I bought this book four or five months after starting studying the language but could not understand enough of the content to enjoy the experience。 I picked it up again after one year of study and while it was still very challenging， this time I managed to finish it， one story at a time。 I will very likely reread it in a few months to measure my progress。 Good stories， great way to learn vocabulary and get used to a large range of grammar patterns！

Not what I’m interested in。。。Sports， dating， everyday life。It might be great for someone who wants practical vocabulary and stories。 It just wasn’t for me。 So I took off one star。
