) and the characters。 I will defiantly remember David for his bad metaphors。 That has to be the most interesting characteristic I've ever read。 When it came to the plot I felt like it was slow in some places。 I enjoyed having a new setting in each book, going from Chicago to New York to。。 Mississippi? I left like the villain wasn't as intimidatingly as other books。 The relationship between Megan and 3。5/5This series was crazy。 I loved the dystopian setting, ( wow I never thought I would say that) and the characters。 I will defiantly remember David for his bad metaphors。 That has to be the most interesting characteristic I've ever read。 When it came to the plot I felt like it was slow in some places。 I enjoyed having a new setting in each book, going from Chicago to New York to。。 Mississippi? A thoroughly enjoyable way to finish the series。 I think I enjoyed this series more than any other Brandon Sanderson one, which is certainly saying something。 Like the other books in the series there is a lot of action and humor。 I do wish he had dragged it out into a five or six book series though。

I was storm between giving this 4 and 5 stars。 I feel that this whole thing has been on the older cusp of YA but it never really felt like YA until the last few chapters of closing this thing out。 However, I’m not going to hold that against Sanderson for an overwhelming great story。 Highly recommend。

Well, I finished another Sanderson trilogy。 I had so much fun with this book and I like how I could never really nail down what was going to happen。 David is our main character and we've followed him through all 3 books。 He continues to say that he's missing something about putting all the information together, and just that one little hint throughout the books just kept me guessing。 It almost felt like a mystery as well as a fantasy book。 I can't say what happens, but they are figuring out who Well, I finished another Sanderson trilogy。 I had so much fun with this book and I like how I could never really nail down what was going to happen。 David is our main character and we've followed him through all 3 books。 He continues to say that he's missing something about putting all the information together, and just that one little hint throughout the books just kept me guessing。 It almost felt like a mystery as well as a fantasy book。 I can't say what happens, but they are figuring out who Calamity is and how to deal with Calamity。 It's just so interesting and I really enjoyed the way the series went。 。。。more
