Summary
When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper， she is determined to find out why it's there。 There's no explanation: just a grainy image， a website address and a phone number。 She takes it home to her family， who are convinced it's just someone who looks like Zoe。 But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman， and another the day after that。 Is it a mistake？ A coincidence？ Or is someone keeping track of every move they make 。。。

I almost didn’t read this book based on the reviews， but I’m glad I did。 It’s hard to compare to I Let You Go as that was an absolute STUNNER of a book， but I really enjoyed this （and smashed it out in two days！）。 A great thriller whodunnit story where I found myself suspecting everyone in the book。

Una de las mejores novelas de misterio que he leído en lo que va del año。Por segunda ocasión quedo impresionado por esta autora。 Tiene una habilidad de ir narrando una historia que poco a poco se va volviendo muy compleja， y además de irnos dando pequeñas sorpresas al final de cada capítulo。 Además de contar una historia compleja， poco a poco nos va dando un poco de lo que piensa y que motiva a los personajes， se siente un crecimiento de todos desde el primer capítulo hasta la última página， y s Una de las mejores novelas de misterio que he leído en lo que va del año。Por segunda ocasión quedo impresionado por esta autora。 Tiene una habilidad de ir narrando una historia que poco a poco se va volviendo muy compleja， y además de irnos dando pequeñas sorpresas al final de cada capítulo。 Además de contar una historia compleja， poco a poco nos va dando un poco de lo que piensa y que motiva a los personajes， se siente un crecimiento de todos desde el primer capítulo hasta la última página， y se da de forma natural， no es que nos tira todo en la cara de un solo。 No pienso hablar mucho de lo que sucede en esta historia， pero todo lo que se nos planteó y lo que sucedió estuvo muy bien logrado， no hubo momentos clichés ni momentos incómodos; no hubo el típico diálogo de villano de televisión。 Siento que todo estuvo en buena medida。 Aplaudo el hecho de que la historia se siente en un momento actual， y a que a pesar de que menciona ciertas marcas， la historia no se siente desactualizada; sino que utiliza elementos que han estado presentes de cierto momento a la actualidad y que pueden continuar siendo parte de la vida humano。 Siento que bien esta novela puede ser un capítulo de Black Mirror; tiene todos los elementos para poder formar parte de ese universo exitosamente。Muy buena historia。 ¡Excelente！ Creo que esta autora se está encaminando a ser una de mis escritoras favoritas。 。。。more

I’ve been following Clare Mackintosh on Tik Tok for a while and she is hilarious！！ However her book was completely serious， dark and twisted but above all fantastic！！ Literally left the final twist until the very few sentences。 I thought I had guessed ‘who done it’ but no， it completely threw me even though looking back， there were plenty of hints！ Will definitely be reading more of her books very soon！ thanks Clare， will recommend this to everyone 😊

So good 👌🏼 I do love a thriller as lang as its no scary enough to gee me nightmares 😂 I widna say dis wis scary， but it wis creepy。 Dis is da 2nd Clare Mackintosh book I’ve read and I’ve loved dem both so would definitely recommend her as an author。
