Summary

When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it's there。 There's no explanation: just a grainy image, a website address and a phone number。 She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it's just someone who looks like Zoe。 But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that。 Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make 。。。

This was my second book by this author and whilst in was a good read it didnt grab me like the previous one I read。

Well written。 Scary as most of us, women, we have had those creepy feelings of being observed。

Windy

Really original crime concept and a pacy plot。 Plenty of red herrings to keep the reader guessing。 Will read more by this author

What was this

Dimitris Kopsidas

I almost didn’t read this book based on the reviews, but I’m glad I did。 It’s hard to compare to I Let You Go as that was an absolute STUNNER of a book, but I really enjoyed this (and smashed it out in two days!)。 A great thriller whodunnit story where I found myself suspecting everyone in the book。

Terri Morrone

Book lacked any big shocks, but overall good story and a surprising ending

Could not put this down, such a great read。

After logn hiatus from reading books, and I hve 3 piles of Mackintosh books I gave this asa starter。 Zoe Walker is a divorced woman with 2 children: Boy is Justin, and girl is Katie living together in a house plus Zoe's boyfriend, Simon。 She is a career woman we usually seen as routine if we use public commuter line。 One day, she catches a photo of her in classified adverts in a London newspaper。 Knowing she has done anything wrong she asked help to Police Constable woman named Kelly Swift。 Desp After logn hiatus from reading books, and I hve 3 piles of Mackintosh books I gave this asa starter。 Zoe Walker is a divorced woman with 2 children: Boy is Justin, and girl is Katie living together in a house plus Zoe's boyfriend, Simon。 She is a career woman we usually seen as routine if we use public commuter line。 One day, she catches a photo of her in classified adverts in a London newspaper。 Knowing she has done anything wrong she asked help to Police Constable woman named Kelly Swift。 Desperate from her photo, Zoe finds the next day the advert shows a photo of a different women and antoher day after day they died。 I See You is a chilling psychological-crime that will make you have to 'a little bit' swim across detective procedures and 'get-to-know' how cyber-crime is。 Me actually felt this book was: Slow-fast-slow-fast like a roller-coaster, so, there's the page I do enjoy and there aren't。 But we can't swipe away from psychological thriller type book written that we can't take easy for the aspect 'closest people around us'。"Do the scales of friendship have to balance so absolutely?" 322We all know the villain mostly do their mess because of。"It was payback for her"And If you off guard from them, they brain will:"They think they've won the game。 The think it's all over。 They're wrong。 This is just beginning。 I have the concept。 And of course, I have you。"3 / 5 。。。more

I am unashamedly having a crime/ thriller month to see me through the change to dark evenings。 Comfort reading! This one was a great start super creepy and might make me even more paranoid on the Underground!

This one hit home because I am someone who would take the train and stand in the same place and so it gripped me。

I’ve been following Clare Mackintosh on Tik Tok for a while and she is hilarious!! However her book was completely serious, dark and twisted but above all fantastic!! Literally left the final twist until the very few sentences。 I thought I had guessed ‘who done it’ but no, it completely threw me even though looking back, there were plenty of hints! Will definitely be reading more of her books very soon! thanks Clare, will recommend this to everyone 😊

OMG 😳 I never saw that ending coming Incredibly well written

Gillian

A great read in the first three quarters, good tension building, but the end came in too much of a rush and wasn’t convincing。

Emily Nelsen

5 stars for the final third of the book but not as strong as her other books。

I See You certainly kept me on my toes and guessing。 I enjoyed the writing and the characters and all the twists & turns。 It was very unbelievable, though。。。 the far-fetchedness of someone cataloguing all these commutes on their own to post to some non-descript, very expensive website。 I just don't think the logistics are plausible at all。 Very interesting, though, and I'd definitely recommend this one to fans of thrillers and suspense。 I See You certainly kept me on my toes and guessing。 I enjoyed the writing and the characters and all the twists & turns。 It was very unbelievable, though。。。 the far-fetchedness of someone cataloguing all these commutes on their own to post to some non-descript, very expensive website。 I just don't think the logistics are plausible at all。 Very interesting, though, and I'd definitely recommend this one to fans of thrillers and suspense。 。。。more

The first 100 pages were painfully slow and confusing。 The next 100 were better。 The last 170 were fabulous!!
