I have no idea how to rate this book- the 5 languages themselves， isolated， were worth looking at and contemplating in regards to relationships， but the archaic， heteronormative， sexist presentation of relationships just p*ssed me off to no end。

This book enlightened me！ It was fascinating to learn how we love ourselves and others based on our upbringing and how we can bring our relationships to the next level by having that understanding and learning about our love languages。 Had an ah-ha moment when reading this！ Things in past relationships finally started to make sense。 I highly recommend to any couple who is looking for ways to give and receive love in meaningful and lasting ways。
